A small amount might seem like the jackpot for someone like Tee. I highly doubt that was her motive but the wording on the witness list does make one wonder. What is that about?

Gannon Stauch

C/o Next Of Kin Of Gannon Stauch
Unknown
^^sbbm

I think you are referring to GS and how his name appears on the endorsed witness list. This is legal procedure between the parties and has nothing to do with Life Insurance or alleging that GS next of kin is beneficiary of his life insurance.

The endorsed witness list is part of the court process to show that one party (Prosecutor) is giving the other party (Defense) "notice" that they MAY call a particular witness at trial. This is done so that the other party can't try to stop a witness from testifying on the basis that the party is "surprised."

On the endorsed witness list (exchanged between the parties), it is the norm for the victim's Name to appear c/o Next of Kin of the victim.

For example, see victim Kelsey Berreth below.

Remember Zenaida "Zanny" Fernandez-Gonzalez who sued Casey Anthony for ruining her good name?

Let us hope there exists one person named Eguardo somewhere in this world and he can be convinced to sue dear T for defamation!
:);) That would be something.

Who'd a thunk it? A person actually named Zenaida.

Seriously I would love for Eguardo to exist and SUE. Nothing would surprise me at this point. I bet LS would be the most surprised. The fig newton of her sick imagination coming to life.

Cue Eguardo! Any minute now. Waiting, waiting, still waiting just like Letecia waiting for her apology !

I wondered this as well. For the exact same reason!

Sorry I guess I'm just stupid. Won't happen again.
I'm not sure why you've responded with self dismissal? I sincerely apologize if you were offended as it certainly was not my intent.

aha! I get it now. I read your post a few times and was unsure.

Sometimes I just need a visual.

I did not follow Kelsey. I have never seen it before. Now wanting to retract all my posts re: my ransom theory.

I can scratch that one off my list of ponderings. Thank you for taking the time to clarify.

Anyone else think there could be a life insurance policy involved??

I've always been puzzled over the listing on the witness that's listed as:
Gannon Stauch
c/o Next of Kin of Gannon Stauch

Then I got to thinking, is this referring to a life insurance policy that LS had taken out on Gannon that LE discovered? Typically the benefit for a child is very little, but knowing how stupid & evil LS is I wouldn't put it past her! This would speak to motive & premeditation!

MOO & speculation
I wondered what that meant as well. But also I was thinking that if he was severly injured then the next of kin would have needed to make medical decisions. ???

@Seattle1 explained this to me at the top of the thread.

It is standard procedure to list the victim this way on the witness list. It was done the same way in the Kelsey Berreth case.

All this time it has bothered me and it is nothing.

I'm wondering if dumping the su
I'm convinced finding Gannon in Florida wasn't a random thing and look forward to hearing just how it all came down, probably with T advancing from jurisdiction to jurisdiction like a piece on a game board with LE watching all the way.

When I ponder the hundreds of isolated wooded areas she passed before finally throwing the suitcase and Gannon over the bridge, her stupidity overwhelms me anew.

She gets my vote for the all-time dumb-as-a-brick award with sincere apologies to runners-up, smile-for-the-camera-Chris Watts and Patrick Frazee.

I've thought the same thing, why didn't she find an unpopulated area and bury the suitcase. I feel like paranoia had taken over and she was worried about being traced so she needed landmarks for her dump sites. If she felt LE was getting close then she could pick up the suitcase again and move it somewhere else. Escambia Bridge has a billboard and a side road where she could park and retrieve the suitcase if need be. Maybe??? I don't know.. it sounds crazy but I'm trying to think TS crazy here. lol

That's because it's really late and the bats start flying around in our heads...much like T.

I remember Gerber baby food company selling them, they still may.
Gerber still offers this but it's a whole life policy -- they call it Grow Up Plan.

I bet she’s going to try to act crazy in jail and claim insanity if the opportunity arises and her back’s against the wall. It would be right in line with all of the other weird impulsive stuff she’s done.

That would be hysterical. We know for a fact she was sane when she killed Gannon, as she proved by her actions after the fact that she knew what she was doing, and knew what she was doing was wrong.

Her actions in the interrogation room would render any further efforts futile, as that was as transparent as it gets (faking a medical emergency).

So good luck with that TS.

The racing, scattered thought patterns she’s shown with her actions and in her interviews could be a symptom of bipolar. If she was being treated for any mental disorder, she could say she got paranoid and thought G was X, Y, or Z, and she freaked out and killed him to protect the other kids. I wouldn’t put anything past her. I’m sure we’ve just seen the tip of the iceberg of her crazy schemes.

Does the DSM-5 list Quad Polar 'cause this girl is out there?!

She’s constantly running all kinds of potential plot lines in her head, it seems. Imagine what weird stuff she can come up with after sitting alone in the pokie with just her thoughts, for months on end.

Bi-polar diagnosis doesn't qualify as 'insanity' in a death trial. She would have to be delusional and unable to recognise right from wrong. But she knew it was 'wrong' because she hid evidence and made up a bunch of lies to fend off the police.
Bye Felicia...

Yes, I know, but that won’t stop her from trying. Her mind is no doubt ruminating as we speak.

Life insurance:
Once upon a time, I had a $2500 child rider on my term life insurance policy. Single mom, no child support, just something to help out my minor kids in case something happened to me. My son (also a Sonic fan) died the night of his GF's HS graduation. They paid double because he wore his seat belt. Sigh... it *is* a lot of money when you live paycheck to paycheck. But believe me, I'd pay that many many times over to have him back.

Justice for Gannon, and Landon, and Albert, and Laina.

I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I agree that a payout of insurance can seem like a lot of money but the cost of a child's death is far greater. Time does not heal the loss of a child.

I don't think there was insurance on Gannon. I think he died at the hands of his abuser, a person who have abused him on more than one occasion and was inching to the point of no return over time.

Many abusers (in households with more than one child) target a specific child. Gannon was her target. Why? I have a few reasons. I think he was the closest thing to AS that she could harm. I think his story of triumph over being a micro-premie was competition for attention that she wanted focused on her. I think Gannon did have some residual issues due to his early birth and she hated being on clean up duty. I think he was getting older and pre-teens can be more annoying as they struggle for independence. I think having had company (grandma) meant that the kids showed love and excitement for the things that happened during that visit----after the company left, the kids probably wanted T to be paying attention to them, interacting with them which meant she was ON DUTY once again and she hated that. I am sure that Gannon loved that attention and stated as much, which is quite natural but it burned in his stepmother's craw.
