If it's Loki dogs they look like wolves and grow to be fairly large in size.

This is JMO as I don't have a MSM link, that TS had two small breed, fluffy dogs. I think she was misquoted there and she actually said "two little cute dogs." So, no I don't think she has Loki dogs.

Snipped

"When the search suspends it means we achieved a completion of the task," wrote Sgt. Deb Mynatt in an email. "The leads and tips go until it’s exhausted. In other words our detectives determined they either had received what they needed or it ended without any further information for further search needs."
Gannon Stauch: Search for missing boy resumes near Monument
This is so helpful to me because I have wondered. It makes me feel better and gives me hope that they aren’t wasting their time. They are on it! They find what they need or they move on. I’m praying that little boy is found so his parents can know what truly happened to him. The worst nightmare is having a loved one missing. The SM could end this. But I don’t see her as human.

If anyone has the wherewithal to do a search on the rental car Texas plate LWH1205. From the plate number you can get the registration which will tell you the date budget obtained the car and appx date it was placed in service. This could possibly clear up the starting miles _5_
Great idea. Any CO LE that can run a “27”???

So I keep going back to the beginning -- to her *first* story, that he was a runaway, and to her confidence in her eventual vindication -- before any of the proverbial merde started hitting the fan. It seems to me that whatever happened would have to had to have been *designed* to be optically consistent, at least in terms of the way she *expected* things to play out, with her first narrative.

And it also seems to me that her ideal scenario must have been something that would make *everyone* see how wonderful she was -- including her dh -- and there's simply no way *any* parent would still think you were wonderful upon finding out that their child had died while left in your care, even accidentally.

So perhaps there *was* no disposing of a body. Perhaps the goal was to have staged a runaway, and then for her to subsequently have found the little transgressor and emerged heroically, cementing her reputation (not only in the community but also in the eyes of her husband) as the beleaguered but tolerant and deeply loving stepmom..

But then -- how could this have happened without the boy having been able to refute the narrative? Maybe this is where the questions re the meds play in. What if she left a mildly injured and perhaps slightly overdosed kiddo, who had (predictably) fallen asleep in the car, in a place from which she expected him to eventually emerge safe and sound, and of his own volition..

But then, he doesn't come back.

And on top of that, she then perhaps goes hunting, and he doesn't even seem to be anywhere near where she had expected to find him. Maybe full panic mode ensues, and she's actually kind of as confused as everybody else ... except that she no longer really has the luxury of being able to tell the truth (and there is nothing like lying to addle the brain). And maybe this also explains why her story is constantly in flux -- because it's changing along w her best guessses as to what's actually transpired.

And *then* at some point it would perhaps have occurred to her that there may still be some traces of some minor (if still egregious) harm done to the boy -- which now turns into a major issue rather than an minor one, and maybe what she is trying to hide with all the vehicle sleight-of-hand is not evidence of a felony, but rather evidence of having been a catastrophically crummy stepmother.

And finally, her vision of having emerged from this ill-conceived charade as champion of the day has turned to absolute panic. And to me, that state of mind could explain the incoherence of all her communications to date …

Okay, just a thought …

Yep they r on it and i feel pretty confident that everytime they find something that crime lab will return to the home.
Of course I also think that means we can expect for TS to follow with word salads. So I don’t think we have heard the last from her. She has a lot more “explaining” to do. Moo

I personally think that a dog park would be one of the *worst* possible places to dispose of anything someone didn't want found. Dogs are *great* at finding things …
This is where my mind goes for dog parks too. Lots of doggos, with their doggo noses with their incredible sense of doggo smell, all running off leash. And often pretty busy.

Reading the quoted comments from the user questioning why Gannon's mother didn't have custody of him was really upsetting. I know the conversation has ended, but for anyone in the future who might be asking such a question - please know that it's hurtful to make such assumptions. Just because a bio-parent doesn't have custody does NOT automatically make them a bad parent, a junkie or anything sinister at all. My mother is a fantastic mother who cared enough for me and my sister to send us to live with my father because she knew that he had the financial means to care for us better. She chose the path that was much, much harder on her emotionally, in order for my sister and me to be afforded better opportunities. The minute that my mother felt she was able to provide more, she went right back to court and she got us back.

