In my state we can’t seat a jury (one judge and county is experimenting with zoom for jury selection) and without that we can’t have criminal trials - I don’t know what CO has in place to work around this issue - we have some locals so perhaps they can chime in?

Also, Scott Reisch is in this area - maybe a question on one of his YouTube videos would get a good answer.

True.... was just speaking on emotion .. sorry ... but you are right
No apology needed. I get it, honestly I do. *hugs*

This murderer makes my blood boil: hiding behind her hair, telling non-sensical lies in a lame attempt to cover her scrawny a$$, pointing the finger at Gannon's mother, dumping Gannon like a piece of trash, trying to escape custody, etc. etc. ad nauseum.

I still can't fathom how most murderers think they are so strong when they are taking the lives of their vulnerable victims, and then are such snivelling cowards when they're caught out.

Oops, forgot to include other charges from 2001 plus a couple other years. Looks like possibly two separate threat charges?

Sheesh! I wonder whether Al knew of her past and believed she was rehabilitated, or whether he had no idea. I’m in no way suggesting that he turned a blind eye, quite the opposite. I don’t believe for one second that he would have let LS in to his life and the lives of his children if he believed she was capable of this. His “hey buddy” texts to Gannon suggest to me that he felt something was wrong, parents intuition. I’m just wondering whether on top of losing his son, he has also had to deal with finding out all of this info about his wife and her past.

If sleuthing has taught me one thing, it’s to make full use of my amateur sleuthing skills to look up any prospective dates, prior to dating them. It’s sad to have to do this, but time and time again we are forced to realise the evil that exists in the world.

omg omg that is soooo true geez I totally agree ... I feel for AL he was blind sided like many other men and women just wish he would have figured it out soon enough to intervene

In a way I hope Al really was blindsided by the 🤬🤬🤬 the murderer turned out to be. If he had inklings or red flags and rationalized them away, ultimately at the cost of Gannon's life, he would feel even worse.

Either way, I am in no way blaming him. If being a member of Websleuths has taught me anything is that it's human nature for us to not want to believe the worst about people. How many times have we imagined the worst scenarios about crimes only to find out the details are even worse than we could imagine.

The Robsonian newspaper archive has info on Letecia Lynn Hardin/Hunt age 5, 10, 11 up.

My trial ended for the paper and I'm not paying for it lol. Dig in.

I've already gathered that LS is from North Carolina and had connections to Lumberton area. Not that it makes any difference but is she of American Indian decent ?
