I'm doubting SM has a bandage on her hand . I think it is the style of her hoodie , there is fashion styles that the cuff comes down over the hand with a thumb hole cut out out of cuff . My daughter had them in her teenage years and I recognise where cuff covers the hand .
Yes, she's wearing a shirt with thumb holes, but a few people noticed something that looked like the edge of a bandage sticking out from under the cuff covering her hand.

It's hard to tell from the pictures that were posted but that's what they were referring to, as opposed to the shirt itself. Jmo

ok I'm just now reading TS's statement
what does this mean???

'... from day one the Sheriff's office has known a description of the person/friend whom Gannon left with.'
That's ^^^ total nonsense and a complete LIE.

Maybe by edge, she meant the back of the other car that was sitting in the driveway on the infamous video of her and Gannon leaving on that fateful day. The vehicle appears to be a hatchback. If she backed up/into the driveway to unload whatever, the hatchback was probably up. Maybe he was sat in the back of the hatchback??? Just trying to make sense of the statement.

I want to add LS leaves out information in her public statement.

Her statement is here:
Gannon Stauch: Stepmother releases public statement after missing boy mysteriously vanishes while in her care

Leaving out some relevant part of the truth, the statement becomes indeed deceiving. This is what can be referred to as a lie of omission.

Also known as a continuing misrepresentation, a lie by omission occurs when an important fact(s) is left out in order to foster a misconception.

Here are a few:

1. Saturday Night, G was helping me unload in the garage
[unloading what and why is missing information]

2. and cut his foot because there are a lot of tools because Albert does woodworking
[She doesn't tell us how he got cut and what tool. She doesn't tell us Gannon received a cut from a wood working tool. She is guides us to believe this]

3. Fast forward, we did a hike on Sunday (cleared), and shopping on Monday...
[Fast forward...This is what I call "temporal lacunae" or, skipping over time.
This is something important.
There is information that LS withholding from us.
This is the time period that she did not want to stop to explain.
Her skipping this information is deceiving.]
Not sure mine fits here but in the interview she
stated LE would not let her get a lawyer to assist her with some questions yet now over 2 weeks later she seems to still have no lawyer. So maybe that part about not being allowed a lawyer was also some deception.

I have a 13 yr old girl who constantly leaves her phone behind when leaving. She uses it a lot, but when she goes somewhere, it isn't her priority to take it. She keeps in contact with friends on that phone, has apps and games and stuff, but it's just not attached to her hip. That's not saying LS didn't tell GS to leave the phone so she could plant a little google search BUT even tech savvy kids may not care that much about a phone if they have a tablet or a switch to keep them occupied when going out away from home for a bit.
Can kids communicate with others using their switch?

I know my kids used to text from their iPods, years ago. And they could chat w/friends from their game boxes, like the Nintendo. So I wonder if Switch has a way to message friends....

Yes you can. My son has one.

But Albert does have custody, IIRC. I'm not sure they're living in that house (they were asked to leave, there are fundraisers to help them).
They have joint custody. So if he agreed verbally, she could take her back home.

I wonder if LE has his Switch?

Or is it missing too?

Could they be searching for it?...Or did they find it?

Funny...I asked 3 people tonight (Who don't know this site or conversation exist) "what's the edge of a car?" they all responded....huh??? "What do you mean by edge...."
For reference I have taken it to mean if the car door is open and someone is sitting in the seat with feet on the ground and then move feet to the doors threshold then the door threshold can be loosely called the edge. This was somewhat common reference 50 years ago when many people still washed their own cars , or in my case my mom's car and i did not get that part of the car clean.

I'm sure hoping LE has it. They seem pretty on top of this investigation. ;)

Apparently he has them for the school year, and she has them for summers and for Christmas break. The documents are public record. Of course, the parents can agree to do otherwise.

I think that it will be really hard on that little girl to have her life/school disrupted, but there's no way to fix it now. Albert surely has to work, right?
I think changing schools right now will be a blessing for her. She doesn't need to go to the same school and be reminded every minute by all of her brother's friends, and asked about it over and over. Every student and teacher would be familiar with her situation and it would be overwhelming.

I think a new environment will be better at this point. JMO

Unless someone disposed of it when they disposed of him?

I can't imagine sending her back to the same school that her missing brother went to. The amount of emotional support that would require is really tremendous. At least, with her mother, they have family nearby and that ability to physically "be there" as I think dad will probably have work trips ahead as well.
I totally agree. That sweet girl needs a total change of environment right now. I think being with her baby sister and her mother would be the perfect way for her to start recovering from this trauma.

Fascinating, thank you for sharing. Have you ever read in the Barbara Thomas MP thread? I'd be super interested to get your perspective over there. Sorry for the OT~
Yes, me too...

Yeah but I think you need the Nintendo online app through your phone to do it.

In all fairness. She did state in the 1/31 back to the camera interview, that she requested an attorney to "help her with some of the vocabulary" LE was using.
I'll bet some pretty big words were used when they interviewed her about an 11 year old boy and what happened to him.

Morning all, I noticed in the video she spoke about sweet Gannon in the past tense, a few times.

Yeah; if I had the door open on my truck, or the back and was sitting with my legs out of the door/hatch, or sitting on my bumper, I'd then be sitting on the edge.

Same with "good to go". No word salad there for me. Very common usage within our military and here in the town where I live as well (we actually have a gas station called "Good to Go" here. LOL.

"Do you want chicken for supper?" Good to go.
"Does this dress look OK on me?" Good to go.
"Ready to do this?" Good to go.
"Are the bills paid?" Good to go.
Can we do it the day after tomorrow?" Good to go.
"Ready?" Good to go.
"Like this song?" Good to go.
"Want me to change the channel?" Good to go.
"Good to go?" Good to go.

You can, but not a ton. You get basic stuff like being able to play games together or to add friends, but nothing more unless you're using an external app. The Switch has voice chat, but it's on a phone app for example. Anything too important would likely be on another device if the Switch is involved at all.

Morning maybe today they will find gannon. The person responsible has to be crapping in her pants . I hope the person comes forward to save the searchers time . Gannon needs to be with his family either alive or for closure . #bringgannonhome
