Ah speaking of which. I didn’t follow that case but isn’t it true she went missing on Thanksgiving and PF was arrested almost 1 month to the day and at that time they announced they didn’t believe Kelsey was alive?
that's about the right timeframe - IIRC. the press conference with her mom was almost unbearable - such class and grace under unbearable news IMO.

I wish we knew why they haven't conducted more ground searches or called upon citizen volunteers to help. If they believe GS did not return with TS on Jan. 27th, why haven't they asked the public if they had seen the vehicle on the day in question?

What do they know, that has caused them to not ask for the publics assistance other than, if you have any tips, please contact...?

MOO

I think they have enough data that they've been able to physically contact businesses and people with cameras. As they get that data, they know where to find more data. I am guessing that if we could see LE's version of a map, the whereabouts of the red truck are known and documented, probably down to the level of where that truck stopped. They probably know where there are video dead zones (no cameras at all) and have interviewed people in those areas. Way better to go to the people who live along that road, than to put out a public call for all sightings of any red truck (the public is not discerning) and thereby flood their tip line.

They did go door to door in the Stauch's neighborhood, and there are a lot of cameras there. That establishes one set of facts. And they did contact people around the other search areas. They may have what they need, in regard to that red truck.

People's memories of an event that happened 4 weeks ago are dim, but many people will scour their minds and end up thinking they did see a red (or possibly other color) truck and there are just too many trucks around for that to result in much help. Good old footwork is more important here.

Tipline remains open if anyone sees or remembers anything.

Speaking for myself, I think my resistance to anything "complicated" is because complication = planning. It's hard to accept the idea she might have planned this, rather than his disappearance being a spur-of-the-moment cover-up.

Both are horrible, but intentionally planning his disappearance is beyond evil. And it's easy to resist thinking that level of evil is possible, especially by someone in a mothering role.

I lean toward all this being a hurried cover-up, but I honestly don't know what to think.

:( :(

Complicated can certainly mean planning - but not necessarily. The behavior of panicked people can be both complex and mysterious. I know more about people who go missing in the wilderness, but some of what they do under duress is really hard to understand (not as complex as in an urban setting, I'd say).

At some point in this story, someone planned Gannon's disappearance, of that I am sure. He didn't accidentally disappear. It could still be fairly spur-of-the-moment. That particularly Monday had to have been a very very busy day for whoever disappeared Gannon.

I've seen this "Jimmy" mentioned before (which is odd, since the original story was that TS didn't have a name or know which friend Gannon went to go play with), but I don't think I've ever seen a link to where this came from.
Apologies... I did think the Jimmy info was MSM but now I cannot find a link so I must have gotten it mixed up. TBH, it's all getting so convoluted. Need to go back and read and watch interviews to refresh.

My opinion. Stepmom would say " I have taken care of and loved those children as my own." NOT in a manner as to insult another person that isn't able to even be with the children due to distance. Almost seems she tried to make it appear they were rescued and she is such a hero to take them in - if she loves them - you don't try to dirty the Biological Mom, God forbid she tried to take true Mommy Love away from them. I hate to say the children were mostly looked at as her little puppets to use as she wished. My opinions. Lots going on in her relationship with husband and Biological mom. Probably angry as well, children are work and she maybe couldn`t handle it and got into some situations where her little puppets got in her way. My thoughts. So sad, want him to have felt loved before missing and to know people love him still and just want some answers.
What was most telling to me and absolutely sealed SM's involvement in my mind was her reply when asked 'What would you say to Gannon right now'- her reply blew my mind. It was as if she was continuing to manipulate and punish this missing child. JMO

Yes, that's usually the question when family members break down crying and say, "I love you. We want you home. We love you! We're looking for you."

Exactly. There was none of that. Just come home so everyone can apologize to me, mostly your dad. Wow.

I definitely agree (and have been impressed) with the lack of leaks and how tightly they’ve kept things, I find it’s relatively unusual - and good on them.

All the more sign that this is a criminal case, where they know any leaks could taint the jury pool, or alert a suspect, etc.
v good point. CO sadly has experienced a staggering amount of high profile cases which requires intricate team work, coordination, and effort, I think their (LE & all the alphabets) muscles have proven to be very strong and patient.

I like to have something on while I work, and today I have on Homicide Hunter (which for any that aren't familiar, is a detective here in Colorado Springs with cases in the Springs.) The one that just came on was a body found at Fontaine and Marksheffel, strangely enough where Gannon's home is located. This was many years ago, and it is interesting to see how much has been built up in recent years. (This man's body was found at a junkyard or landfill-looking area).

Why the searches in the Larkspur area? As mentioned, it is not a logical to place for the SM to go if dumping evidence. However Larkspur is close to interstate 25, and is roughly halfway between Lorson Ranch (LR) southeast of Colorado Springs and Denver.

Chances are that LE has tracked the SM to the Larkspur area on that Monday around midday. They may have located places where her car/phone was stationary on the side of the road, and these were the areas that were searched (S). If she chose to go to that area, it was for a reason; and I don't think a random dumping site is one of them.

Could the SM have travelled north to this somewhat illogical area to hand off GS to someone from the north.

Unlikely, but not out of the question...where is Gannon?

“It’s your fault Gannon. You need to say sorry for what you made me do.”
To me, this is what she sounds like she is saying. Blames everything on everybody else. Her actions are never her fault, it’s what other people “made” her do.

I think a huge key to solving this would be what the daughters have to say.
They would know what state Gannon was in Sunday night... what, if anything, took place that evening, and how he was acting the following morning, how he was normally treated, etc etc etc
Even if LS was trying to hide some things from them, that house isn't that large, and I know from my own experiences as a child, even when things are trying to be hidden kids are a lot smarter than you think they are.
IMO
Ain’t that the truth, I was pretty snooopy as a kid. Haha

Are those quotes an interpretation or language she used in the Reporter Interview, just don’t remember that, thanks.

It is almost like she is thinking this child GS is responsible for getting what she feels she deserves (a sorry) in the end of this HORRIBLE nightmare. I just want to scream at her. My opinion

Things I would like to ask LS:
-What is the official "story"? Did Gannon go play with a friend, leave with an unknown person, or runaway?
-What was Gannon wearing when he went missing?
-Why didn't he have his cell phone?
-Why did you take him hiking if he had a cut on his foot?
-What did he do Monday before and after the shopping trip while he was at home?
-Why did you back into the driveway before Gannon got in the truck?
-Where were you Monday between the hours that the video surveillance shows you leaving the house and returning?

What am I missing?

I have all the confidence in LE that they are on the right track and will solve Gannon's case. We need to be patient with them!

Thinking of you everyday, Gannon!

You better believe if I heard my brother getting into trouble I was listening to find out why! My 3 kids are the same way.

It’s my interpretation of what she said, not her actual words.

This is exactly what I think. I don't think they would have wasted the time or efforts focused there otherwise.
