HH unfortunately was used to cover up the murder of an innocent boy. I can feel for her, in the sense that she loves her mother, regardless of whether that mother deserves it. Cooperating with LE would be hard emotionally, but the cost of continuing to help cover for T would be far more destruction to her emotional health. I hope she will be able to face reality and move forward. MOO
It would have aided in ending the charade sooner which might have actually helped her mother.

Hearing LS is still talking from jail....it's a moot point.

It's really not hard to tell the truth. She can't change her past mistake of not cooperating but certainly she is in control of her future actions.

Even monsters can be loved, best to love them from afar, lest you become one yourself.

Still working on catching up, but..

One thing that is missing from the AA (for me) is swabs done on the vacuum cleaner and or carpet shampooer (if they owned one).

That kind of bothers me a little. If TS had HH buy carpet powder, she planned on using it for the clean-up, and IMO, having carpet powder and maybe even blood in the vacuum cleaner with TS prints all over it could be pretty damning.

Coconut scented carpet powder perhaps?

Yeah.

Crime or not, HH was there on the days surrounding the murder.

She’s one of the most important people in all of this, and although not vital to achieving her mom’s conviction, can provide a lot of clarity to the jury.

Is the case stronger to weaker with her her on the stand? If it’s stronger then you call her.

Little children have to testify against their parents all the time; it’s unfortunate but necessary. HH is not a little child, and is absolutely vital to understanding what happened here.

I couldn’t possibly care less about her “emotional distress.” I care about a conviction.

“Although our case will be a lot weaker, it might be upsetting to HH if we call her. Even if we somehow lose, atleast we were kind and compassionate.” -No prosecutor ever.

I hate asking questions when I don't know how to ask them because I don't know what I am talking about, so @MassGuy , help me here. While we believe that HH was buying cleaning products and while she MIGHT have figured out what the cleaning products were for, there have been no charges filed against her. Or...could there be?

HH is 17. She obviously loves her mother because well, it's her mother. How is she handled by prosecution in order to get her to testify against her mom? If they haven't charged her with anything, they can't offer her a deal. And since she is vital to the internal workings of the house, but she falls in that 17 year old crack, do the "child rules" apply to her testimony? And to make matters worse, by the time this goes to trial, she could be 18, then "adult rules" apply, or do the child rules apply since this all went down when she was 17.

Does this make sense to you at all??? Feel free to say, "No, OldLadyBlues!" and I will go away. o_O

Moo, Moo, I think

You’d have to prove that she knew what she was doing. Unwittingly helping someone get away with a crime, isn’t a crime.

Say she doesn’t cooperate, and refuses to testify. Even without filing charges, they can prevent her from taking the Fifth by granting her immunity for any crimes she may have committed.

That’s what I mean when I talk about “compelling her to testify.”

Until the Arrest Warrant the EPSO said it wasn't a criminal investigation.
HH probably getting her version from LS and her family supporters.
What HH she does from the AA on is the important part.[/QUOTE]

Maybe she thinks LE cant prove she moved GS to Florida. I honestly think she believes that her lies are facts and the facts are LE speculation and unless they have proof she took him to Florida she will have reasonable doubt in court We know LE is looking for tips on her in Florida. Maybe her attorneys have told her that as well and she just thinks they can come up with nothing proving she was there. My attempt at "LS logic"

Ok, not on subject I know. But...what does dbm mean? I'm still in a learning curve. Hey...I'm old. That's my excuse. :D

BBM

I care about both.
Mostly I want TS to rot in a cage the rest of her natural life, for what she did to that sweet little boy.
But I also care about her own kid, and how this has to have messed with her head and her heart in massive, unthinkable ways.
I mean, you can't just have your mom brutally beat/stab/shoot a child, and not have it rip you to shreds inside.
No matter what, that's her mom. That's going to take a lifetime to sort out, understand, and heal from. If ever.
Of course we don't know if she's still uncooperative, but I hope that's not the case.
I hope she has smart, savvy people around her who can guide her in the wisest choices, and justice for her little step brother.

If HH isn't in protective custody she may want to rethink her strategy as all those lies her mother tells may come back and bite her in the rear. I do not doubt HH may somehow come under suspicion of murder just by being there in much the same way George Anthony came under suspicion. I'm hoping in her heart she does what is the right thing to do for Gannon. We all know if the blame game starts the relationship ends just like if you tell the truth, the only difference is your conscience is clear one way and you have a lifetime of regrets the other way. moo

Well I think that was what I was trying to ask as I try to climb out of my rabbit hole. Happy Easter, @MassGuy and thanks!

