#LeteciaStauch has no mask. Both deputies are wearing them. We've heard complaints for months now from defense counsel about lack of PPE for inmates.

says masks are contraband because metal strips can be used as weapons. Also, there's a shortage.

Something about the evil look of LS in court reminded me of Isabella Yun Mi Guzman as she was also sat in court, displaying the same obnoxious behaviours. Link below, this case was also in CO.

Isabella plead not guilty by reason of insanity and this was accepted. However, the below snippet from the article is interesting and suggests to me that she did know right from wrong.

After the killing, police say Guzman fled the home. She went to a woman's restroom at a nearby H Mart, washed her hair in the sink and changed her clothes.

They say she told employees that she had been raped in Denver and asked them not to call police, because they would send her back home and she was in fear of her father.

When police tracked Guzman down the next day, she told them they had the wrong person. She said she was Samantha Gonzales from Cincinnati, Ohio. Police held up her ID card, but the teen said, 'It looks like me, but it's not.'

I hope an insanity plea isn’t given or accepted in LS’s case but based on the above, I wouldn’t rule it out completely.

Sorry if it seems like I’m flogging a dead horse with this, JMO.

NEW: Defense on Thursday filed a sealed motion raising issue of #LeteciaStauch's competency. Judge says it doesn't have enough info for him to rule. He is required to order that she be evaluated for competency.

This is what I was wondering, if she's mentally competent to stand trial. I suspect not at this time. She's not legally insane, but mentally incompetent imo.

TS falls below the lowest bar of human decency but no way does she rise to the threshold for insanity. Shatbit crazy, but no way is she clinically sane. Being a compulsive drama mama is a defect; it shouldn't be a defense.

See, I suspect all her actions since her arrest were carefully orchestrated to get to this point. I think she’s just evil and conniving. In the original AA it says during a phone call she told the lady she was speaking with that she just tells AS whatever because she knows he won’t believe her anyway.

However, decomposition has hampered a Florida medical examiner's effort to complete the autopsy, so no report available, Allen says. He says local expert is also in possession of molars taken from remains. Those will be studied w/i 2 weeks.

That’s a wrap on the #LeteiciaStauch hearing. Two big take-aways. One, she will be evaluated for competency, potentially introducing months of delays in case. Two, a jawbone found in FL has been ID as #GannonStauch, prosecutor says.

What? No report at all?

That makes no sense - even when there are hardly any remains at all, there is still an autopsy and report of their findings, even if there is not much to find. Am I wrong? Is this normal? I've never heard of something like that. Even Caylee Anthony who WAS spread by wildlife had an autopsy and autopsy report. Gannon, to our knowledge, was contained in a suitcase. Does this mean that not *ALL* of him was in the suitcase? Was he dismembered after all?!?

The escape attempt, new charge and competency hearing request are not really that surprising, but all this time and NO autopsy report is big news to me - and I'm worried that is a bad thing.
