I do not think she could be prevented from leaving the state, with no charges?
I thought they could tell you not to leave the area due to any police investigation, but maybe I watch too much TV, lol.

Iirc, A reporter asked, during the cousin it video or a presser, what happened the month before. He was brushed off. I would link you up, but I am having minor surgery in a little bit.

I apologize in advance for any posts I make later today that may not make any sense.
Good luck SuziQ!
Hope it all goes well.

That search gives limited info though- nothing about registration info

thanks though!!

See attached. Looking up the VIN seems to show repair history in July 2019 in TN, and had 900 miles back then.

is anyone watching KRDO13, I think that is the news source for Colarado Springs,

IMO, I don’t believe stepmom would have any issue securing a reputable attorney.
IIRC Our favorite head crime afficionado said he would have represented Watts, but the family didn't have the money. These defense attorneys sure can wax on about how everyone needs representation regardless of the crime. Unless they don't have money, then they can just eat cake with whomever they get dealt by the system.

I read a post talking about T speaking about the dogs using present and past tense, I thought it was an interview of T speaking about the dogs and the motion sensor.
I asked for a link to the interview because i couldn't find it, and perhaps it was because of EU laws. I received the one I had watched, the one where T has her back to the camera.
I misunderstood and felt silly thinking it was a separate video.
So I stated, "oh that's what it was, T saying Gannon was helpful with the dogs".
Oh gotcha!
The word. "just" can be used to minimize the situation.

And I would never minimize anything TS says, mainly cause she is a liar!

I guarantee that no state in our union pays for someone's lawyer when they haven't been charged with a criminal matter.

And IMO, it's more expensive to arrest someone out of state, but there could be reasons why LE let TS leave CO if in fact she did (I'm sure we have only her SM "word" for it).

I do not think she could be prevented from leaving the state, with no charges?

I think you're right, although she could be asked to stay close by. If true, I guess she's given up on looking for Gannon. Since I believe that LE would have asked her not to leave the state, when this goes to trial, it'll just be one more tally mark on the prosecution's side. "Asked to stay near CO, but fled the state without notifying LE" (if true). Then, if she fights extradition, that'll come and smack her later on, as well. It's obvious they aren't going to file charges until they are certain they have enough on her, and IMO, they have enough for several charges against her right now.

Perhaps they want probable cause to search where she's living right now, along with its computers.

Well, this could be entirely unrelated, but since you mention it...

Residents asked to stay in place near Uintah and Mesa

"Heavy police activity from the search for a wanted person search in the area of 1200 W High Point Ln. has prompted police to alert residents in the area to stay indoors and away from windows.

KRDO is working to get more information about this situation."

Agreed.

They may wait until after a press conference to add her, but just in case:
VINELink

Thanks, imho!!

You always manage to come through with helpful info.

That VINELink will come in handy with a lot of other cases, too.

Much appreciated!

PS - I was in Colorado Springs in early fall, 2019 and was with a coworker who rented a car in their name. I honestly do not remember what company it was, but I don’t think it was Budget. I think it was Hertz. But if I remember right (and I don’t always because trips and airports blur together), both Budget and Hertz were somewhere on the airport grounds that we had to walk to. Cars were I believe stored in a big parking lot and, at least with the company we used, we had to wait a lengthy time because we HAD to wait for the attendant to finish verifying mileage and damage for all the people in front of us in line in the parking lot. Again, I know this isn’t super helpful because I don’t think we rented through Budget (and I am not willing to lie and said we did to prove a point!), but it is PART of why I cannot allow myself to just rule the mileage out as a mistake.

Finally had a break to check on my animals & WS!

Being... that we have what looks like an official receipt with information that myself & many others have never experienced being documented in anything but an accurate manner AND coupled with it presented in a missing child’s case entering it’s 5th week where the spotlight is on a virtual circus figure... I absolutely can not look at the presence of this new evidence (to us) as anything but a serious red flag.

I think as DocStetson said the other night it is nothing but a MISTAKE to not take it seriously until we can concretely prove otherwise.

This little boy... it is such a wretched thing, this case. It needs to end, he needs to be found. It causes me pain and I can’t even begin to imagine what his family has gone through... I have 2 boys and they are MY WORLD.

edit: add parentheses

Everybody go charge your phones and laptops just in case, lol.

Justice for Gannon.

Yeah I understand.
I said 'just' because I thought it was something else much bigger.
I agree though that my word choice there could have been misunderstood.

I know what you mean, my legal knowledge is limited, but I do remember Detective Joe Friday telling suspects not to leave town. Wink.

IF an arrest is happening today it could very well be because of something found on Saturdays search, that maybe they had just received analysis on, and not that they were waiting for her to leave the state. IMO
