Your post is a heartbreaker...but I thank you.
You’re very welcome. This is probably the most heartbreaking case I’ve ever followed, and the trial hasn’t even started. What happened to poor Gannon should never happen to another child...but it will. That’s a heartbreaker in itself.

The strength that both of Gannon’s parents possess is beyond admirable. May Gannon finally Rest In Peace, knowing that he is going home to his family.

This is truly the saddest case I have ever followed. There was no reason but revenge on Al for the murderer to do what she did. None! How can the prosecutor even tell the jury what a horrible person she is? Are there any words?
I hope the prosecutor found a lot of emails and texts showing her for what she is.

Quite a steep price to pay. The documents were already scheduled to be released after the family had the opportunity to review them. :(

*sigh*
Thank you all for the updates. I've been on vacation and didn't even boot up my computer at all last week.
But still here and following. I deleted FB about 2 months ago or so (too toxic) so I have missed Landen and Al's posts.
I'm still filled with much rage toward LS and much pain and sadness for Gannon and his family. Praying for justice.

The charge is "official misconduct" by a municipal employee.
SF was issued a citation for the misdemeanor.
She could face between three months and 364 days in jail or a fine of between $250 and $1,000 or both if convicted, according to a statement from the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Farstveet will be prosecuted in the 17th Judicial District, where she worked.

Thanks @Niner.

SF's 7/27/20 docket was scheduled as "Disposition Hearing."

I believe this is where the DA decides whether or not they have sufficient evidence to go to trial (or SF take plea, if one even offered).

Given the next date in October is pretrial conference, I wonder if they might be using the employee's alleged official misconduct to set an example and send a message to others in the digital world age. MOO

I agree. I also believe they are making sure the taxpayers know how seriously they take this incident.
