The pain his parents are in... needing to know what happened but probably afraid too, because once you know you can never go back to before you knew. For now, there's still that thread of painful hope to hold onto, that no one wants to have to let go of.

I am moved by the efforts of LE, horses and dogs to bring Gannon home.

She must of not of been that afraid, she went shopping. She could have sent her mother/daughter to get things if she was afraid of ANYTHING. IMO

Looking at the region around the new command post, well, there's all kinds of rough places there, bring it up on google earth and look at it, huge junk car lots, pre cast concrete mfr. facility (this place alone looks to afford a couple hundred hiding places), some wooded area, construction sites, row upon row of cars, trailers, etc., wow, it's just a hodgepodge of industrial sites galore.

I'm not seeing this turning out good. For Gannon to be alive, he'd have to be with someone for the past week, so that would mean abduction or kidnapping. Otherwise, I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain of a tragic outcome.

You are correct. It’s all industrial and LE over there. When I heard they’d moved the command center to that area due to info, I thought there’s no way that’s good. That’s not exactly an area I would consider a nice part of town.

Gannon didn't get to where they're searching now on foot. In fact, there's no video confirmation he left HIS HOUSE on foot.

I have my theory and I don't like it.

Following along quietly and have missed large portions of reading. Sorry if this has already been mentioned. I can see Gannon going to a friend's house after school hours and the friend not knowing he was coming if Gannon was going to get homework assignments from the friend if they were in the same grade. Now do I really believe that was what was going to happen? Nah. I'm still on the fence about what really happended to him though. Weather he is missing accidently or on purpose though, I do know that sadly he has been gone too long and it's not looking too good for him. I feel so sad for his BD and BM.

I suspect one or the other, or both, will happen real soon. By now, I'm sure the police have handed off step-mom's phone to the tech forensic folks to let them work their magic, and I'm also sure they've already pulled her phone records. She'll either be cleared or arrested and I think that will happen very soon.

Interesting move, over there to Las Vegas street. IMO that area is industrial, and dangerous. Lots of mechanic shops, tow truck shops. A bit down and out. The jails. There is a pretty notorious park for the homeless. Not the best part of town. Just my observation of that area that Las Vegas is on. Jmo imo

Oh, I'm thinking that LE was told by SM that one of the first things she did when she realized GS hadn't come home was to check his phone for his friends' phone #s, checked to see if he'd called anyone, looked at his text messages, etc.

So, of course, it would only make sense that her prints would be found on his phone.

This is my thought. I think they are humoring the search parties and the abducted theory while they get more together.

Seriously, I believe her. I believe she believes what she is saying. I believe she’s being truthful. She is deceptive by omission. The interviewer did a good job leading the conversation with open ended questions allowing her to freely express her words.

Will Gannon come home alive and safe? I don’t know.
Will she receive apologies? I think so.

It's already feeling really chilly. Took the pups out this morning and it's getting cold. I don't even want to think about that sweet boy out in this. They are saying up to 6 inches for our area, but possibly more if you get a band sitting on you. But it's the temps that are so troubling. Last I checked, I saw 2 below as a low for tomorrow, and with wind chills, I don't even want to think about it. This little guy is on my mind 24/7. He probably has no idea how many people already love him.
