I just watched a KKTV video of the 12 oclock news and she stated they were bringing equipment into the home. I wish I could link it, but can't find it on MSM yet.
Live Newscasts

Maybe they will repeat it on the hour? If so this is the link to the live feed.

I have a feeling an arrest will be made very soon.

Hi everyone. I have followed lots of cases, but none have consumed me the way Gannon has. I have my own 11 year old boy, with a birthday within mere days of Gannon. He looks very similar to my son and listening to Landen describe him and how he loved telling corny jokes made me tear up. So similar to my own child. I have held him many times since then, drawing out a hug as he attempts to pull away and tearing up thinking of GS. Wondering where he is and how long his mother must wait for answers. Whoever is responsible is so incredibly cruel. No mother deserves to live in this uncertain hell LH has been placed in. I so badly want to think there is a chance she will hug her boy again too. Gannon deserves to feel his mother's love.

I have thought a lot about what possibly happened. I mostly agree with those of you that think she flipped out, injured him Sunday and then realized she had to disappear him or too much was to be lost for her. Looking at my own boy yesterday I imagined if I could ever become so angry at him I would hurt him. No, never. But I pressed myself, but what if you did get so mad you hit him and hurt him? What would you do? No question. I would get help. It was as I had these thoughts I knew TS never could have loved GS. She had to just see him as a burden and this was just one more time he was "messing" things up for her. She had time to think and consider her response to his injuries. She had plenty of time between Sunday night and Monday to decide she would do the right thing, but she didn't. This was premeditated.

I just am not sure how far back it went. I have had this idea rolling in my head for a few weeks TS could have had a "kidnapping" planned. Dealing with a few narcissists in my own life they love to play the victim. Really no extreme they won't go to I have found. Willing to concoct great tales to get attention or what they want. So suppose AS was unhappy with her. He had hinted at divorcing or a separation. I think it is possible TS could think something like an "abduction" would save their marriage. She envisioned them growing closer again as they had vigils for a missing child. AS would lean on her and she could reel him back in her trap. Not logical, but people like this aren't logical. She may have been planning it or flirting with the idea for a bit, but when she hurt GS she decided the plan had to be put into motion now. Except, nothing worked out like she planned. AS kicked her out. LH was in the house and she wasn't. The public was calling her out on her lies and now TS has herself backed into a corner. I tried to think of who might go along with this for her and all I could think was a young male, possibly someone isolated, a loner, TS had been manipulating for awhile. I just can't figure out how she would explain a hurt GS to this person or how she would be communicating with this person and LE not have a direct link to who it is. That is why I mostly go back to the odds being about 99% she acted alone and GS disappearing was an act done by TS alone and this ending is going to be a very, very sad one. I hope with everything in me I am wrong. So many nights I have laid awake wondering where GS is and why LH has to keep waiting. I am so sad this kind of evil exists.

Welcome @Kismet7 ! Great first post! Your first paragraph especially got me, as I've done/felt the same! We're all here for Gannon, praying today is the day he is found!

I'm not sure how the National Guard works but would Gannon's dad be considered active military and if so, would military police investigators also be involved?

Did they say what kind of equipment?

This is a question for the locals. I am not a local by any stretch of the imagination so I'm trying to get a sense of the weather. Yup...my mind has wandered to the weather.

In looking at the picture of the Crime Lab Van outside the Stauch home, I see no snow really. Maybe a trace here or there but I'm looking at straight up grass in front of that house.

@Silverheels was posting yesterday about horrible weather and I saw images on Twitter about freezing temps and blowing snow.

What is the weather like today?

The reason I ask is that numerous theories point to Gannon being found close to home. If no snow at home, searches in a relatively close area could turn up something. But as far as we know, there have been no current searches close to home.

The area searched last week where they were located for a close to 5 days is further north I think. Is there still snow there and treacherous conditions?

When does a spring thaw typically happen in Colorado?

I was in Wellington, Colorado several years ago in May. It was beautiful one day and then a snowstorm hit, and then the next day, all the snow was gone. Is that typical Colorado weather?

Sorry for the rambling but I'm working on a timeline for when it is realistic to expect Gannon to be found.

TIA

The weather here today is bright and sunny. Warm(ish). But that's how weather here is. We can get 6 inches of snow overnight, and by noon there will be nothing but wet roads and sunshine. This month it has been snowier than usual, and it has been snowing one day, then nice and sunny the next, then snow again.

Waiting . . . always hoping for good news, until I'm proven wrong.

The Crime Lab back at the house. Third or fourth time?

Literally makes no sense to me.

And I don't take it as a good sign.
Do you mean not a good sign that they have anything yet? Or not a good sign that Gannon is alive,or both?

Just in case anyone is unfamiliar.....By law medical personnel (doctors, nurses, etc), teachers, school employees, and LE are all mandated reporters. That means that anytime they suspect neglect or abuse of any level, they MUST report it. As someone with a degree in education who worked in school(s), T would know this and stand to loose her career, marriage, etc. if Gannon went to school OR she took him to get medical attention on Monday.

To further illustrate this: I had a friend whose kid was hurt playing ball down the street with some neighborhood kids. She took him to get stitches. The doc at the hospital had a duty to report it and it was investigated. Mandated reporting.
Not every injury children get are reported. Injuries that don't align with the story told would be reported.

The house is far south, and the search area near Larkspur is far north. And with elevation differences, the weather can be very, very different. I am north Springs. I have tons of snow in my front yard and my back yard and even on my street. The next few days are warming up to 40s and even 50s, so weather should be really nice. (Now that I said that, watch, we will get another snow squall warning this afternoon!)

the amount of times LE has been to that home tells me more then anything that this is a criminal investigation, LE doesn't believe Gannon ran away for one second and I hope they are almost to the point to where a arrest can be made and then maybe she will tell where Gannon is.....IMOO

I agree. LE appears to not be searching in other states, or publicizing sketches of potential suspects, or addressing locals about potential kidnapping, or doing ANYTHING other than searching the already known to us areas (and likely some areas unknown to us) AND....wait for it....

Searching and combing through and being in and all over THAT HOUSE where 't' lived with Gannon!

ALL roads in this case end in a 't'
't' has the answers
't' was last to be with and see Gannon
't' is, has been, and will continue to be the focus.

MOO, and it's just my gut feeling here, but I am ready to hear just how hellish this particular crime was. I expect to be shocked.

Or if he's injured and she tells him she's taking him to the hospital, take this medicine it will help with the (whatever the problem is, pain?) 11 year olds can swallow pills and Benadryl is on the small side
Something like Benadryl would put him to sleep, but is very unlikely to outright kill him.

What I think is more likely in that scenario, is Benadryl combined with asphyxiation.

Just adding, I always always always check weather AND roads before I leave. Weather does change quickly here. And where I live is really hilly, so icy hills are not fun. I am the irritating voice that my kids all hear constantly, letting them know what the changes in the weather are. If not, you go out in shorts and end up freezing in weather in the single digits. It can change quickly. And yes, snow melts quickly. Except for my street. Lots of trees. And I'm pretty sure I have snow in my back and front yards for probably 9 months out of the year.

Not likely, lack of jurisdiction

#UPDATE: The metro crime lab is back at the home of a missing 11-year-old boy, #GannonStauch. Investigators have told us before, “We are making progress, and that is as specific as we can be in this investigation at this point in time.” #FindGannon
I feel as though we will be getting a real update soon. I have been following this case since almost the beginning and the closer we get to seeing progress I feel every emotion there is sadness, fear, anxiety and anguish. Please bring Gannon home soon.
