That’s exactly right. I have heard though, from the Arias case, that they are paid quite well actually. Maybe not like Oj’s lawyers, but very well. But when you get some whacko for a client, it just isn’t worth it.

I like that LS got two women to defend her. She would really try to manipulate a man. And I am not suggesting a man would fall for it. I just remember Arias trying to manipulate everyone from her lawyer to the jailers.

If either of the female lawyers are mothers, they will hate her. IMO.

P.S. the State will pay for any experts so they would definitely be able to give her the best representation.

I think if she had a male attorney, she would claim he sexually assaulted her or claim sexual harassment before all was said and done. She’s got a history that precedes her and fantasies to fulfill.

Good morning. Here for Gannon! Hoping everyone is well this morning. Sick of this “new normal”.

We are sick of it because it isn’t normal. We have taken for granted we live in the greatest country on earth. We have been fighting and squabbling for years and it had gotten ugly. Maybe now is some time for healing and being good to each other. I hope this quarantine is not the new normal. I really enjoy my freedom.

ETA: of course we can still squabble over our thoughts on these cases.

Trying so hard to keep up but my oldest daughter has Covid-19 and I have been scatterbrained since her diagnosis two weeks ago. I am getting less fearful since she is seemingly getting better. Fever is less but the cough sounds so bad! I have to skim and skip. Just waiting for the next court date. Hope everyone else is staying well!

But to your point, I don’t see how a candle burning a carpet could cause murder. Cannot see that. Actually,I do not believe a candle would set carpet on fire. JMO

ITA. Any male around her should make sure never to be alone with her to protect himself against false allegations.

If she wasn't awful enough to kill a child (can't get worse than that), she also falsely cries rape, which is damaging to victims who really are raped and not believed. And she accused an imaginary Hispanic man and an African-American man, by design, imo. False accusations are dangerous - people have gone to jail because of false accusations. Doubt she cares.

She swings a dangerous sword around her constantly, causing damage and chaos, imo.

The murder is so awful it takes attention away from the fact she is awful in other ways too.

I did speed read the AA and can only recall a reference where in February LS told AS that Gannon had burned himself with a candle and got a blister that bled. If someone could point me to the video reference in the AA (page # would be great), we can review it and hopefully have an answer for everyone soon.

For instance, if you would want to know how to fix the carpet you would search for "repair burnt carpet" or something similar. I wonder if she is psychotic enough to "talk" to Google and look for a reply as if someone was answering her. Her complaints / searches about her husband are the same.

Someone on this thread suggested her searches were for memes - and, to me, that fits with the way she searches.

I just truly feel that something he said or did sent her over the edge into explosive anger just the same as what occurs whenever we hear about grave child abuse cases. (Absolutely not placing blame on the child here. I feel I need to say that. ) I just don't know if I believe she physically was abusive for any length of time prior to January 26th. I feel sure that she was most likely verbally and emotionally and mentally and psychologically abusive probably not only to him but also to the girls. GS did not live with them for a very long period of time so the world that he knew consisted of the life point of view that he learned from living with his mother. Anything that he experienced while living with his father that was different from what he had known all these years would be a curiosity to him and there would be a period of adjustment. With TS being very highly self-focused and most likely obsessed with everything about her own daughter I would guess she had little or no patience for any questioning of anything about the way she ran things in her household. I feel like this was the crux of an ongoing year and a half long battle causing tension and apparently her unhappiness. Add to that the fact that she was now taking second place to her husband's biological children. Add financial stress and ultimately the denial of a job due to her unsavory history.
January 26th an unexpected explosion of emotion occurred in that home and a grown woman was ill equipped to take responsibility for her own actions to get medical help for an innocent child.
Regardless of ALL the theories discussed here or anywhere, TS did a horrific thing using whatever weapon she used and whatever means, and she took the life of an innocent boy because she couldn't be labeled a child abuser.
I don't want to think about what she really physically did. I mean it will all come out eventually and we all get to choose whether we want to read the gory details or not.
The bottom line is she had a choice to save his life at 10:00 that morning on January 27th, 2020, and she did not.

The most chilling part of this murder is that Gannon was completely helpless in the hands of a monster !
She could do anything she wanted to him and I'm thinking based on evidence that she emotionally tormented him as well.
I'm sensing from what's been said of him that he wanted to please people and was a loving child.

I fear that he had no one to turn to; and I mean this respectfully.
Did his teachers notice anything ?
His friends ?
Had they tried to sound the alarm ?
Just that this might have been prevented !

Yeah, I think she just made up that story of the candle burning the carpet because she intended to get rid of it. (or to back up her story that Gannon ran away because he feared being punished) It would also explain getting rid of the sheets and blankets. She claimed in a text that she and Gannon had to cover themselves with blankets and 'when they came back in' there was blood all over them and the blankets, or some crazy thing that made no sense. She also used the fire story to try to say that Gannon peeled off his "burns" and wiped blood on the wall.

LE stated there was no smell of smoke when they were in the basement.

She abandoned the story altogether when she later told her fantasy rape story.

ITA -- also think this explains why the alleged video from SM was never reported elsewhere or picked up by MSM.
