I was thinking that it was because of the weekend. JMO

We still had some updates at around this time yesterday though. But yeah, the weekend is slow on the news covering front.

I don't have any children, but I once was a child like all of us. One thing that has bothered me is solely built on the way I was raised by my parents, so those of you with kids may be better suited for the thing that bothers me.

Let's theorize that TS is telling the truth. Gannon left with her, returned with her, then left on his own with a friend (or something like that). If he were home sick from school 1) why would you take him out in town for 4 hours? 2) Why would you let him go to a friends?

I'm not a parent, so I certain won't be the one to suggest how to parent a child, but I can't for the life of me fathom my parents ever doing 1 or 2 if I were bad enough off not to go to school.

A true and loving parent would not do this.

Yeah, I never had to see that video. All I had to know was how the father reacted to it.

IMO, at the very very least he made it clear she lied to him about something. Which is the absolute worst thing to do when a child is missing.

IMO they have camera footage of her passing a location on 105 but not passing the next camera location, they zeroed in on the roads between.

Staging at the 12802 Perry Park/105 Drive they searched the "35 acre" area there, then they backed out to the road, snow plowed the road, had crews shoulder to shoulder thoroughly poking through the ground at side of the road and the fence line.
Yesterday, they stopped at the access road just 90 ft. north of Sierra Pines Lanes and had the evidence team go over some thing there at the entrance by the gate or on the gate.

Didn't SM pull the car into the driveway and go into the house again before emerging while Gannon got in the car? Could she have dropped off her phone in the house....which would make her confident in not revealing the Monday car ride because her phone would ping at home?

And that would be telling in and of itself.

People take their phones with them when they leave the house for a length of time, and if her phone remained there when the video shows her leaving, that’s damning.

It’s not game changing or anything, but it would fit perfectly into this puzzle.

Significant elements: Drayton's description does indeed show both assumed SM and assumed GS entering the vehicle. It also shows assumed SM exiting the vehicle and not would-be-assumed GS. That is not in dispute. That is what we directly see.

What we do not see is GS exiting but there are shadows that appear in areas of the video that might indicate assumed GS exiting. That others refuse to accept the existence of the shadows or refuse to accept indicates activity on the other side of the vehicle is not my problem.

I have no reasons to lean one way or the other regarding innocence or guilt of a someone in this case nor do I have a dog in this hunt for one way or another. I know my (photography) experience, I know what I see in the video and I overlay what I see with the logic of what the situation suggests: that someone exited the vehicle on the other side and I assume that to have been GS because I assume the individual we see entering the near side of the vehicle was GS.

Experience and logic and no bias one way or another: not a bad combination.

I see absolutely zero to suggest another person exited on the other side. More important, the neighbor has good audio. Audio that could thus pick up the sounds of two doors opening and shutting and maybe two sets of feet walking up the drive.

But dad cried looking at those videos.

So she's a super villain leaving cryptic clues in her messages? Playing out a real life Se7en plot? I'm gonna stick with her type of personality just can't or refuses to communicate past a college party girl level. She's stuck at that mental age, and her style of communication shows it.

Yeah, we know the "why" of her cryptic comments; and by that, I mean the psychological "why", because she's in fact remarkably consistent within it.

We just can't discuss most of them right now because she's written them on social media, which is off limits.

TS, however, is doing a great job of psychologically profiling herself on her own with them, which I suspect will be of enormous use to LE when the time comes, if they haven't already been so.

That’s really where it went off the rails for her. You can be crazy, you can be obnoxious, you can do and be almost anything in a case like this, but don’t be a person who lied, particularly about the last time the child was seen. There’s just no wiggle room there.

I was wondering about this, too. That she either left her cell phone(s) at home or elsewhere. And that maybe it became an area of interest because she had been in the DougCo search area previously?

That is a great idea - about pinpointing the location based on video.

Thanks - I find that idea a boost I needed today. It's been a bit of a bummer here today.

We had a case in the Uk some years back. A little girl called Shannon Matthews was missing for almost a month. Her mother played a big part in the media spotlight. Turned out she had arranged the "kidnapping" to claim the reward money (I know, just... ). Shannon was found alive thankfully, tied up in the accomplice's flat.

Unfortunately in this case, i just dont think Gannon is. Its a very different set of circumstances and events.

It's so awful when you realise the most realistic best outcome is bringing him home to his family for closure. I have hope that this search seems very determined and very focused.
