This is a very personal topic for me. I have a family member who fits the mold for narcissistic disorder. He's also an addict. The main point is, he lies constantly, and whenever he is around, there is always turmoil, strife, drama, lies, and a constant need for attention! Its exhausting dealing with him. He gaslights any scenario you throw at him, he's never wrong and he is a big time victim. For instance, his addiction is a disease he was born with. There's excuses for everything! Sorry for the off topic rant, but people like this are exhausting! To your point, LS is definitely playing victim and villian, keeping everyone listening to whatever she says while giving no direct information as to where Gannon is. Lots of smoke and mirrors!
Excellent post!!!!

I know on the joint custody, but there doesn't seem to be anything joint about who is raising the children. From what I have read the bio mom and LS have had run ins, unless the bio mom was in a coma, her young children should have been with her.

"Run in's"....can you please link an MSM article that discusses this?

Also, why are you bashing bio Mom? I don't think this forum allows victim bashing.

  • #23
It could be they are feeling guilt and they should be. In particular, why was the bio mom not raising her young children, and instead was allowing what appears more and more to be some delusional psycho to do it? When was the last time she even saw or held her now missing son? Years ago?

A mom not with her young children always raises eyebrows. Was she incarcerated? Is she a junkie? Why exactly was she not raising her children? If they speak out people will focus on them and scrutinize and I am sure they don't want that.

No one's family is perfect. Parents are human. At this point the only thing that really matters is that Gannon is missing, and the caregiver who was responsible for him at the time is acting suspiciously and not helping.

  • #24
I am not sure how the parents could be considered victims and for all we know LE might even be suspicious of them. I will not bring them up again.

They both were hundreds of miles away at the time. Military training is a pretty solid alibi.

Some timeline:

Jan 27, Monday, 10:15 am. TS and Gannon get into the red truck.
Monday 10:15-2:15, TS and Gannon are driving around the greater CS area, as far north as Castle Rock, exchanging exercise equipment for hockey equipment and looking at a bike for Albert. She got lost at one point. No mention of food stops. Gannon has some kind of electronic device with him.
Monday, 3:15 pm TS says she's exercising in the basement and that Gannon goes to an (unknown) friend's house. This is about the time that Gannon's sister would be coming home from school. Gannon does not take his phone.
Monday, 4:38 - TS says her daughter, HH, comes home.
Monday, 6:30ish, TS contacts AS about Gannon not being home, TS checks Gannon's phone and finds a Google search regarding whether parents can track an iPhone, concludes that he is a runaway, which is what she tells LE. LE does not mention the exact time of the call in its initial statements. Initially, LE states he was "last seen" between 3:15 and 4:00.
Monday evening: Some searching is done in Lorson Ranch.
Monday, around 7 pm: LE enters Gannon database into Missing Children's and Person's databases

Jan 28, Tuesday.

6:50 am approximate. TS leaves home to drive 100 miles north to DIA.
8:50 am TS rents a small Kia from Budget at DIA. She picks up Albert, who is flying in from Oklahoma. It is unclear exactly when his flight landed. TS drives AS, in the KIA, to CS to search "door to door" for Gannon.LE reports that officers and detectives are searching for Gannon "in between" other calls for service.
Late in the day (approximate) LH arrives from SC. Unclear who picks her up or which airport. She spends the night "talking to LE."
10:00 pm. LE is observed in the backyard of the Stauch home, searching with flashlights. One car is visible in the driveway.

At some point on Tuesday, AS speaks to MSM (KOAA) and says that Gannon left around 3:30. An earlier, unsourced MSM statement says that Gannon went to a friend's house "a few streets away." AS mentions the streetlight rule and how he texted all of Gannon's friends, none had seen him.

National Guard is involved in search. Weather turns colder, there is snow falling on Tuesday night in the region.

Jan. 29, Wednesday

11:00 am, approximate. TS leaves CS with the rental car to drive 100 miles to return the Kia.
1:20 pm. TS returns the Kia, receipt shows over 900 miles driven. No confirmation if this is correct. If correct, then 200 of those miles were conveying AS to CS and then taking the car back, leaving about 750 miles unaccounted for.

LH's aunt, Veronica Birkenstock, contacts LE to organize an "official search." Search is still focused in Lorson Ranch.

Evening: A vigil for Gannon, held in Lorson Ranch. 200 people have searched Lorson Ranch for 2 days. Drones and other tech is involved. They used a 10 mile radius. Homeless encampments were searched.

Jan 30, Thursday

LE is observed watching the Stauch house for "an extended period of time" in two cars. When two men and a woman emerge and get into "a truck" and leave, LE also leaves.

FBI gets involved. LE says they have "Persons of interest." LE does not name them.

School district tells the Gazette that Gannon was absent on Monday. One neighbor reveals he's been using a drone to search a 50 mile radius. Vacant houses are searched, LE contacts trash removal and landfill operators but does not search landfills at this time.

Jan. 31, Friday

LH makes another plea to help find Gannon, asking "Why is this happening to him?" Gannon's status is changed to "missing, endangered."

Friday, 2:40 pm. TS gives her first video interview, standing with her back to the camera at the edge of housing developments in Lorson Ranch. This is the interview where she mentions she had to leave the Mandan house without belongings, so she and daughter go to Marshall's to "buy underwear" where they are met by police. TS claims her civil rights were violated during an interrogation, that LE demanded car keys from her daughter, that daughter resisted giving keys, and was placed in the back of a police cruiser (apparently, at Marshall's parking lot).

TS reveals she is no longer at the family home. Perhaps she left on Thursday? Her location was widely shared on SM, but I do not think MSM shared it.

