What if someone returned with TS that day, and got out the other side of that truck, but it was NOT Gannon?
That remains as a possibility but why sit on the rear seat? I'd expect an adult to sit up front, unless the person wanted to hide (easier on the back bench seat) until they arrived to the driveway.

Uh, because it's evidence? o_O

It most certainly is NOT evidence.
EVIDENCE is from a clear original clean copy.
Not a copy of a copy of a phone copy of a journalist

In some of the news footage where RD talks about the video evidence he found, they show a TV screen behind him with a collection of timestamped videos. In one shot it's clearly night and the times reflect that. In a different segment, it's clearly daytime, lighting is very different. Please note that the footage often shown, that's somewhat grainy, and which zooms in is most likely a phone recording, which crops a lot of the TV screen out.

I'm not sure why this is even in dispute. To what end would RD misrepresent the timing of his findings? Do you think no one would be hyper-focused on the dates and times while viewing this new evidence. It would appear that RD, AS and investigators where all shocked and upset by the new development. I'm not understanding this reluctance to accept that the video had verifiable timestamps, and was a breakthrough which threw TS's stated timeline of events into complete disarray.

Lmao. So show me the evidence of where Gannon is. Show me the evidence Gannon took off,ran away, was kidnapped.......

Forensics has been all over that house multiple times and dates and we have no idea what they have. Hec . The DA went there and spent time there.
Yes, all over that house. And there is MSM video showing team members entering and exiting and moving about in the garage. I'd expect that video trend to have continued if members of the forensics team had gathered in front of the gate to collect evidence. Could LE have requested for MSM not to show the team gathering evidence by the gate? Possible, but we just don't know.

WS is not a courtroom. ;-)

True we never heard any reports of forensic activity at the wooden gate. Neighbors would have mentioned it in all the chatter. Maybe at night & quick to avoid media frenzy?

I'm still thinking about their trash cans. It looks like on their covenant that it states they cant have trash containers out except for times of pick up which is often the case here with HOAs and covenants. You *could* keep your trash in your garage , but no one I knew did that because it stinks. Plus the garages aren't huge. We all put our garbage cans right behind the fence at the gate. Night before garbage pickup, open gate, pull can to the curb. HOW the heck do you do that if your 11 year old is the only one with a key? Maybe it was his chore? Idk. She didn't SAY that. And if he loses the key, you are gonna have fun dragging the garbage can thru your house to get it thru the garage to the curb.
Again, only if they didn't keep it in the garage. Which no one around me ever did because its trash and it stinks. Plus summer time, flies galore.
We bought in a neighborhood without those restrictions. But I lived for years here in areas where they did have them and it's not adding up to me.

To look at the exterior and interior photos, our house (which was also built in 2018 and is also a ranch style) could have been built by the same builder. I just can't find any online references that our builder built any homes in Larson Ranch. When we were specifying the options for our house, a walkthrough door out of the garage to the yard was an extra cost. There was also an option for an extra-long garage, presumably for trucks. I don't know if we could have opted for that because the floor plan of the ranch houses is long, and there wouldn't have been enough room on a small lot for an extra-length garage.

As far as speculation that an eleven-year boy could have scaled the back fence while running away if it is the same sort of fence that we have it would be a challenge without a ladder.

Our gate latch can have the staple of a lock put on from either side. As far as I've noticed in our neighborhood, most people put the lock on inside the yard.

It's rather unsettling how much some of the interior shots of the Stauch house resemble our house.

Group think,Blood Lust?????? No body is out for blood. We just want Gannon to be found. This is about Gannon after all. Gannon,Gannon,Gannon. Period. There is zero proof that Gannon exited out the truck on the other side, and cast a Peter Pan Shadow. One would have to flat out call RD a liar, and believe AL didn't react the way he did,and that LEO is exerting extreme expense, and personnel, time, for . resources, for Fun nothing but fun,and laughs.

I'd suggest the Ignore button. It makes reading this thread much easier.

I'm all for healthy debate and hearing opposing views, but some people will argue just to argue. I'm not even sure they believe the things they say. It's all about perpetuating that argument.

So I wonder if anyone has her on video at 645pm or so frantically looking in the front yard, or running door to door asking neighbors if anyone had seen him before she called to report him missing. I doubt it.

It would also be interesting to hear the initial 911 call to hear exactly what she said and amount of distress she was in.

>>>Snipped and bolded by NC Watcher<<<

She implies that he went from the garage to the gate, so that's outside, in the front of the house.

If he "kept going back" to the gate to check if it was locked, the lock had to be on the outside of the gate, since there's no way he could check a key lock, to see if it was locked, on the inside of the gate.

Not that I actually buy any of the reason TS says he was doing all that stuff, but I do think this lock she mentions has to be on the outside of the gate.

Not necessarily. If the lock is on the inside, checking to see if the gate could be opened from the outside would be one way to check to see if the gate was locked. One doesn't have to have access to the keyhole to find out if a gate or door is locked.

We don't know when they used the gate, how often they used the gate, and for what purpose (if any) they used the gate. So I don't really think we can decide which side of the gate should have the lock. If it's kept locked mainly for backyard and dog security, a lock on the inside makes perfect sense to me. Also without knowing about the use of the gate, it's hard to evaluate whether it makes sense to supposedly allow GS to have the only key.

We could find out which day their garbage was collected, perhaps?
I know LE answered a question about landfill on the first presser , linked here last night, re landfill confirming they had made enquiries.
Actually it might be worthwhile checking all garbage collections and dumpsters on the route we think she traveled, including the commercial area, though it is doubtful she would have tried that.. who knows?

i digged! Last dig.
"I just kept searching and I saw where she came back. And he didn’t get out of the vehicle. So she came back by herself about four hours later," Drayton said.

A spokeswoman for the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department said investigators have a copy of the video and do not dispute Drayton’s description of what the footage purportedly shows. The video, they caution, is only one part of the investigation.

"This is just one piece in a very, very, very large puzzle," spokeswoman Jackie Kirby told ABC News Tuesday morning
Feel free to do all the digging you like. :)

As horrible as this case is, and the likelihood of Gannon coming home alive is rather improbable, I'm actually really looking forward to seeing what evidence was actually collected (stuff we're debating right now), and how it was either ruled out as inconsequential, or ruled in as proof that there was an actual crime committed, with that house possibly being the primary crime scene. "Looking forward" sounds sort of creepy, but I just mean looking forward to being impressed by how LE do what they do, and catch the monsters that do what they do.

I do believe they will bring Gannon home, one way or another, and the person who made him disappear will pay for it.

A key word in that report:

pur·port·ed·ly

adverb
  1. as appears or is stated to be true, though not necessarily so; allegedly.

I didn't say I 'liked', it was drudgery because I had to search this site for it, no longer showing up on a general Google search.
I agree there will be a conviction but I doubt he will be found and I sincerely hope I'm wrong about that.

Yeah, I’m absolutely dying to hear that call.

I think she likely reported that alleged Google search in order to sell a false narrative:

“My stepson went to a friend’s house to play, and he didn’t come home. I looked on his phone, and he Googled if parents could track his phone if it was on. I think he ran away.”

Kids run away all the time, and generally don’t stay missing long. Law enforcement wouldn’t rush to the scene after hearing that, and it explains why they initially bit on the runaway story.
