Off topic....
To all the locals there in Co Springs, I heard a winter storm is headed your way. My granddaughter will be flying there and I’m worried about the weather and roads. Her little sister from her dads second marriage has just died there tonight in a car accident. She was just 15. if any of you pray, please pray for my granddaughter and her dad and stepmom. I know they are all heartbroken. I can’t even imagine. :(:(:(
Oh no. I am so incredibly sorry. My heart just hurts for your granddaughter and your family. I will definitely be praying for all of you!
Is she flying in soon? Our weather here looks really calm and nice for the next several days. It will be warming up to 40s and 50's. It looks like a possibility of some snow Sunday evening. But even if it gets chilly again, the warm roads should help keep them all decent. Where is she flying in? Is she coming into Denver or Springs? You can send me a private message if you want. I will help any way that I can.

They could easily have erected a screen.. instead they drive us all batcrap crazy..
A large item.. don't they have zoom lenses on those cameras? Of course they do. All kinds of gadgets..
If something big is just now going to the lab it could be thread 25 before anything.
I had my heart set on it being thread 20.. not a hope...

I'm with you Kitty, well said!

And Flaming Jane, I share your thoughts, the trash cans are outside the gate, so blood traces would have come from Gannon smearing it after the foot injury, NOT LS trying to dispose of evidence... I have a sibling, who I am quite confident is a sociopath, for years I tried to fit her into the narcissist/histrionic/borderline spectrum... but not until someone suggested that THEIR Own daughter was sociopathic, did I go back and research...all of my sister’s unexplainable(for lack of a true descriptive word) behaviors were classic...I am quite convinced that if my sister were smarter, she would be dangerous and in jail...fortunately, she has married someone who holds her in bounds, and sadly covers for her petty evils...She has two sons who I believe she loves, but as objects ( think cars, ), not as persons...there are such similarities in THE INTERVIEW to my sister’s personality, and it isn’t just the past tense, it is the lack of empathy, not as if she does not care, it is more profound, LS does not know how to care, she may try to act as if she cares, but she really can’t...to cut this shorter, if she harmed him? Quite possibly, either in a rage, or to coverup accident...what I do find puzzling, is that to be capable of the grand coverup/premeditation, it requires some degree of intelligence AND energy, or pure luck...

The one plus side to all the commotion today, to me...It seems they knew precisely what they were there for, and once they had those items, they left immediately.

They’re not grasping at straws. They have something. And I have hope we won’t have to wait too long to find out what that something is.

#GannonStauch investigators did their best backing the vans up near the garage and blocking our view but a large thing wrapped in brown paper was just carried out and put in to that secondary van. Once it was in, it left immediately. @FOX21News

Here for Gannon.

Please join for a minute of silence and prayers each day at 7pm, in honor of this innocent, beautiful child... and in support of his family and dedicated law enforcement working on this investigation.

Not sure...looks like the tweets are over a 6 hour time frame.

But if the something they have taken was taken from the house, and we know Gannon left the house alive at 10'ish Monday and believe (as most here seem to) that he never returned alive or not, I'm not sure how incriminating anything they could find at the house would be unless they've found a body. Which it appears they clearly have not. So idk. Seems to me like just some more "investigating." jmo

eta: what I mean by "unless they've found a body" isn't that they might have found a body at the house. I meant they couldn't have found any direct evidence of murder at the house today, imo, unless they'd found a body elsewhere (e.g.,the body was tied with rope and the rope was found at the house). Oy. Sorry.

Oh, Oh...spraying the area again with Luminol, laying the brown paper over the top in hopes of transferring an image of a small body? Just my imagination getting the worst of me!
I've seen a black shiney transfer "paper" which might be what everyone sees as plastic bags. Moo

Ok..... LS does an interview.
LE ends up at the home taking things out.

Video is released. GS doesn't return with LS.
LE ends up at the home taking things out.

LS releases a statement.
LE ends up at the home taking things out.

LS doesn't remain quiet.
LE ends up at the home taking pictures.

LS never keeps her trap shut.
LE end up at the home, backed in driveway, taking things out in paper bags.

1. Do we see a pattern here?

2. If he ran away or was abducted, why do they KEEP going back to the house and taking things out!!!!

I am sorry if this isn't contributing much (it's just one of my ignorant questions) but I have been on airplanes the past couple of days and have not been able to keep up on this and research it like I normally do but here goes: Is there any other cases in which evidence collection has continued like this? This case seems to have behaviors from several different types of investigations that seem to happen in little spurts at different times. Does anyone know of when investigators have conducted themselves like this?

My last post (which was my first one!) tried to look at how LS’ statements are pre-selected to explain away her guilt should suspicion rest on her in the future.

But I feel like, for the sake of honesty, I should also mention one incongruency.

For most women, if they had been involved in their step son’s disappearance, they would not be able to maintain such a happy, positive tone of voice throughout that whole interview.
A Psychopath would be able to smile while her children burned in front of her face. A person with Narcissistic Personality Disorder would also not get that she did anything wrong since life is ALL about HER! We have seen in her a side of evil mental illness that no one wants to see. Normal, healthy people do NOT make their children/stepchildren just disappear.

It would be incriminating if it supported the account of a potential witness.

It’s one thing if one of the kids say they saw something (like an act of abuse), but you’d still want physical evidence to corroborate that.

So I’m wondering if it’s something along those lines.

True. They were there for a long time, but went in and came out purposefully both times.

Evidence collection takes time, but it feels to me like they prepared and knew what they were there for. Just my opinion.

A child's mattress would have fit in the CSI
I watched it full screen and saw a white rim, which looked more like a piece of furniture.
I can't tell whether it was something removed from garage or house.
Maybe something they already tested and decided to take the whole thing away- mattress or underside of a piece of furniture?? Depth of penetration?
I will stop now before I drive myself and everybody else nuts.
Has anybody got facility to observe it on a v large screen at all?
Any clues from that?

No, not just a body incriminates.
So does:
~ Blood residue
~ DNA from blood that has seeped into floorboards
~ Vomit and urine
~ Saliva where it doesn't belong
~ And God forbid...semen
