In her first interview, she says that Albert should apologize to her.

Frankly, demanding or asking for an apology is already establishing superiority and it is an attempt to dominate. Publicly demanding an apology is a fairly hostile act. That request went out to millions.

We do use these words with children, but not with other adults who are equal to us. In fact, there are whole classes on transactional analysis that boil down to "Do not order others to do things, don't tell them what they should do and do not use yourself as the example - as that's narcissistic too." Most therapists have taken such classes, but most people still lapse into those constructions frequently. If one is actually in charge of something (You're a medical doctor and writing a prescription) then that tone is fine. It's actually a really hard rule to follow, as sometimes we really do want to tell others what to do.

Exceptions: someone asks you for advice. We only ask others for advice on occasion and then we get to listen to them tell us what to do. Even then, a lot of sensible people will refrain from advice or relationship demands.

Obviously, some areas of expertise are tasked with telling others what to do, but I'm talking about regular interpersonal relationships (like LS's relationship with her husband, which was my focus here).

I'm from Colorado but not as familiar with the areas near Palmer Lake. I believe a bit north of the Palmer Lake area by about 20-25 miles or so, there is a canyon-type area, Castlewood Canyon that my hubby and I have visited. I haven't read anything about that area relating to Gannon, but for some reason, I keep thinking about that area.

I drove by the search site earlier today and they’re definitely out there again. It didn’t seem like as many people were there based on the number of cars in the parking lot. The ambulance was back today - I assume that’s in case there’s an injury to one of the searchers. I didn’t see any horses or horse trailers. The mobile cell tower was back again, which makes sense - cell service all along 105 from Palmer Lake to Larkspur is sketchy at best.
Thank you. Were they still along the road?

The displayed area in question is from the upper right corner of the much larger image; there isn't much information (pixels) in that section because what was released is a video-recorded copy of the original video as played on an LCD display.

Such copies carry over less detail than is available in the original. Enhancing the copy (which I did with my equipment/software) provided little in the way of detail.
I wonder what the clear as crystal cam recorder, the one from the neighbor, looks like.
We have a copy of a copy.
His would be awesome to see.

Nice to have some factual data, thanks. LE must have some pretty strong intel that something is in that region.

The thing I go back to is this, if Gannon is there, it is my belief that a canine could/would surely find him. So, what gives? What is it they are looking for?
Dogs aren’t perfect, although they are a great tool. There have been several cases I’ve followed where they have missed dead bodies.

That being said, I do believe that’s exactly what they’re looking for—a body.

The mods really prefer if you hit the report button - so they don't have to read entire threads all the time.
OH! Thank you!! Will do

has it been confirmed that there is a crystal clear version?

I wish LS would just go to LE and tell the truth. She knows so much and they are onto her. Just get this settled so this sweet little boy can be found.

IMO she won’t tell, not because there was an accident and she is afraid, but because she hates Gannons parents. That’s my opinion from all I have read here and from her interview.

No. I didn’t actually see any search activity. There was a TV van by the road and a Douglas County community service vehicle on the S curve to warn approaching vehicles but that was all I was able to see. It felt less active than prior days based on number of vehicles and amount of activity but I’m guessing that’s because they were farther away from the road.

In addition to that tactic, she’s also tried another.

Manipulation.

She reminds him of all she has done for him (standing by him through countless court hearings, helping to raise his children etc). She also assures him that he will ultimately see the light, which is a measure of gaslighting.

Sheriff's Office Update on Gannon Stauch Case
February 15, 2020
On February 15, 2020, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office and partners continued to search specific areas and we have over 100 trained individuals and specialized assets to include Search and Rescue, Mounted and K-9's, assisting in today's search efforts. The investigation and search processes continue to run parallel with one another.

The Sheriff's Office has received 540 tips to date. These tips include possible sightings, search suggestions, social media related information, suspicious activity, found property/possible evidence and video/photo/drone evidence.

Please do not send tips through social media platforms as this slows down the investigative process and the timeliness in following up on the tip and/or lead. If you have any credible information please either call our Tip Line at 719-520-6666 or email to [email protected].

The goal remains to find Gannon and bring him home safely. This is a very active and fluid investigation. Specific details will be released as the investigation allows.

You CAN delete it if you get to it quick enough. The "edit" button does not last a long time, maybe ten minutes? Unsure how long. You can erase what you wrote during a certain timeframe and then put "DBM" (deleted by me) or just a dot (.) or something.
I understand it lasts one hour.

Castlewood Canyon is between Franktown and Castle Rock, if that helps. It is about half an hour northeast of the Palmer Lake search area and about an hour north of Fountain.

We have a copy of a copy.

I do kind of wonder if this isn't as clear as it gets? I know people say it was a bootleg copy, but also he's several houses down. I have a system in my shop that looks great when not zoomed, but the zoom is digital and looks like this if I zoom in on something all the way down (it's a 7000 sq ft building). Also the video doesnt move at all, so if it was a bootleg, they used a tripod which would be odd if RD wasn't wanting to share it publically.

Would be interesting if someone has a similar camera and actually zooms in on something 2 or three houses down - is it still clear?

Yes, we don’t have enough info at this point to say without a doubt. And I’m sure this will be what a defense team will look into. I just keep going back to an amber alert...if he was abducted why then isn’t there one? LE says it’s because certain criteria wasn’t met, and we can’t know that criteria because “it’s part of the investigation.” But I guess anything is possible. MOO
Maybe if they don't have a vehicle and or plate # they can not issue an amber alert? Or maybe because he was reported as a runaway? I'm not sure.

I gotta' be honest:

I've followed numerous cases where dogs have been used in mp searches.

In all those cases I've followed, a dog has never actually successfully located the missing person.

I think canines are a resource that can and should be used by LE, but they're no more infallible than human beings.

They're dog-like...not God-like.

JMO.
