Everyone is entitled to a defense, even the worst of criminals. Think of the alternative, if we didn't provide for a defense, then LE and the courts could just say, "you're guilty, go to jail!" to anyone they felt like, whether guilty or not. No, we don't want that.

The defense team isn't just defending the criminal but making sure the judicial process is fair and conducted properly and transparently for everyone. And the yucky criminals benefit. (And we all do, as a society, in the bigger picture.)

Thanks for saying the rest of what Gitana usually tells us. All true.

Two hours late to her interview, and she stopped to wash her car during that time.

A rapist had kidnapped Gannon, but no rush. Or something.

Priorities.

I agree on priorities. I always floss more before I go to the dentist. I eat right for a couple of weeks before my physical. I understand her getting the car washed before going for an interview because that is what all reasonable innocent people do--best foot forward and all that rot---second impressions count. Why am I not surprised that she took this action but didn't have the sense to know that she was being tracked? Yeesh. The woman is a stone cold killer.

I think I mention this, as LS brought it up in her Cousin It interview.

She says that "people are saying" that she murdered Gannon on Sunday. Sunday night. I don't know who "these people" are but I think it was Albert's and Landen's family members. So she wants to give proof that he's still alive late Sunday night and actually calls Harley over to the camera where Harley is confused about which timeframe she's supposed to say she "saw Gannon."

So it makes me wonder, with LS so stridently insisting Gannon was still alive on Sunday night...was he still alive but severely injured? She tries to use the video, she uses the Burger King run and a presumed shared meal among Harley, Laina and Gannon (but not her) to show Gannon came back from GoG (neighbors were already posting about the possibility that she killed him there).

I looked into bludgeoning splatter patterns in non-fatal cases and found that quite a bit of blood can be generated with blows from a blunt object, but victim survived. There are some pretty gruesome cases where victim is left for dead, but crawls away and survives to tell what happened. Also, if the blood is primarily from scalp wounds, those stop bleeding relatively quickly. It makes me think of JonBenet and her inch skull fracture. That was a single major blow from something like a golf club or hammer, swung with great force while she lay on concrete (IMO). No blood on the exterior of her skull to speak of, she was dying from brain bleeding when she was strangled.

The cases with bludgeoning/blood spatter include the Kathleen Peterson case. Autopsy says it took her 90 minutes to bleed out from severe scalp lacerations (at the back of her head, so underlying vascular system was richer).

So I guess I'm leaning toward LS goes ballistic on Gannon on Sunday night about something (the candle story is probably made up). I don't know if that event caused some or all of the bleeding - but the cap on his head and his near inability to walk make me think that it did. Then she finishes him off on Monday afternoon, either with more bludgeoning (hard to do on a mattress though), a firearm (which if the bullet was still inside his head, there wouldn't be a ton of bleeding) or some other method as yet unknown.

She didn't appear to sleep much on Sunday night. I doubt she slept much on Monday night either. By Tuesday night she was panicking and was likely still sleep deprived through Wednesday even if she did get some rest. Logic was long gone and she needed to organize her thoughts by writing them down.

She should have just gone to the doctor and picked up a strong prescription on Wednesday. Probably even by Tuesday. Then got a lawyer. But she was in full blown panic mode by Tuesday evening thus all of the bad lies coming out to cover her track.

Did the road worker have to open the suitcase to find Gannon in it or had it broken open itself and the worker just happened to realize what he was looking at?

Protocol for highway department employees and contractors is to call the Highway State Patrol when they encounter a suspicious container, etc. on or near the roadway in the course of doing their business. Not to say that GS body was not exposed or if the worker determined otherwise what was inside. Personally, I think he probably waited with the suitcase until authorities arrived.

GS and/or the suitcase was thrown off a river bridge. Since there had been flooding in that location earlier, I wonder if the suitcase was ever in the river and water receded or if the suitcase landed on the bank. I hope more details come out of Florida before the trial.

And just think about how fricken cold that is. She brutally murdered him, then was able to post photographs and videos of Gannon online.

No remorse, no empathy, and you’re right, cruel as hell.
And that's in the open. What went on behind closed doors?