------------------
That Friday interview marked the beginning of what now looks like an active PR campaign by TS. She has been super active on social media for those few days (4 days after Gannon goes missing).

Can the time of that Google search be shown?

I know that when I search something the page will have the time of 'last visited' underneath

I'm wondering if the police have this time.

Yes, law enforcement can determine the time that search was made.

I just checked out the Chris Watts discovery documents, and they had the times in which he searched for particular topics (they downloaded his phone).

I can’t imagine they didn’t do the same thing here with both Gannon and TS’ phones.

I would be surprised if there weren’t other incriminating searches made around the time he went missing.

Please read all my posts before remarking. I do not suspect the bio parents. I am just annoyed that bio mom was not raising her children and instead let them be in the care of LS that appears to be very unstable.

Well they definitely have been victimized by LS by the looks of it. But I only view the boy, that had no say in any of the choices the adults made, as the victim. At this point it is probably safe to say he paid with his life due to those choices. Weeks ago I was hoping LS was doing something of a hoax. Like hiding out GS in some warped scheme to get pity, attention or money or all of it due to how she had made everything about herself regarding the disappearance and how she called it in to police as a kidnapping. But now I have lost hope that GS is alive.
Family dynamics, the courts, people’s health, work & more all play a role in where children are living when there’s divorce. I don’t in any way see that Gannon is ‘paying’ by whom he is currently living with, his parents deeply & truly love him as seen in their conference. Sometimes we don’t truly know or understand a person to whom we are close. They deserve our prayers, support & hope while they continue to stay strong and graciously allow LE to meticulously investigate & hopefully soon bring an end to this case.

It doesn't matter. It doesn't change the question I had. We can all see what LS is or appears to be, it goes without saying the parents could see it too.

I disagree with that. I posted about my brother a couple pages back. When my mother passed away and my brother moved to my home town, 5 months ago, I had no clue he was an addict or a narcissist! Knowing a person is subjective to how close you are to one another.

I also have a husband who was previously married, that marriage produced three kids. I know the kids, and care for the kids but I have no relationship with their Bio Mom because she's a jealous vindictive person.

People can be snakes, and don't always convey that on first impression. Also , in divorce, usually ex wives aren't accepted, so how well anyone knew anyone else is all conjecture.

Thank you to the posters who put up the email for the tip line.

My question is though, one of the articles references the Sheriffs office saying they need concrete facts etc not speculation or hunches etc.

Isn't this a hunch essentially?

What a silly analogy. Am I blaming GS? That is the victim here. That is the person who is most likely dead.

The parents of a child missing under suspicious circumstances are victims in my book. If poor Gannon really is dead they'll suffer the most.

I do see what you are saying. Ticks me off that it could be another lucky break for someone. That’s aggravating. I was hoping it would be more structured. I hope LE can figure out the truth to the mileage if they haven’t already.
Im still not seeing how the 5 miles had everyone so stumped!
It's not hard.
Trucks deliver fleets of brand new vehicles to Rental agencies and car lots all the time.
The car was obviously brand new new just rolled off the truck. That's how it works.
Way back before I finished school used to work for corporate of auto maker. Part of my team's job was delivering fleets of brand new cars all over southeast united states, including rental agencies.

And that is actually a good thing because any evidence left in the car wont be tainted by previous renters

I took the 5 miles to mean the car was brand new, not rented by anyone yet. The few miles was to wash it, gas it up and have it ready to rent. I missed quiet a few pages in the past few days. It appears this may have been discussed at length and presented quite a mystery? IMO

Wow, I was just sitting here trying to think of how to say what you just said. Thank you! I'm of the mindset to put no credibility in anything coming out of LS mouth!

It didn’t have everyone stumped. The mileage came up a good ways back and people talked about it extensively. A good many people spoke up about their experiences with rental car companies to suggest that many companies do have streamlined systems to track mileage. Since she at least used a full tank of gas (300-400 miles) in a short period, even that distance seemed surprising. And at least one person who worked in the industry brought up the new rental cars being transported in on a flatbed truck.

Myself and a good many others felt excess mileage COULD be the act of a desperate person with a body or evidence to hide, so we didn’t feel comfortable discounting the mileage as a mistake unless there was factual reason to do so.

Everyone who felt the mileage could be relevant also seemed to acknowledge that it might not be. 955 is a big number and doesn’t reflect how far a normal person under normal circumstances would drive in a 24 hour window. So that irregularity could be either explained by flimsy record keeping or by deliberate criminal behavior.

After a while, the conversation moved on but others coming in a bit later raised the question again. And I think the original commenters had already exhausted ourselves picking it apart that people didn’t retype all their thoughts for round 2, 3, and 4. Suffice to say, there are people here who believe we need more facts before we decide how to treat the mileage.

For the members who live locally. If you were
limited to a couple of hours where would you dispose of someone that would be very unlikely to be discovered ?

Oh man, I really don't want to answer this question because my answer is terrifying. Probably one of our national parks where there is wild life for obvious reasons or anywhere deep in the mountains.

Right back at ya Colorado!

Yeah I am working on limited resources here. Literally just listening to her video to find cues, changes in tone, excitement in body language etc. And this is what I came up with!

I think she mentioned the dogs because perhaps she may have already planned to say the dogs were in the backyard while Gannon slipped out and ran away.. the running away was her first story so she more than likely worked out the bit where it would have been impossible for the dogs to trip the motion sensor because they were in the backyard, therefore only Gannon could have tripped that motion sensor when he snuck out of the house.
