Remember when the search teams were at that one place for so long, where they were sifting, there was just one way traffic because of the search, and it seemed to go on for a few days? Was that ever declared an evidence-containing site? It was at a place with each house having huge acreage, but the searching was by the road. Like an expensive development with pillars and a gate.

Yes, that is the location where LE believed Gannon had been left, possibly dispersed by animals (the four legged kind) but that was before his body was found in FL. Now we know that, after that backwards interview, she drove to that location to retrieve his body, en route to FL.

I have been out on the road. I can't fathom why she chose that spot, very close to a driveway....

I think in this general area is where the sock and the bloody board were found. Along that fenceline remains a blue bow.

Gannon will not be forgotten.

But she will.

On Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, #LeteciaStauch and her daughter Harley rented a budget van early morning. She also purchased a Verizon cellphone. They have financial information as evidence on the route to Florida. Just after midnight on Feb. 4, they arrive in Pensacola.

Investigators obtained a receipt for a Candlewood Suites hotel that shows Letecia Stauch checked out of the hotel later on Feb. 4.

Gannon's body was later found near Pensacola. The distance between the body recovery site and the hotel in Pensacola that Letecia stayed in was 3.3 miles, Clark said.

Stauch stayed in a hotel three miles from the site where Gannon's body was later found, Clark says. She and her daughter were in the hotel for a few hours before heading to Orlando and then South Carolina. They arrived after midnight on Feb. 4.

WITNESS 3: Sgt. Patrick Younkin with El Paso County Sheriff's Office. Was on Duty and responded to a call for a runaway juvenile January 27th, 2020. Runaways are given a non-urgent priority, they were busy that night.

Sgt. Younkin got consent and searched the home on night of reported runaway. Searched, closets attached garage and storage room. Made contact with Letecia on two occasions during search: first, in attached garage and second, lower level of residence. Had body worn camera.

I absolutely think she did or she would have been arrested as an accessory after the fact IMO

Prosecution witness testifies that Letecia Stauch rented a van in Colorado a few days after Gannon disappeared, then drove with her daughter to Pensacola, Florida, where Gannon’s body would be found about six weeks later.

I agree. Allen likely threatened her with charges unless she cooperated.

Next witness: Sgt. Patrick Younkin with EPCSO. He responded to the Stauch home the day that Gannon was reported missing. We are now watching his body cam footage.

Now, the court will watch the body-worn camera video from Sgt. Younkin. We first see the front door. It's dark out. You can hear Letecia Stauch speaking as they go inside. "Did he take his bike?" "No," says Stauch.

Poor HH, knowing today that during that journey, her step brother was deceased in the vehicle. I find it very hard to believe they she wouldn’t have been able to detect a smell, sorry to have to say that. Perhaps she did, and LS passed it off as something else :(

I don’t think HH was involved, other than being manipulated and blindsided by her mother. JMO.

Sgt. Patrick Younkin with the El Paso County Sheriff is now on the stand. He responded to a runaway child call on Jan. 27 and contacted Letecia Stauch at the residence.