I feel the exact same way. I hope that HH has a good support system to fall back on as this all unfolds, and after all is said and done too.

There are too many pages of the AA. o_O

AND saw your question.....
DBM = deleted by me
BBM = bolded by me
RSBM = respectfully snipped by me
that's all I can think of right now

Rumor has it there is an official list somewhere, I have yet to find it, so I am perpetually confused but those I learned real quick

DBM is used the most,
when quoting a post remember to stay away from the brackets (think of them as a little electric fence) otherwise if you delete them your post remains in the box and is weird

Sorry I didnt reply sooner but just getting back to be able to see your message.

I am perplexed why LE did not find her car while it was in Short Term parking at the airport. It seems that would have been a logical first place to look.

I am sure there are tons of cars in those lots and LE did mention in item 59 in the AA that they only did "limited searching" so maybe they had more pressing investigation to do with LS herself that maybe took them away from looking for her vehicle.

Your guess is also a possibility that with all of LS juggling of vehicles , maybe she somehow did not have it there until right before she returned the rental.

Its just frustrating to think that if they could have just found that car while it was in short term parking then they may have found Gannon in that vehicle or at least could have impounded it before she was able to clean it further.
Once suspected, it would seem most likely that GS was either in LS’s car or had been in her car - so it should have been first place to search once they suspected the runaway story was false. IMO calling in an 11 year old as a runway within 3-4 hours is pretty quick especially if you have no idea where he went (which friend). Most people are hesitant to call police and look foolish/overreacting.

At work and things are surprisingly slow (not complaining thou). ;) Does this sound like TS to anyone?
- Rule breaking - TSs prior run-ins with LE
- Deceitfulness (e.g. lying, conning others) – OK, I agree that this one does not apply to TS. She doesn’t lie ever nor does she conn others. She is as honest as they come...
- Impulsivity or poor planning (resulting in a parasitic lifestyle that is sustained by manipulating others) – A 32-page AA that is impossible to comprehend; at least for me. 2 rapes… rapist allowing her to go upstairs to greed L… a bloody board flying out the back of the truck… Sorry, too much for my little brain….
- Aggressiveness (with repeated assaults and fights) - I hope Gannon (and potentially others) didn’t have to endure repeated assaults and fights, but I think he (or they) likely were.
- Irresponsibility (failing to sustain a job or uphold financial obligations) – Hmm, isn’t she a model employee? Same school direct for 100+ years, right?
- Lack of conscience, remorse, and empathy.
In order to be diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder, the person has to manifest only 3 of the above…. I think TS meets them all.

- Arrogance – Check.
- A preoccupation with fantasies of power, beauty, love, brilliance, or money – I think this is where the military lifestyle and graduate degree comes in. Check.
- Convictions of “specialness”; a hunger for admiration, entitlement, exploitation and manipulativeness - CHECK in capital letters.
- Stunted empathy (an inability to “feel into” the other person) – Check.
- Envy – Likely check. She wants her best friend’s husband….
- Displays of contemptuousness – I would say “check”.
In order to be diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, the person has to manifest 5 of the above….

We have talked enough about Borderline Personality Disorder. In closing, not diagnosing, just sharing info. :)

I definitely agree with ASPD but would argue it’s BPD rather than NPD.
All Cluster B PDs share certain qualities, and the inability to show empathy is a common trait in all but Histrionic.
BPD would explain Tee’s highly unstable relationships with others & her ability to suddenly shift from idealization (great admiration and love) to devaluation (intense anger and dislike).
JMO. Will be interesting to see what comes out in trial.

Everybody worries about the reasons criminals do why they do ("criminal psychology"); which is part and parcel of figuring out how to flag them in the future by early detection. Don't even worry about any questions to the contrary. :D

Because she said "it's out by French Elementary. guys", IIRC. TS's mislead, and only TS's mislead. IMO.
Yes so easy to cruise by the school; also, why park there?

She doesn't seem to think before she speaks. It's as if her mouth moves faster than she can process the information in her brain....

What I don't understand is how no-one around her ever noticed this before.
Snipped

I think people have noticed before and most people distance themselves as soon as they figure it out. Anyone who doesn't, imo, already is used to a life of drama.

I suspect she had burned a lot of bridges in her life.

Opinion.
