So, some more pondering going on in my head. Regarding the neighbor or some other possibility of a different perp, I think my mind would be more open to looking at other possibilities if TS had never opened her mouth or said anything. If she hadn’t, who knows if she would have the scrutiny on her that she does? It’s because of everything that she said that I can’t make any other scenario makes sense or seem logical.

Actually they have addressed this....“In any case … if there’s anybody that’s threatening any person, they need to contact law enforcement wherever they’re at,” Mynatt tells PEOPLE. “They need to contact that agency and report those threats and harassment or whatever else they might be exposed to, because it is a crime.”
Which makes me think it’s more TS lies. But it still doesn’t show any effort on LE to clear anything up in peoples minds about TS

Except Gannon's garage only has the 1 door leading to the outside, and that's the main car door. There isn't any other exit to the outside.

Let us also note the Stauch' garage doors are not included in the video image provided by RD to LE. There appears to be some distance, however small, between where the garage doors exist and where the edge of the video frame aligns. There might be enough dead-zone area where a someone could casually walk along the Stauch front property and never appear on RD's camera recordings.

Not knowing any of the main players in this case One thing that intially struck me about RD is in one of the tv interviews with him he spoke of GS in past tense , something like "he was a good kid" and that was 1 week after GS went missing. So, there's that. And I keep thinking I've seen a crime movie that had a helpful neighbor that eventually became the perp, can not remember the name of the movie. That said at first I usually suspect just about everyone that could have had something to do with it and then eliminate as time goes along. I've been very wrong about many individuals in recent cases and am in process of recalibration of my hinky/guilty meters so my false positives hopefully decrease over time.
Recalibrating is always good. I find myself doing that. However, did you imply that DR is guilty in GS's disappearance? I might be confused.

Perp DNA mixed with blood of a murder victim isn't necessarily circumstantial although by definition, it is considered as such. How/why else would perp DNA be mixed with a murder victim's blood, but I suppose sticking to a strict definition makes prosecutors' lives easier....
This is why under the law there’s a strict definition of “circumstantial”. Because otherwise, people would go to prison or receive the death penalty on claims that their DNA was found mixed with the victim’s blood, therefore we have direct knowledge that they killed the victim.

Juries are interesting.

There have been many no body cases where convictions came swiftly. Once the jury is convinced that there's foul play and that the person is no more, juries take very seriously whatever evidence the perp did leave behind.

Such as blood in the house, or on a gate. Videos. Shuffling of cars. Turning off of phones or other devices. Leaving a device somewhere during the time the crime was likely committed. Fingerprints on shovels. DNA on shovels or other tools. GPS and Google data.

They also listen carefully to witness testimony. Statements about the defendant's relevant past character and behavior, especially in regard to the victim. Witnesses that may have observed violent behavior or abuse. Witnesses who were asked to say something in favor of the defendant that constituted a lie. Statements about possible motives and triggers.

Witnesses can also establish discrepancies and lies concerning other evidence. A lying defendant always makes a jury take notice (even if the defendant isn't on the stand, if they've made SM or public statements that are at variance with each other, that's very much the kind of thing juries want to see).

In this case, the expert witness testimony about SM might be crucial and quite damning. Maybe.

Is RD considered a witness? Asking primarily because we had some people in the past who seemed to believe his information would be considered third-hand, at best. I don't agree; thus why I'm wondering.

If LS were charged I would think RD would be called to testify about how he found the video a week or so later (or whenever he found it) and what he did with it.

I don't think he'd be allowed to testify about AS's reaction to the video because that would be a second-hand account, and was a third-hand account when the reporter said what RD said about what AS said/did. (And BTW, it would have been odd to me if AS hadn't cried seeing a video of his kid when the kid had been missing nearly a week.)

I know there's been a lot of conversation about house cameras, is anyone familiar or driven down their street to know how many houses have cameras? Previously someone mentioned Gannon's family even had one on their house, although I wouldn't put it past a certain individual to have erased the footage. Specifically wondering about the house across the street and neighbors to the left who would have better vantage of the side gate and passenger side of the truck.

Praying this is the day Gannon is found!

RSBM

The google street view definitely shows a Ring cam on their front porch just to the left of their front door.

I must have missed where people stated they do not believe RD.

I believe RD reported what he saw (in the video), but that doesn't mean he saw everything the video actually depicts.

Yes, you must have missed it.

The thought occurred to me as well. Just a thought...

Yes, it is incriminating evidence but people can still make inferences or assumptions. (TS could say she cut herself while she was bandaging his foot.)

With Direct Evidence no other assumptions can be made as the person was actually witnessed committing a crime. It is the best evidence there is for the prosecution, but when there is no DE they need to rely on CE. Which is probably why this type of investigation can take so long. Imo

AFAIK it's the only time she's mentioned it to MSM. Just the generic "shopping" without any details.
And this was before or after the neighbors video came out?

RD is more likely going to be an unsung hero in all this. JMO His unreleased vids may truly be “the break they needed.”

By the way, many people on here have spoken of GS in past tense. Same with journalists. Same with other neighbors at candlelight vigil. It likely indicates that our hearts fear he’s gone. Probably same for RD, especially since he saw something disturbing on his vids. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

I just noticed that the fence adjacent to the garage has two gates. Strange configuration, imo.
Several houses on that street have a fence & gates like this between properties. I also thought it was an odd config as some of them actually have two fences - one on each side the property line, I assume, but with just inches between them. I've never seen that before.

The thought never occurred to me.
Because, its wrong on so many levels.
I could never blame Gannon's neighbor for his disappearance.

If someone thinks RD is guilty of Gannon's disappearance. Then that scenerios would have to be backed up with some type of facts, at least here on websleuths.
There are no facts to support that scenario.
