I am a medical professional fully knowledgeable of the physiological changes after a body's death. It's just not possible for that process to be odorless. I was waiting to hear about plastic wrapping, kitty litter, bleach or something.

It was said that it snowed several times. Is it possible being in the elements like that for a few days would have essentially frozen him and then the drive from Colorado to FL maybe taking a day wouldn't have really had much odor if he was basically frozen prior to that? It makes my eyes glass over just typing this out.

I think it took them a week or more to go search that location. I know we didn’t really get much, if any, snow the week after she did the deed. I remember it was oddly warm that Sunday, and the temp dropped dramatically Monday night. Snow was forecasted, but we didn’t get more than a dusting. And ponds here on the south end weren’t even frozen. But I can’t speak to how much snow might have been on the ground in northern El Paso County/southern Douglas County where she stashed his body.

I thought I remembered hearing that he was vacuum sealed in plastic - but that could have been a different case. My memory sucks...

O.M.G. I knew this was going to be ugly but still so hard to hear just exactly how ugly - heartbreaking. So very sad for Gannon and his mom and dad and sisters. And very interested about HH involvement/knowledge ... this has to have been extremely difficult for her too, trying to fathom for two years how your mom could do such a thing. We can indeed take comfort in knowing the LS will never again have the opportunity to parent a child and ... not to offend anyone but a little levity in a horrible situation is the image of rolling LS in on a dolly like Hannibal ... thanks for that. I don't believe LS was any kind of genius in knowing how to seal a dead body. It may have helped that it was cold but she surely had to tell HH some kind of "story".

What a rocky road this has been for all of us.

Younkin he’s looking at the car. “Did you have this car today?” “Yes…no!! No I didn’t drive it today.” She needed to get the ID out if it and got nervous. Younkin opens the back of the car, I believe the suitcase is seen. He closes the back of the car.

I'm not even considering HH at this stage.. it's evidence time now, well, a small amount of evidence, heavily streamlined, I would imagine.

If she has had a significant role, that information will emerge.
We simply do not know all the circumstances yet.

Deep breaths everyone. This is just the preliminary hearing. There’s more to come.

I’m going to wager that HH was aware of everything her mother had done and assisted with a lot after the murder.

I’m also going to suggest that HH helped throw the suitcase over the overpass railing.

This is so much worse than I imagined.

Teesplaining is coming back to haunt her. The lock, the picture of Gannon in bed (proof of life), blood in garage and on it goes.

My heart breaks again.

I believe LS waived her PH for the escape charge so they must need her to make an appearance to confirm given the late motion. Hope the Judge will have a decision shortly after. No brainer -- State met the burden to bound LS over for trial. MOO

Agent Cohen said he has not reviewed the autopsy report. Attorney Tolini is suggesting that the injuries on #GannonStauch could have been made post mortem.

Tolini asked if anyone had contacted the coroner in FL. Cohen wasn't aware. DA Michael Allen asked Cohen to read the cause of death off of the coroner's report. Cohen added this is a unique case.

DA Michael Allen is pointing out that there is a 6 foot privacy fence in the back yard with a padlock to the gate. Agent Cohen said #LeteciaStauch gave many small nuggest of truth but it was surrounded by false statements throughout their investigation.
