I've said this before, and I've been wrong to the benefit of someone being found alive or closure for a family. So, I'm going for the mojo of that to break something here for Gannon's family.

I'm starting to fear that LE is spinning circles with not much to go on. I think they've obviously done so much to try to figure this out, but I think TS might be "savvy" enough to have concealed this temporarily. While I think ultimately we'll see TS charged, tried, and convicted of something..I'm worried this is going to be a long, lengthy, and painful process.

I am so nervous that will be the painful truth. It's been over 4 weeks now and who knows if poor Gannon's body (if deceased) is even intact anymore due to animals. My heart breaks for his family and it's unfair that his young innocent life was probably taken. IMO MOO, I really want to be positive, but has pings been reviewed? Why won't LE allow volunteers to search? Kind of bummed and feel like this may go cold. I hope and pray it doesn't!

My opinion stepmom is a control freak. Kids don't stand much of a chance being around her. I just bet she has played them all like puppets when the father was gone and whenever Mommy was on the phone with them. Stepmom seems to be living some kind off in an idealistic fantasy world life she pictures "as real" and sorts the good stuff out for pictures. Hushes the children to only mention "good stuff" bribes or threatens them as well. Pure nightmare to live with her in the same house. Father maybe notices she is a bit odd but NEVER expected she would lose or harm her child to the extent of what's going on now - she has even fooled him. Just had to puke this out so all my opinion.

Snipped
When asked about a rumor there was a search at a landfill, Milhako said they have been in contact, as part of their normal protocol, with local trash companies, but they were not conducting any searches at landfills.

I must have missed this. Reassuring to know it is part of their normal protocol.

I keep thinking about the <modsnip> interview with the back of her head to the camera in which she gave a very self serving interview. All about her, all about what people owed her, all about how Gannon missing affected her inasmuch as what was being said about her online.

No pleas for his safe return, just concern about finding him to prove her right to get apologies out of everyone who she left slighted her. I’d never seen anything like it.

This woman doesn’t have a maternal bone in her body. My heart aches for Gannon and what he was subjected to, being raised by this narcissistic female. JMO

And yes, I know it’s been discussed a bazillion times but we’ve got nothing new to talk about. IMO

What is interesting is LE wording "its part of the investigation."

Does anyone remember that California murder about 10 years ago? A gal had rented a car while visiting her friend. The friend was supposed to drop off the car at the rental place. She did. But only after she "barrowed" it and used it in the murder. Her friend never knew this had transpired...

So, an alternative to "she rented a car" is she could have "temporarily barrowed" someone else's rental car.

[But then there is Jodi Arias who rents one outright with died hair...ugh].
IMO, LE checking rentals is common practice anymore simply bc of technology packages. I’d never go to a rental agency ever. But then again....

Normally I would agree with you and u may be right. But I have found this group of dedicated LE agencies to be particularly good at keeping things very quiet and on the down low. There have been undisclosed search locations we still don’t know about. Very little leaks other than the video that may have been intentional and what comes from TS. Shoot we almost didn’t even know about the return to the search area on Friday if it hadn’t been for one media outlet. Which btw I don’t think they woke up saying oh let’s search this area for 3 more hours today and then call it done. Something made them abruptly stop and then revisit the home for a long time. Could it have been what was discovered in another undisclosed search area? Maybe/maybe not. But I think this group could keep us guessing without a media frenzy. IMO
I definitely agree (and have been impressed) with the lack of leaks and how tightly they’ve kept things, I find it’s relatively unusual - and good on them.

All the more sign that this is a criminal case, where they know any leaks could taint the jury pool, or alert a suspect, etc.

Other than what LS said to the minor daughter in the interview with the reporter and how you think the daughter may have responded, she is 17 and is off limits for general discussion and speculation about any possible involvement.

I thought they kept Kelsey's case buttoned up tight as well - IMO

I really thought for awhile that maybe she was ‘savvy’ enough to plan, pull this off and not get caught, at least temporarily. But, the more she opened her mouth (or typed), all lies and inconsistencies started falling out, I started to wonder if it wasn’t that she is ‘savvy’ enough to pull this off or if she just got really lucky.

I now think it’s honestly just luck. She got lucky that within a couple days of GS disappearance it snowed, and not just a dusting. Which of course makes me unreasonably mad, people who hurt children should not have luck on their side. They deserve the full force of bad karma, hopefully it will catch up to her soon.

In my opinion: <modsnip> interview was her turning her back to the world so she could center "herself" into a more comfortable position - Not to center Gannon (turning her back on Gannon, he is not important)as to the one who is most important. She wants to not think about him, only about what she has to say about herself and the NORMAL hiked, ate... impression. Seemed she had so much more to say about the common wonderful adventures she wants to fill us full to believe but stopped. My opinions

I feel that this case has gone cold. I really hope I am wrong but, it seems IMO to be slowing down. Please find this sweet boy! Here for Gannon!

Has anyone reached out to Spencer Wilson, the interviewing reporter, as a 'curious citizen' asking basic background questions on the interview? He may say nothing, or that he can't talk to you, but we could ask innocuous questions like who initiated the interview (MSM or TS), who provided the questions (MSM or TS), why did she not show her face, was anything edited out per LE... etc. The guy seems pretty available on Twitter - perhaps he'd be open to a message?
JMT (just my thoughts)

I can’t help but feel we should stop bringing up the stepdaughter. She’s underage and while the MSM interview is one thing, we shouldn’t be speculating her involvement. At this point, no new information is coming out so we shouldn’t wildly speculate things that are not backed by any shred of fact. MOO
Thank you, this expresses my thoughts perfectly as well.

I did have a look to see if his DMs were open on Twitter for that very purpose, but nope:(

MOO the SM did it isn't "very, very, very" complex.
Maybe a huge search area qualifies.

Well, if there are multiple vehicles involved, that's more complex. If the perp took a Wild Goose Chase approach to hiding evidence, that's another layer of complexity. If there's mental illness involved, another layer. If the family dynamics are unstable and conflict-ridden, that's another layer.

Also, there are so many SM statements by various parties (LS, allegedly AS, HH, LH, LH's family, LS's family - including mom and at least 1 sister), it's a formidable task to keep track. Think of the subpoenas that must be readied, just to get at a fraction of what's in the cloud. As the video from surveillance all over CS comes in, LE has to view it and then go interview (which it seems they are doing - as there is SM from people who've been contacted). It reminds me of those cartoon signs where arrows point in many directions.

My heart goes out to LE on this one.

I keep thinking about the “ Cousin It” interview with the back of her head to the camera in which she gave a very self serving interview. All about her, all about what people owed her, all about how Gannon missing affected her inasmuch as what was being said about her online.

I’ve never seen anything like it either.

A child is missing, and the priority should be getting the word out. An on camera interview is one of the best ways to do that.

But she didn’t show her face, and the focus was on herself. Either one of those things alone would be concerning, but they occurred simultaneously.

She claimed she didn’t want to be seen because of threats she received. Strangely, her Facebook page was still open, and she was posting for the world to see.

So her reasoning doesn’t only not hold water, but it’s patently absurd.

Not only have I never seen this behavior from an innocent person, but I haven’t seen it from a guilty person either.

Talk about nuts.

If more than one vehicle was in use, which seems to be the case, imo, that is a "complicated puzzle." And then there are layers of lies, which are a "complicated puzzle."

At this point, I don't think there are multiple people involved, so the puzzle pieces are the cars/movement and the lies.

All that complication when the question is simple: Where is Gannon?
