The Sheriff's Office has received 465 tips to date. These tips include possible sightings, search suggestions, social media related information, suspicious activity, found property/possible evidence and video/photo/drone evidence.

Nah. I'm gonna step into this one and say this -- a SAR person who talks or posts about mission-related information, including photos, is not long for SAR. That is completely unacceptable. SAR mission data is considered sensitive LE info, it's one of the first things you learn.

After action reports are only shared with other members and LE when appropriate. No photographs shared with the public. Local TV news once tried to film me following tracks, so I stuck my finger up my nose, they shut the camera off, then they yelled at me until LE came and got them away...and off the subjects tracks. The days before live feed. The film never aired.

People use their own personal time and energy to set up these very in-depth times lines. Something they don’t have to do but do it to keep everybody informed and the copious amounts on information organized. If you don’t like it, start on page 2. I couldn’t imagine spending the amount of time it takes to build a timeline like the one on this thread, then have multiple people say how much they don’t like it. It’s rude.

Yes I do. And I can tell. Men and Women don't walk the same (big surprise). No two people in the same geographical area walk with the same stride, pitch and straddle, wearing the same style shoes with the same accidental indicators, weighing the same and leaving the same pressure releases and sub surface pressure releases, moving at the same speed. It's all in the little details.

This is fascinating! I'm a birder as a hobby, I really don't care so much about the "birds" as much as the "sleuthing' It could have been lizards for me but alas lizards aren't really on the move and showing up unexpectedly thousands of miles off course. But this seems strangely similar as it's an always changing "thing" but with specific traits to look for. It's hard to put in words what I'm thinking...

It is a huge let-down, from hope to despair.
It's a release to cry... embrace it fully.

Where have you been? I hope you’ll join in other discussions elsewhere. Your explanation and summary is right on the money. I appreciate the informative post.

I would absolutely love to, and thank everyone for the lovely responses. I know it gets hard juggling 'perps' (or could be, would be) with/displaying mental illnesses as it is, let alone trying to navigate how complex personality disorders can be on case by case basis'. I'm off and on with my Med Psychiatry degree, since it's just so honkin' expensive to do, but it's something I've lived and known deeply and am passionate enough about. I remember Blaze Bernstein's case being the big one I watched a bit back and I wasn't quite ready to come out of my shell and start getting talking to everyone, trying to point out what kind of person we had beneath the hood-- and it broke my heart for months when it wound up being pretty much spot on to what I had thought, albeit worse...

Totally glad to be able to shed some light into what kind of process a distinct Narcissist would be mulling about right now, because this would be the time for one of two things to come-- 1) Peak Dramatics; or 2) Absolute silence and pious submission, do no wrong. Both of which are what I am holding my breath for and watching.

(Also, I wanted to slip a funny note about a few pages back. How that 'strange poster' came in the thread last night? Not sure if it was coincidence but they came around after I asked about the open space/water retention area. I only moved to this part of Colosprings/Fountain back in June 2019, so I'm not SUPER familiar with what everything is over there-- but lmao, acting like people are all on Garden of the Gods and mucking around because of what I assumed was my mention of Bluestem?? Idk if I'm reaching, but tbh if it was and it was TS-- oh hon....... Really I could walk to Bluestem if I felt like putting on my boots. I think I live here, and have for a bit now. To gatekeep whether or not people LIVE in a state or city... that's a new one for me! Guess I'll just have to accidentally run into 'em at the ol' 'n Go, right?-- LOL, I'm kidding, no malice implied!)

'Safely ' could mean intact. Not necessarily alive.

I know with Gannon missing there is little room for giggling. But this is the 2nd time I've giggled at a post today!!
