The AA does say she was captured on camera making that second purchase at PetCo.

I hope it clearly shows her with a phone.

Definitive proof she is pretending to be Gannon all day on his phone.

I believe they had Gs phone, I don’t know if they will have a clear enough picture to tell them apart plus if she had turned her phone on it would have pinged. I think she left it at home that day.

MOO about the light you can see being obscured by movement in the truck after.LS parks:
MOO the movement has pacing for a driver reaching for bags or stuff in passenger or back seat. But LS emerges from the truck with a small white bag or hoodie etc.

For the theory that Gannon did make it home during the neighbor's video, this is a good explanation and video to help explain the "shadow" on the opposite side of the truck and why he may have gotten home afterall.

Its a short video and you can watch right from the beginning because he gets to explaining it soon beginning around 2:53 if you want to skip ahead to around there.

I see the shadow he is talking about and it is pretty convincing to me because it seems that nothing else should be making that small shadow.

Its not a lot to go on but it does add a little bit of evidence that maybe he did come home afterall.

Very interesting.

I'm not saying for sure that GS didn't return home from shopping.

I am saying for sure that it is impossible that that is GS's shadow.

I will also say that it is impossible that that is any kind of shadow.

I am basing this off of the position of the sun at the times of the video. It's science.

It was a cloudy day. Where is LS's shadow when she first walks out to the truck? It should be cast about 9ft out in front of her.

The spot of GS's "shadow" would not only be IN the shadow of the truck, but also IN the shadow of the house covering the driveway. How does someone cast their shadow upon two other shadows and it be visible?

The only distinct shadows in the video are directly under the vehicles....which would imply that the sun was directly overhead. This is not anywhere close to being the case. At that latitude, at that time of the year, the sun at "high noon" is only about 33 degrees above the horizon (zero degrees being the horizon, and 90 degrees being directly overhead).

Google pictures of the stauch home. Particularly note the ones with the crime scene van to ensure the same time of year. Find the "sunny" pictures where dark, distinct shadows are cast. The vehicle's shadows are not only "outlining" the entire vehicle (as in the truck video), but are cast a significant distance away from the vehicle, away from the sun (obviously). In the truck video, there are no such shadows created that day.

Also of note, in those pictures, depending on the time of day, you can see the distinct shadows of the houses that cover most of the driveways on the stauch's side of the street. Again, how are we going to see his shadow.....if he is standing in the house's shadow......that we can't see anyway because it is couldy?

In the truck video, the shadows under the vehicles are not shadows created from direct sunlight. Rather they are shadows created by the illuminated sky, or clouds, or wherever it comes from on a cloudy day.......FROM ALL DIRECTIONS. Again, this is why TS doesn't have a shadow when she walks out to the truck (and she is taller and more rotund than GS).

In the very beginning of the video, you can see the faint shadow of the truck cast out into the street. This shadow is very faint because (IMO) it is from the direct sunlight that is being partially blocked by the clouds. I mention this because at 2pm when she returns, you can no longer even see this "faint shadow." To me, this means that it is even cloudier at 2pm than it was at 10am.......hence even less likely that a person would cast a visible shadow.

Anyway, I apologize for the rant to anyone that has made it this far..... ; )

I took an interest in these home security cameras as investigative tools and privacy concerns before this case and frankly I was stunned by the quality of audio recording by RD's system. From that system alone, we were able to hear the Stauch kids chatter as they played up front, clearly enough that we could make out what they were saying. Who knows what else RD's surveillance and the systems of other neighbors picked up?
I suppose that is how TS knew what LE was saying in their house when she herself wasn't there? She texted LE Tuesday night that she could hear them even at that moment. I wondered how, but perhaps the ADT system allows for remote audio?

I know it's already been touched on, but the way LS did Google searches tells us things, IMO. There are several where I think she's remembering a meme she saw on FB or something and wants to find it again, maybe to send it to someone or post it online. Such as: "parents are those who put thwir kids before their nails." There's a meme you can find if you search for "can't afford new shoes and clothes for your kids? stop getting your nails done." I think she was remembering seeing this meme. Guessing it stuck with her because she was spending money on the kids and wished she was getting her nails done instead, or because she saw LH with nice nails and it made her mad.

Same for "one day some people will.wish they treated you differently." It matches a meme that says "your next season is going to make some people wish they would've treated you differently." "I wonder if my husbands exwife is sending me a card since I.raise.her.kids." matches "I wonder if my husband's ex-wife is going to send me a Mother's Day card this year, since I AM raising her children?" These sound like memes, and a search of images will find ones that match.

Also, I think the Google searches with multiple periods accidentally placed where spaces should be = LS is very upset and making quick movements. The ones with three or more periods include the card one mentioned above, plus: "my son.burned the carpet how.do I fix.it"

Thanks for this upload. ^^^

I'm thinking that if he exited the truck on his own which it appears that he could have --- then far from being too ill to walk he was actually recovering from an overdose, if she in fact drugged him.
So at this point he wasn't dying, he was recovering.
Which further angered her ?

What if she gave him anti-freeze or Benadryl or Ritalin, etc. and instead of dying in the truck like she'd hoped he started to improve and that sent the perp into an additional rage ?

I believe this is all very possible. After they returned home, she knew she had 1 hr until Laina came home. She seemed desperate to kill him. Which begs the question, what kind of injury did she give him Sunday night that was SO severe she felt she needed to go through with this immediately, AND one that allowed Gannon to walk freely to and from the truck with no transfer of his blood?

