Yes because LS had to cover her backside and "fill in a reason" for LE finding blood.

And likely unprompted too I think? I don't recall any agency or MSM mentioning blood being found.

I think he and LH share custody :

Gannon Stauch Missing: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

SABBM:

Gannon’s mother, Landen Hiott, lives in South Carolina and is in Colorado helping with the search. Hiott and Stauch share custody of Gannon, according to his family.

I absolutely think GS's sister will be going back to SC with their mom.

JMO.

Apparently he has them for the school year, and she has them for summers and for Christmas break. The documents are public record. Of course, the parents can agree to do otherwise.

I think that it will be really hard on that little girl to have her life/school disrupted, but there's no way to fix it now. Albert surely has to work, right?

Fresh thinking....plausible...

My only problem is that she has neither retrieved him from that task nor told LE where he was for however long he was having to work. If Gannon was permitted to go work for a stranger, then this case is definitely an Amber Alert type case and she ought to say all she knows.

I keep thinking back to LS, Gannon and the carpet incident. When she was saying "we have to sell something to fix it." What if she told him he could do a job to help pay for the carpet? The neighbors did mention he would ask them if he could shovel snow for them. I just keep thinking now that she mentioned someone picked him up maybe she told him he could do a job for this individual and this person would be picking him up?
SM stated that GS left with someone but never claimed that he left to do a job/work. I assume she would have stated 'GS went with so-and-so to do work' if that were the case, based on what SM has already released in social media, but AFAIK SM never offered that explanation.

Sadly, GS's sister's life has already been utterly and unalterably disrupted.

AS has to return to work at some point, if he hasn't already, and LH has her husband and their 2 daughters back in SC.

I don't think there's any way LH is going to leave town without her daughter.

I don't see her entrusting GS's sister to anyone else's care, considering what's happened to GS.

Has the house been sealed off all this time?

I think SM must know that LE has collected evidence that points to her. It might be surveillance evidence, his blood in the garage, on one of the cars, on a tool, on her cell phone data, on vehicle tracking evidence as well as hundreds of tips for why they are searching at a certain locations etc.

I have always worried that a suspect will commit suicide when their "I'm innocent" game is up, and never tell where they put the body, but I have to say, in this case, I think she will fight this to the bitter end. If indicted, she will plead innocent and take it to trial. She thinks she is smarter than everybody and will be able to manipulate her defense lawyer and a jury, the same way she thinks she is manipulating us .

I hope LE have enough evidence without finding Gannon, but I'm praying his remains are found, with evidence of homicide for justice for him, and for his family to give him a proper funeral and burial.

It is so sad that I am thinking of the worse case scenario that happened to Gannon.

I can't imagine sending her back to the same school that her missing brother went to. The amount of emotional support that would require is really tremendous. At least, with her mother, they have family nearby and that ability to physically "be there" as I think dad will probably have work trips ahead as well.

Did she say blood was on the edge of the car? Am I remembering correctly? What exactly is the edge? The bumper? The fender? The bottom of the door?

Officials not using citizen volunteers to search for Gannon Stauch in Larkspur

Officials are not using "citizen volunteers" in current search efforts to locate GS.

Possibly for a few reasons, such as weather and terrain concerns but also from a forensics standpoint: citizens not trained in search procedure might contaminate or otherwise (accidentally) destroy potential evidence found near or within a discovery scene.

LE has stated they hope to bring GS home safely and yet, there are the searches in the snow. I'm concerned LE doesn't know as much as we would hope.

I’ve received a lot of questions about the FBI's involvement in the #GannonStauch case. They've been involved since Jan 30. Their crews are helping with the search which is why we see their evidence response vehicles out and about. #FindGannon

SM adding that now to enhance her previous statements would be too little too late, as it would be given little weight as to truthfulness since such information would be considered a primary element to the reason why GS is not present. "Oops, I forgot to mention...", just wouldn't fly.

Nothing that specific. She only said "he sat on the edge of the car" while she bandaged his foot, claiming a barefoot injury in the garage (on some unspecified tool she intimates was left laying by AS, who she said does woodworking) . She's apparently trying to account for something in the way of evidence she thinks LE may have.

If they found any form of blood "inside the car" she's toast. IMO. I also want to say that I call my car a "car" and its a SUV. IMO

I want to add LS leaves out information in her public statement.

Her statement is here:
Gannon Stauch: Stepmother releases public statement after missing boy mysteriously vanishes while in her care

Leaving out some relevant part of the truth, the statement becomes indeed deceiving. This is what can be referred to as a lie of omission.

Also known as a continuing misrepresentation, a lie by omission occurs when an important fact(s) is left out in order to foster a misconception.

Here are a few:

1. Saturday Night, G was helping me unload in the garage
[unloading what and why is missing information]

2. and cut his foot because there are a lot of tools because Albert does woodworking
[She doesn't tell us how he got cut and what tool. She doesn't tell us Gannon received a cut from a wood working tool. She is guides us to believe this]

3. Fast forward, we did a hike on Sunday (cleared), and shopping on Monday...
[Fast forward...This is what I call "temporal lacunae" or, skipping over time.
This is something important.
There is information that LS withholding from us.
This is the time period that she did not want to stop to explain.
Her skipping this information is deceiving.]

ok I'm just now reading TS's statement
what does this mean???

'... from day one the Sheriff's office has known a description of the person/friend whom Gannon left with.'

sure they do -------------------------- HER

He's a little boy. How did he sit on the edge of the car? If he cut his foot, did she place him on the hood? Did he open the door and sit on the seat? That doesn't flow like truth to me. Note she didn't say truck.
