While we continue to debate what they might be looking for, SIX DAYS indicates to me that they're not just looking, they have found, and whatever they have found, they're looking for more.

Agreed from someone who has jogged around that S curve at least twice since Gannon went missing. I have been wracking my brain thinking about what I saw or missed seeing on the side of 105 those early mornings before all this recent snow (it's snowing again today). There is just no sign of something so bizarre. Not saying these theories couldn't happen--just agreeing they are so far fetched. I looked at the trash while I was jogging in early February. I know that sounds strange, but I did. I always look at the trash on the sides of 105 when I jog, and yes it is amazing what people toss out of their vehicles. But I absolutely saw no sign of any remains (human or otherwise), clothing, fire, woodchipping, etc etc. Not saying they couldn't be there and I missed them, but then so did all the bike riders, motorcyclists, dog walkers, etc. That area looks remote in the videos but it's really not. There's plenty of traffic.
I've got a question about snow plowing. After roads get plowed does another snow thrower/blower pass to get the snow off the edge of the road so there are no banks of snow?

Taking a moment to think outside a dreaded box. I know how things look but what if....
As of Sunday LE said they still hope to bring Gannon home alive.
Went back trough SM statement.
"I'm like, 'Why are you saying Gannon is dead?' He is not dead. We are gonna find Gannon."
...
"... We should all come together, wait until the end, and see what happens because Gannon is going to come home."
ENDANGERED: 11-year-old Colorado boy has been missing for 3 weeks

She seems so certain. Like she knows something we don’t know.
So what is it TS? What do u know? When exactly is the end? When’s he coming home alive?
Is he just gonna appear on the side of the highway like Sherri Papini? Moo

Roll call... who’s here for Gannon?!

I notice I'm refraining from 'liking' all posts hoping today will be the day.
That is because it may well not be the day, same as every other day and each ends in disappointment for all and sundry.
I'm also stepping on the brakes because by now I reckon LE knows all there is to know and quite possibly have more than enough for a prosecution, but not enough to find him. He may never be found. That's a reality we may have to face.
LE reminds us there are 2 aspects to this-
-the search for Ganon
-the investigation.
These have been overlapping since the new search began 7 days ago?
The first week was possibly lost for searching because the info available to LE was that Gannon disappeared between 3.15pm -4pm, walking, in his neighborhood to go visit his friend.
Then everything changed suddenly on the Sunday at 2pm, either as a result of the newly discovered CCTV footage or a geolocation finding from various other sources. I think it was the latter because the former would not have provided search locations, just that he allegedly did not return with his stepmother at 2.16pm, shadows notwithstanding.
Sadly I feel an arrest will occur before he is found.

I can't be sure as I don't pay that close attention to highway plowing but the plows come through, bank up the snow, that's it. Certainly there is someone who knows more than I do. People just need to drive 105, not park on it, so I have only seen snow plows.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I GUARANTEE I'd find keys with my detector, even if they're under 2 feet of snow.

Can a metal detector pick up a cell phone or remote starter (without keys)? TIA

I could make the same guarantee. My AT Pro is pretty good for forensics, but I would love to have a Minelab CTX 3030.

I can't unforget these words she said. They don't seem like the typical denial that most guilty parties put out there.

Also, SM seems to me the kind of person that is used to people doing the heavy lifting for her. I can't imagine she put too much time/ effort/ work into planning an elaborate disposal of this precious boy. Honestly she just seems too lazy to me. I can see her being the type to boss other's around to do all the work for her but I doubt very many people would go along with something like this and not crack.
My thoughts exactly.

But I also see that SM is in good shape, so while not likely to want to do the heavy lifting, I think she could do it (and be resentful about it).

And I can also see her bossing someone around to help her - and would keep up the pressure on that person not to spill the beans. She seems the type that once she makes up her mind, she doesn't change it, doesn't budge, doesn't do anything to make things smoother for others, doesn't apologize, would lie to cover a lie rather than admit a lie.

My opinion only based on what we've seen of her.

Those words could easily be an attempt to persuade the public that the person who spoke them really cares. To give false hope. To direct a search down paths that lead to nowhere. To appear normal. To provide plausible deniability down the road by saying, it couldn't have been me, I was actually out there searching, and caring, and hoping, just like all of you.

Are there any types of metal that can't be found with a metal detector? Just curious. It's good to have an expert. Thank you!

I respectfully disagree. He is certainly big enough to not need sifted for. And I don't believe she had time to do anything grotesque.

BBM

Indeed, the window of opportunity the day he went missing was too narrow for anything like that.
Factoring in drive time to and from, there was about 2.5 hours to do whatever was done.
Hopefully, she's been watched constantly since then, because if not, who's to say if she didn't do something else, on another day?
Little Faye's very recent case (and the hundreds I've read about or followed over the decades) reminds me how often someone is killed in one place, then placed in another, and also quite often, even moved to yet another, after searchers do their work.
I just hope no one had the opportunity to do any of that.
