My fat had a party and invited friends.

I wonder how TS is enjoying jailhouse food. I hope she's filling out nicely.

Actually I hope everything about her stay is uncomfortable. Because everything she's done is unconscionable.

I'm wondering if this hearing is going to happen? I see nothing for her in the court site.
In my notes:
Prosecutor Martha McKinney makes a motion: If state hospital finds Stauch incompetent, McKinney wants judge to halt immediate restoration treatment, to allow for second evaluation at prosecution's request. Stauch's evaluation will be at Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo. Likely to take 90 days at least. July 17th at 9am for next meeting after mental health evaluation.

I don't think so, Niner. That was qualified as 90 days in a normal world, and IIRC, they mentioned that with c-19, it might not happen until September.

And yes in the same hearing the Judge made 9/8 as the review hearing date to receive the competency reports. Just was wondering about that 7/17 date - maybe just lawyers?

It is at 9 am on 7/17. Shoutout to Plunder.

I just realized something. WHY did she dump his body in a place where he would obviously be found??? She drives over 1000 miles to just put him in a very public place! WHY??? Either she thought that was a bridge with water and gators under it, or she got spooked by something and had to dump it fast, or someone else, who didn’t care if she got caught, dumped it.

Oh, no!!! I don't want everyone thinking this when I post the Voodoo donuts photo I downloaded.

Guess I'll wait a week or two before I upload it again.

At any rate - today's goodies, courtesy of Krispy Kreme.

This is cruel and unusual punishment. And I’m starving at 4 in the morning. These look SO good.

Could’ve been for either of those reasons. I think it was because who would think to look in Florida for him when he disappeared in Colorado? Not me. She has no ties (that I know of) to that area either. And putting him exactly where she did fits her m.o. of doing stuff half “butted”. She got lazy. JMO

If LE confiscated her phone at the interview, did she run out and get a new one? She would’ve almost certainly needed a new phone for GPS to get from CO to FL to SC. Even if she didn’t need it for GPS (If whatever vehicle she used had that feature) she just would’ve needed a phone, period. She’s a talker, a social media user and that’s a long drive without a phone. Unless somebody was with her who had one.

Found Deceased - CO - Gannon Stauch, 11, Colorado Springs, El Paso County, 27 Jan 2020 **ARREST** #47

6/4/20 Update: A new case #2020CR3170 - Solicitation to Commit Escape has been filed. The matter will be taken up at the 6/5 status conference. According to the affidavit, Stauch is classified as “Segregation from All,” meaning she will not be moved around jail with other inmates. Stauch is also classified as a full restraint escape risk, meaning she will not be transported outside of the facility without full restraints being placed on her wrists and ankles and her wrists will be secured to a belt around her waist. Escape: Advisement hearing on 6/5/20. And status hearing on Gannon’s murder on 6/5/20 both at 9am. Divorce: Setting hearing on 6/18. No update as of 7/17/20.
6/5/20 Update: Kathryn Strobel, Stauch's lead attorney, acknowledges new charge of solicitation of escape, and waives further reading and advisements. Sounds like she's officially charged with that count. Ms. Chalmers has withdrawn as defense counsel. Her bond on that charge is $2k. Judge Greg Werner stays all proceedings. The competency evaluation will introduce weeks, if not months, of delays in Stauch's murder case, as state psychiatrists assess whether she is mentally fit to be prosecuted. Defense on Thursday (6/4/20) filed a sealed motion raising issue of Stauch's competency. Judge says it doesn't have enough info for him to rule. He is required to order that she be evaluated for competency. Authorities here have received a jawbone from remains found in Florida, and a prosecution expert ID'd it as Gannon. "It is Gannon," Allen says. But, prosecution still doesn't have autopsy report. However, decomposition has hampered a Florida medical examiner's effort to complete the autopsy, so no report available, Allen says. He says local expert is also in possession of molars taken from remains. Those will be studied within 2 weeks. Judge schedules a return hearing for Sept. 8 at 1:30 p.m. to receive competency report.
6/9/20 Update: The defense team's request for a competency evaluation was granted during court proceedings Friday, meaning Letecia Stauch could be moved to the state hospital in Pueblo as soon as this week (6/8 thru 6/12/20). "The defendant is going to be evaluated for competency, which means that she will be evaluated to see if she understands the proceedings, the nature of the charges, the role of people in the courtroom including her defense council, prosecution and the judge," Deputy District Attorney Michael Allen.
6/12/20: People's motion for in camera review of Dept. of Human Resources documents; People's motion to quash defense subpoenas duces tecum directed to CO. Springs Police Dept. & CO Bureau of Investigation; Defense response to People's motion to quash defense SDT to CSPD & CBI; Defense notion of motion raising issue of competency; Defense motion to withdraw & for substitution of counsel (withdraw Kimberly Chalmers to Colette LeBeau). Notice of service of collateral materials to CO Mental health institution at Pueblo; order for evaluation of in-custody defendant; Defense order for competency evaluation.
6/15/20 Update: After seeking approval from Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice Nathan B. Coats, Fourth Judicial District Chief Judge William Bain announced today that jury trials will resume on a limited basis in El Paso County the week of July 6, 2020.

. Is it a closed court or will reporters be allowed in
At the last hearing they allowed one reporter from local TV and one from the local newspaper, so I’m hoping we will see the same today. I keep checking Twitter to see. I might @ one of them and ask!
