Sorry, what LE leak? I missed that. And I thought that the 3 weapons being listed didn’t nec mean all 3 were used, no? With regard to PF, tho I did not follow that case, I heard about it, and that was a male, beating a blindfolded female I thought. Maybe yeah, if G was asleep that could have happened, but if she had a gun available why would she bother taking that messy major risk. I bet LE knows exactly how the blood splatter in BR happened. How could they not, right? The experts will know almost immediately just by looking at the splatter pattern. Those 3 are very distinctly different. We can’t really see much in those pix.
Yes, according to the Affidavit, LE determined that the blood stains on the walls are consistent with one or more blood spatter producing events, including gunshot, blunt force, or a stabbing.

This was determined before they found Gannon's body and the additional charges were made indicating two counts for each weapon used.

Hello, I am a first-time poster. I joined Web Sleuths to follow Gannon's case and read the first 16 threads verbatim, thinking I might eventually catch up. When LS was arrested and Gannon's body was found, I knew that was a futile effort.

I read the arrest affidavit, and what astounded me, if true, is that LS drove to the airport to pick up AS on Jan. 28 with possibly Gannon's body in the trunk of her Tiguan. Then she left the Tiguan in the short-term parking lot and rented a car to drive AS home. During the ride home with AS, how could she act worried, knowing Gannon was in the Tiguan's trunk back at the airport? How could she calmly drop AS off at home, make excuses, and then retrieve her Tiguan to dispose of Gannon's body in southern Douglas County that same day in the evening?

If LE is correct and Gannon was murdered after 2:15 p.m. Jan. 27, I conclude that the four-hour shopping trip was actually a cover for LS to scout potential burial spots for Gannon. How horrible to think LS took Gannon along for this purpose! He had no idea during that car ride that he would be murdered in just a few hours.

There were other incredible facts revealed in the affidavit, like the false rape allegations and the attempt to get a fake polygraph test. I would have loved to see LS's face when she found out the polygraph company refused to email the fake report because of the nature of her desired questions and answers.

Those are just a few of my thoughts after reading the arrest affidavit. LE still has a long way to go, getting ready to prosecute LS. The biggest thing LE has to prove is exactly how LS removed Gannon's body from Douglas County and took it to Florida. I'm sure you all have already discussed various ways she could have done this.

Now, I've got more reading to do.

I had to skip some pages to catch up, so I apologize if this was already posted.

Lifeless body of Gannon Stauch 'was in killer stepmom's car when she went to pick up his dad hours after murdering boy'

For those that missed Leigh Egan's latest article about LS. She interviewed her from jail on Wednesday. LS says she's innocent & has been framed :rolleyes:
LS claims that "90% of it (AA) is speculation." Of course it's speculation as she hasn't been tried yet...but it was enough to arrest her!
Her lawyers have finally gotten through to her & told her to STOP talking. She refused to talk any details about the case other than to say that she's innocent. I'm thinking that her silence is temporary...it would be a miracle for her to stop talking all together!

If you missed it here's the article:
EXCLUSIVE: Stepmom accused of killing Colorado boy Gannon Stauch tells CrimeOnline she’s innocent

Tricia will be discussing it live on Websleuths YouTube tonight!

Someone assure me that she can't possibly be granted bond!:eek::eek:
I mean the woman is charged with first degree murder of a child in her care!

Can anyone make sense out of her being allowed interviews while in jail?

I'm convinced TS wasn't necessarily 'unhappy' in the marriage. I believe the "searches" and other clues she dropped here and there were quite intentional, to an nth degree.

TS "freaked out" that Sunday evening to the point where she imposed significant injury upon Gannon; assault & battery and who knows what else.

TS desperately tried to come up with an excuse or story to explain away what she had done to Gannon but eventually, the only thing that made sense to her was that she had to 'disappear' Gannon.

She felt boxed in; she had no choice but to murder him.