I'm reading about the weather around Pace, FL last winter and I'm wondering if the Escambia River was flooded when LS chose that bridge? I can only find photos of
I-90 when GS body located. I'm amazed that GS body was located!
If at one point they knew "she stopped for 5 minutes" then with a tracker on the rental car, couldn't it just as well showed where she stopped for 5-10 minutes on that bridge??

Here is data from the nearest upstream station (about 10 miles upstream), with records since 1978.

Average gage height for the month of March is 4.7 feet above the measuring point.
Average flow for March is 11,500 cfs.

When did she leave Gannon under the bridge?

eta: longer time window on graphs
IIRC, LE asked for anyone that had seen T in Pace Florida Feb3-Feb5 to report sighting. So LE must have narrowed her presence there to that window.

Thank God he was found !!!
Even though I prayed he would be brought home to his mom and dad and that he was deceased, I am thankful they found him for many reasons. JMO

For those of us that can't go to work, even "from home", we salute you....and a bit envious of your over-worked condition :)

The "One day someone will wish they treated you differently" search is creepy, under the circumstances. These searches happened on the 25th. She sure as heck seems upset!
And it looks like she wanted a meme to post on fb. Each time was jabbing at LH.

Is this on the original? There are many claims it is not and was later added on by someone. I believe that is why the moderater was wanting only an original video posted on here.
It was on the original.

You are absolutely right. I always thought that was a strange response from AS -- not all that natural given the circumstances. IMO he was trying very hard to give her more rope and was most certainly working with LE.

^^^I agree with you @wyome! AS was definitely giving her more rope through this statement AND passively pouring water on her fire. Narcissists HATE IT when someone doesn't engage in their attempt at drama & gaslighting!! It was a very telling response from AS IMHO!

I am exhausted. The ONLY reason I love the OT paycheck is because my daughter is getting married (hopefully) in July and I need to help pay for the wedding.
We are hoping the wedding in July can still happen, but it is all up in the air so we are winging it, but I need to be sure I can help pay for it, especially, if it is a last minute -Go ahead. I need to be prepared LOL
Although, I cant go shopping for a mother of the bride dress as the shops are all closed and she is getting married on our lake here.
I informed her I can "Bling" up my skirted bathing suit if all else fails
PS--she was NOT impressed LMAO

Well if there is one thing we can count on LS for it's to do the most ridiculous, moronic thing in just about any situation!

I don't believe it has been discussed in any news outlet.
Only that a suitcase was found by a road worker
then we learned the suitcase had Gannon inside.

I think LS is stupid enough to take out a life insurance policy on G by herself and think no one would ever find out. Hopefully LE will contact every major carrier and see if she has one or more. They actually have a national database now I think. I read about this woman who sued companies 49 times in “slip n fall” cases to fuel her gambling addiction to the tune of over $800,000. In the past if it was below a certain amount it didn’t trigger red flags, I guess. Maybe this was T’s way of “finding money to get away from a bad situation.” She probably thinks she deserves it as pay for watching kids.

They could use that to prove premeditation if she did take life insurance out on him. MOO

A road construction worker found Gannon by chance. It's entirely possible FL LE had been alerted about Gannon, but it wasn't LE who found him.

jmo
Yes, I’m aware it was a road construction worker who found him. There are also hundreds of kids missing. Glad they were able to connect the dots so quickly that it was possibly Gannon, considering he had been deceased for 7 weeks. AS and LH are lucky in that respect, because TS would never have told them. MOO
Remains found in Florida tentatively ID'd as Gannon Stauch, sheriff says

That's a good question. The Patrick Frazee trial was highly publicized also and they didn't move for a change of venue IIRC, BUT they did provide PF with a special private tent for coming and going from the courthouse. o_O
The El Paso County Courthouse has a side entrance, I believe it’s underground for police, judges, etc to enter through. I’d imagine the prisoners enter through this door too. I have been inside the court room there and have seen them bring in prisoners from a separate, back door into the courtroom. The door is adjacent to the judges bench. Then they sit in the “jury section” same place we saw LS and her attorney sit at the last court appearance.