To make assumptions about why any parent doesn't have primary custody is extraordinarily hurtful and I hope that others will consider this in the future.

Thank you @sleepysleuth for this post. I found myself in a similar situation 20 years ago, although it progressed to a far worse situation. It was and still is traumatizing. My heart breaks though, for GS, AS, LH and little sister.

I am in the process of making a map with search locations. If anyone can remember all of the locations please send me a message. I want to flag each location starting from the day that he went missing. Thank you
Great idea. A map would be helpful for us out of towners especially.

Was there an argument between LS and AS and/or LS and the bio mom recently, prior to Gannon missing?
ie, was this some sort of revenge to a recent event?

Or ANY LE for that matter- doesn’t matter if it’s out-of-state plate.

What if Gannon was taken as part of a nefarious plot because his father discovered something he was not supposed to know.

Oh no offense taken, believe me! I was just recapping my thoughts for an earlier commenter on this thread who wasn’t a part of yesterday’s convo (that I remember anyways).

The mileage gate, as you call it, is growing old for me too. But, as a parent of an almost 11 year old boy, I feel like the principle here is super important.

If my son was missing, and there was even a 2% chance that LS drove 955 miles the next day, that 2% chance of recovering my son/answers would be incredibly important to me. And I think the possibility/likelihood of it being accurate is much higher here. Maybe even 50/50.

So it’s hard for me to understand why other posters I respect say “it’s not likely, let’s move on” when we have no factual reason to exclude the information. I feel duty bound to keep including any information that can’t be factually excluded because we are talking about a tragedy that happened to a vulnerable child...the same age as the one who lives in my house.

Now are we the ones with all the data tracking info or cadaver dog results? Of course not. So it’s not our responsibility to figure out the accuracy question conclusively. But I am humbly asking other sleuthers to keep this information in mind as we are forming theories or discovering new information, because if it were my kid, I would want every person to be offering the most fully formed observations they could. Because who knows who the right tip or idea might come from?

I will try not to overdo it on the mileage bits today, but please understand my heart that no stone go unturned. Thanks for listening.
When I was a boy, my mom always said don’t discount emotion because often times there is a gift in emotion. I think that’s what we are seeing here. You’re using both your rationale mind and your heart to advocate for not discarding information that could be helpful to our thought processes. When more information comes out down the road, something may indeed surface that makes that 955 number more relevant. And I am gonna keep it front of mind in case it does. Hats off.

Hm. That strikes me as pretty hypothetical, but I will bite.:) What things point to that being a possibility here in your opinion?

Such a shame that the police can't just deal with the weather.
A child is missing :(
They have been. This entire investigation. They have been out there this past month in some pretty cold, uncomfortable conditions, looking in snowpacks for anything to help them find GS. If there was a reason to search a certain place, I know they would be there. This is what our state is like for most of the year. We get snow until May and then it starts back up a few months later. Snow won't stop them.

Here for Gannon! I've had such a busy week, I try so hard to keep up! Awesome Sleuthing, Sleuthers! My nephew that lives not to far from Gannon that wanted to participate in the search a few weeks ago but, was told the search was called off due to weather conditions. He has since called asking if they need volunteers for upcoming searches? Was told No, only LE were searching but appreciated the call an would state if volunteers were needed at a later time.
My nephew mentioned to me about a Rampart park or road I believe he said? I am not familiar with any part of Colorado so if someone who is, is that a spot that is well hidden maybe?
Here always for Gannon, his parents an loved ones!! ❤❤❤
SM needs to do the right thing an tell LE where she put Gannon. Of course Liar McLiar pants will not. Ita all about her narcissist lying A*%
Someone needs to take her for a drive 900 miles away! I'm so angry with this mutant.

Re: The Rental Car

Was it ever parked at the family home? Did anyone see her driving it? Did Albert drive it? Did anyone see Albert driving it, if he did in fact drive it?

Did anyone see Tee from Monday night into Wednesday? Do we have a CONFIRMED date as to when Tee LEFT the family home?

I've been doing a lot of skimming trying to catch up so forgive me if this has been asked and answered somewhere?

That's great news.
My reply was to a post that stated it was unlikely as the weather was bad, sticky mud etc . . . . .
I'm pleased that despite the weather the search will go on.