She may or may not have resented having to be nurse-maid to "her" (LH's) children but I do not believe that was the catalyst. The catalyst was TS was in fear of getting kicked out of that moderately-upscale ~2400 sq. ft. house and she raged on Gannon for having ruined it. I believe it just may have been that simple. Occam's.
...razor. Yes. Exactly what my gut tells me too.

I knew it would be Spargo's name on the byline of that linked article before I even clicked on it.

He is nothing if not predictable.

My favorite line:

"There is no suggestion in the affidavit that either sister knew what happened to her brother, but cops believe Laina provided an interview to police."

Brilliant, Chris.

Its clearly someone else's blood they are talking about in the trunk of the Kia Rio. Affidavit #62 and #63.

Letecia Stauch Arrest Affidavit
LE has the ability to locate previous renters of that vehicle if necessary. The unknown blood found in that rental concerns me as something that could be used by the defense.

#72 of the AA states the receipt for the dollar store shoes vinegar was purchased. She likely sent HH to the dollar store to buy vinegar then sent a text adding on more things to buy.

TY .. This kept tapping at my brain all day trying to think if the new bottle of vinegar was speculation or fact. I was fixin to flip through the AA again until I just read your response.

How do I put my mind in such a state as to think I could understand the workings of the mind of a brutal murderess? I simply cannot. Yet I do try, abhorrent as that thought is.

I suspect beaten and/or stabbed to death, possibly during or shortly after arriving home that fateful day, after that 4 hour mystery ride.

I think he was dead, or near dead, in the bed of that pickup truck upon arrival home. I don't think he was in the cab.

And a racing murderess' mind immediately attempts to conjure a coverup story. Hence the shooting, and the concocted Edguardo story. I suspect the gunshot wound, if it occurred, may well have been after poor Gannon was already dead.

I guess it possible they arrived home, Gannon went downstairs, the monster beat him, shot him, and then stabbed him in a fit of rage, but I just don't see the order of events as such. I suspect beaten first, and hoping beyond all hope, Gannon fought back, and that is when she stabbed him. Then threw him in the truck, brought him home, maybe alive, maybe not. Either he goes downstairs on his own, or she takes him down there, to his bed, and shoots him there.

Any way you look at it, this is a woman who is truly sick, beyond the understanding of an average person, she is a sick, twisted, murderess. When I see her, I see one who has killed a boy, and that in and of itself is terrifying to me.

MOO

Spargo was an unknown to me ... and now I know better.

Thanks @MassGuy! I didn't think she stood a chance in he!!, but got worried when I saw the possibility mentioned in Leigh's article. Your assurance makes me feel much better! :)

Leigh is just quoting Letecia, the liar who lies.

Do not fall for LS. She wants to split the world into arguing factions, some of whom believe she is powerful and innocent.

That's what she does.

Don't worry, the judge has seen it many times.

He blocked me on Twitter during the Kelsey Berreth case, but I might go ahead and make another account so I can remind him how bad he sucks.

I think he returned home with LS, but the camera did not capture him.

Yes, my belief is they co-existed within that time before he was murdered.

I think ADT logged activity from GS and LS which will show them on different floors proving he made it home.

Possibly a door opening plus motion activity in the basement or two motion events.

Many of the door and motion events are LS running around cleaning up but not all of them.

I think he was sent to his room and murdered in his bed likely before little LS arrived home.

The blood outline of his head and torso makes me believe he was unable to move, he was dead. The soaking of the blood through mattress to floor, the light socket. The blood spatters. The missing bedding.

Nothing at this point will surprise. I am open to all theories. Just my interpretation from reading the AA.

I’m beginning to think your statement may be spot on. The ADT motion activity seemed important in the AA.

Bolded for sentence for clarification - Can you clarify bolded statement for me, please? The photos were so hard to figure out what I was seeing.

It may have just been a short phone call.

CS is a "journalist" in the same way that TS is a "teacher."

It's hard to see the bloodstains in the pictures but LE said that the location of the blood was believed to be where Gannon's head and torso were at the time he was attacked. The blood that soaked into the mattress where his head would have been indicated a significant head wound.
