I find comfort in remembering Gannon rather than thinking of the evil, she-devil LS. Her trial can't get here soon enough.

Is this good news?
I’m very happy that Mr. Allen is now our new DA. !(Although he was already the lead prosecutor and Deputy DA) . I definitely want him to stay in charge over this case and eventual trial. I know he is very passionate about getting justice for Gannon and his family. Is this good news?
It's believed he was trained by outgoing DA Dan May so, in comparison to his opponent, I'd say it's a very good thing. Is this good news?

A state physiatrist is unually not your friend. MooI hope so.
He's not Dan May, sadly but they don't make many Dan Mays any more. He is utterly amazing as a human and as an investigator and prosecutor, a shining light.
I think this boy is sharp enough to see this case through.. will be interesting to watch how he chooses to handle the 'psychiatric aspects' and indeed how her defense will present them.
I already hear in my jumbled soggy head the scene where the state psychiatrist rips her defense to shreds and calls it as it is, I can even see her face while he does it and I think she will try for revenge at that point... shackled or not.
Has this person ever been called out for what she is or called upon to take responsibility for her actions? Like, ever?
Feels like some part of her, a large part believes she will not be held accountable.
This prosecutor has the skills to handle her I imagine.
More than enough following a lengthy ramble of sleep deprived thoughts.
He is good enough.
This case could be the last death penalty case the state of Colorado will ever have. I can’t think of any other cases that would qualify for it right now, I hope someone will correct me if I’m wrong. With it being held in El Paso County there’s a decent chance the jury would opt for it if she’s found guilty (a lot of conservatives here).
However even if that happens I doubt it would ever be carried out. The governor commuted 3 sentences for people already on death row when it was abolished, I’m sure he’d do the same for this one. JMO MOO