I do not believe that any child is born evil, or that no amount of nurturing or love can change the outcome.

I think environment plays an important role, and even when someone is born with a genetic predisposition for something like APD, it doesn't necessarily mean they will become a psychopath or commit violent crimes.

However, abuse, neglect and traumatic events increase the chance of developing a disorder and there are steps parents and therapists can take to prevent the child from becoming "evil."

I don't believe a normal person could do the things that LS did. Although I do agree with the notion that anyone is capable of anything given the right circumstances, I also think that there had to be some dysfunction in her life that led her to commit such a crime.

Understanding the circumstances that helped to create such a person capable of this level of violence might help to recognize the signs, or prevent such behavior in other potential criminals.

Imo
Yes maybe. I said it is my opinion. But we can’t fix every one. That’s an impossible task. <modsnip: removed religious references>

I don’t believe LS could have been helped. But maybe.

Brilliant. Searching for memes makes a lot of sense.

I do think it’s possible she drugged him. She left her phone at home, and almost certainly left Gannon’s phone in Petco. There is absolutely a nefarious reason for all the subterfuge.

I see two possibilities:

She did plan on killing him in broad daylight and backed out for some reason.

She drugged him, hoping he would die during their travels.

Regardless of which scenario occurred, it appears she likely did commit the murder at home. The blood evidence looks like rage to me, especially coupled with the charges for multiple murder implements.
What do you believe were her plans if he had died during their ride on Monday? Let’s say he was poisoned and died. Then what? Was she going to bring him back home with her and bury him on the 28th? I can’t see the home killing because the police might have picked up on that evidence that Monday night. Boy it seems nervy to me for her to kill him at home.

IIRC there was mention of another Nissan? which was the former car of LS and still in her name?? This was from a thread here, but it could have made its way over from SM. MOO
It was me. I posted that tax record. She does have a Nissan still in her name in S. Carolina tax records. She is delinquent on the taxes. It could just be lack of follow through on paperwork. I hope that is sucked out of any future prison earnings.

I could never figure out the make, model or color.

I speculated that could have been how the caravan arrived (gave/sold to a relative etc.) but I was wrong, now knowing the aunt rented a car.

The cars mentioned in the arrest affidavit are:

Red Nissan Frontier. AS's car.

Black Volkswagen Tiguan. TS's car.

White VW Jetta. HH's car

White Kia Rio. T's rental car.

Silver Nissan Altima. Aunt's rental car.

That is interesting in the car she rented at the airport. Notice from the links below a white Kia Rio looks very similar to a white VW Jetta.

I dont think that is a coincidence she rented a vehicle that looks like HH's. I would not doubt if she was trying to put the blame on HH if it came to that.

I agree. It was overkill and the fact that he may have bled so heavily was because he was still alive. It's hard to understand that anyone could do that to another living being, especially a child.

I don’t believe LS could have been helped. But maybe.
It is my theory ONLY that 2 children born in the same home, but different birth order, personality/tempermant, or circumstances (ie 5 years apart when money or other stressors are different) can turn out different despite similar genes and parenting. Different punishments (which many parents seem to have a few 'go tos') would effect different children differently... if you took video games away from my brother and sister for fighting - it would break his heart, but she would go back to pick another fight the next day because she had not been punished and had no expectation of a punishment.

It really bugs me. I can clearly see the kids playing in that video. It is so much clearer and crisper to me. The important one. NADA. zip. zilch.....well I did see a little.

It was easy for me to accept he made it out of the vehicle. I am blind.

Sadly late forties, eye site already going. I guess see no evil.

I am still struggling to comprehend why she would kill him in his bedroom knowing there was going to be blood going everywhere for any other reason that it was a spur of the moment rage attack, but lots of things also point towards premeditaion.

  • #697
Thanks for sharing as I am keeping open the option that he may have gotten home afterall in that video. I havent seen this yet so will take a look as I really like Hughes analysis on things. He is really good at explaining why he thinks certain things are the way they are.
You’re very welcome. I’m certainly keeping an open mind...the investigation is ongoing as we hope for justice for Gannon. That vile stepthing should never walk the streets again. No question she’s guilty. She’ll be buried by a mountain of evidence that will be presented.

It’s impossible to say. This woman doesn’t think or behave like a normal person, or even a normal criminal.

The fact that she traveled across the country with his body, is indicative of the fact that she’s not at all risk-averse.

If she would do that, there’s just no telling what other chances she took, and incredibly stupid decisions she made.

Patrick Frazee planned to kill Kelsey, and make it look like she left on her own volition.

How did he do that? He beat her to death in her own home, leaving blood everywhere. He could have killed her any number of other ways, and possibly gotten away with it.

But that genius chose a baseball bat.

TS leaving her phone at home that morning, showed that this was part of a premeditated plot. That Google search supports that as well. I’m sure there is a hell of a lot more evidence than that though.

So a crime can be premeditated, and still show signs of rage. Both can be true at the same time.

Gray Hughes goes into detail pointing out a “shadow” on the truck video when LS arrives home in RD’s video. I’ve watched several, this is the only one that explained it enough to create reasonable doubt for me.
I’m catching up. And just read your post.
I loved looking at the video. Thanks for posting, but I'm not yet convinced. If the sun was facing the vehicle and at a slight angle, LS legs may have cause the shadow. The shadow seems to be as she's exiting the vehicle. I want to study it more though. Maybe I'll change my mind, IDK.
