Oh, it's just so hard to sit on one's hands!!

I have always respected Websleuths for the Terms and Conditions of posting only verified information. It is all for good reason!
Social Media is a mass of speculation, wild rumour and unsubstantiated theories and navigating that can be cumbersome at best.
I am a part of various speculative groups on FB regarding Gannon's case. And it gets ugly. Like, stupid ugly.
But, every now and again, if one reads between the lines of authenticity and drama, just sometimes there is an insight that MSM just haven't latched onto yet. And, just sometimes, one may find a small pearl of insight that fits into the greater picture that we are finely dissecting back here at Websleuths.
These are the pearls that I *wish* we could, at times, dissect because they may be meaningful.
However, I have the utmost respect for the way Websleuths proudly and properly runs this site and this is why I come here for verified and mature discussion.

I'm still sitting on my hands, though. Because we keep asking ourselves how it was that LE came to search this particular area. Somewhere between the lines of drama and authenticity in one of these FB pages, there *may* just be some insight as to how LE got to this area. But until someone in MSM decides to investigate it further, verify it and report on it, my hands are tucked firmly under my butt
If I were to guess, it was a witness to the red truck in the area or a video or both. IMO. Maybe pings but I'm still not convinced a phone was along for the ride that day.

There’s a lot of possibilities there, but I’m not a fan of the restrained theory.

She strikes me as the type of person who uses emotional control, as opposed to physical.

He’d listen, or there would be consequences.

It would be risky to restrain him and have him walk to a vehicle in broad daylight, and I think there are more plausible explanations for his slow walk.

I think the most likely scenario explanation is that he was injured. I say that because I think that’s what precipitated all is this.

If GS appears slow-moving to the truck, I think either he did not want to go with SM or maybe his foot hurt or he had another injury.

During her initial public interview, SM told us that she took GS to GOTG on Sunday for a hike -- followed by lunch at BK. During her second published statement to local networks, she informed us how GS cut his foot on Saturday inside the garage -- injured to the point of having to bandage him while he was seated at the edge of her vehicle (but went hiking on Sunday).

While I believe GS probably cut his foot and bled in the garage at one time or another, I don't necessarily believe this occurred on Saturday as told to us.

Agreed. A hike doesn’t exactly go well with a lacerated foot. That isn’t something you just “walk off.”

First drive by of the day. It’s 25 degrees and lightly snowing. There is probably 3” of fresh snow.

There are only 3 vehicles in the staging area other than the command unit and cell tower. No activity at the most recent search area.
@Silverheels Please stay safe and don't put yourself in jeopardy. I'd rather wait for news than hear you were injured trying to keep us updated.

Just an aside, my kids are always slow moving to the car. Especially if we are late. And ESPECIALLY if they're looking at a device like a tablet or game. I did not find his pace unusual.

D

Do you have a link? I have not seen any video on either MSM or SM of the hike.
@ZhaZhaHa I think this person means the video of a previous hike (Gannon and both sisters) and that was at the top Manitou Incline and ajoining trails not the Garden of the Gods moo

Good morning. Here for Gannon! It's a whiteout snowstorm today here in the Springs.. 2 feet & still falling. Where are you Gannon? :(

You have two feet of snow in the Springs? That Palmer Divide really does divide weather. We have maybe 4-5" in Larkspur and less at the search site.

I can’t think too much into Gannon walking slowly to the car... my kids walk slowly 90% of the time that we are running errands. Unless we are headed to a birthday party or something they’re looking forward to, it’s slowww.

If this was genuinely an accident I could see her maybe breaking down at some point and telling a close relative or friend what happened. A tragic accident and panic cover up would probably leave someone traumatised though and this woman doesn’t seem concerned about anything but herself imo.

AS is going through unimaginable heart break, the woman he invited into his children’s lives is looking pretty suspicious right now, he will be thinking over the last few months her behaviour towards Gannon and when she speaks of him. He may well have noticed she treats Gannon differently to the other kids. But that’s no reason for him to have ever suspected she would kill his son. It would only be natural for him to feel guilt, even though he is not to blame. There is no rule book on how to act in this situation in front of the media and police and people everywhere, he could have social anxiety which can make people seem awkward. He’s done nothing to imply that he is involved. He wasn’t even there. He’s living a nightmare right now and it’s all slowly starting to sink in. JMO MOO

Anybody who thinks that the slow/odd way that Gannon appears to be moving toward the truck in the neighbor's video could be due to his ankles/feet being tied or restrained?

This is pure speculation, but maybe this could be connected in some way to TS's presplaining statement about a cut or slice on his foot. If she felt the need to restrain him, maybe it was because he was threatening to run away, and that was the seed of the runaway part of her story in the first place.

Also maybe if he was restrained with cord or zipties or something like that which were later discarded, it could be something they are sifting for in the snow.
It is quite possible and equally possible they were cut before she parked up and made him walk to his final destination... that thought keeps recurring when I hear people discussing her capacity to carry him a distance... she most likely did not... Just my thoughts, not exactly an opinion, more of a possibility.
It's possible he was in a weakened state from the night before for some reason, did not want to travel with her... whatever.. JMO

Luckily for everyone almost all criminals are not intelligent. It is why they decided their problems could be solved by a crime in the first place.

Exactly! These are people who think the best resolution to their issues is murder? Dumbbells. Even those criminals that have high IQ’s have low EQ’s.

Yes but most of the time I’ve found that the “facts” of social media are false. That’s the problem I guess.

Well, some folks don't have social media.... maybe one of you that does, could ask one of those twittering reporters about whatever it is? Would that help get it noticed by MSM?

I'm in the wrong line of work. Kicking myself now that I did not become an El Paso County LE.

GANNON UPDATE: the highly populated search area from Monday is now deserted a day later. We are seeing only a few vehicles at the command post as well. @KDVR @channel2kwgn

Nicole Fierro on Twitter
Do you recall the LE PR woman stating some searching would possibly involve ropes into ravines and the like? we have not seen that yet.. Link posted last night by me and twice posted today.. somewhere here, I'm pathetic, I can't look..

This is an interesting question. There have been "accounts" non-msm, that say the relationship was not strong. Take that with a grain of salt. It's telling that she was kicked out of the house the day the video was seen. It's also odd, though, that she was "thanking" her husband in one of her statements. Indication of some support being shown towards her by him? Maybe, but tend to doubt. Or, could be her way to express to him she still loves him? I suspect LE had asked AS to be as "normal as possible" around/to her and not to trigger her emotionally while it was still early in the investigation and she was "cooperating" and "talking". I do wonder what goes through his mind and what he believes happened.
I think we can make an assumption based on his reaction to the neighbor's video : "But their neighbor, Roderrick Drayton, claims Gannon's father broke down in tears and said she was lying after he saw the video."
Surveillance video may show Gannon Stauch leaving with stepmom - KRDO

False; and/or nobody remembers where they found them; or it's unsearchable because the network software is, for all intents and purposes, useless in terms of indexing for the layperson; and/or can't use them because the OP has in fact deleted them; etc., etc.
