Was the autopsy report ever issued? Would LS be privy to it?

It was announced at the Sept 8 hearing the autopsy was complete and both the state and the defense have copies of the report as is required.

Yep and as I keep saying (in case reporters check this thread hint hint), it seems like the reporters would have requested it based on the CO public info laws and CO media’s aggressive stance toward pursuing public records. So I would expect to see reporting on it soon or hear complaints from CO media.

The defense would like the review hearing to be rescheduled after Dec. 14, saying it will give the doctor enough time to complete Stauch’s evaluation.

Nothing in the court site yet.... So could be on or after 12/14.

Finally -- the Court read the motions and applied the law just as our WS readers have done and there will be no recording of LS competency evaluation, and the prosecution may NOT watch the first recorded evaluation.

Needless to say, competency evaluation #2 will not be recorded.

ETA: A simple interpretation of the statute is generally correct -- just as the "check the box" order omitted any audio/video recording optional instructions. MOO
