Where did you hear that it was the neighbor ?
Sorry if it was posted and I missed it.
I'm pretty sure it was the step mother who made the 911 call.

During the Press Conference the lieutenant stated that at approximately 6:55, they recieved a call for a runaway child. He then went on to say that Gannon was entered into a state database as a runaway, and then they conducted an interview with the reporting person who said he was last seen between 3:00 and 4:00 pm.

They then searched the property and didn't find anything.

So I'm not sure how it could have been anyone else but the stepmother.

I would really like to know what led her to be so sure he was a runaway from the start, as opposed to being missing, not home yet, etc.

I'm thinking she mentioned the supposed search on his phone.

Imo

Question is if LE has considered this or if it's a matter of red tape or time. Hard to believe it would be so difficult to get history of texts, search results, or calls in this day and age.
I believe this, too. LE are frustrated. Local police do not have a good reputation, here.

FBI is involved so I'm not concerned. And as far as red tape LE did obtain warrant for at least one vehicle.

Colorado has never seemed to shake off the DIRT from that huge case around Christmas SO long ago.

Oh dear forgot about that one ... I believe LE has come a long way although I would like to have a real definite timeline of Sunday night and Monday for GS

I read on FB that cops and a fire truck are in the neighborhood... feeling a little uneasy. IMO

Welcome to Websleuths, Rosydecember! We are glad you are here.

Best to give a mod the link and let them confirm. It's not MSM or LE so I'm pretty sure it's not an approved source.
I tagged a mod and I also attempted to message one.
Okay?
It is a local page with approximately 11,000 followers.

yes. An ambulance, fire truck, and one other vehicle from the local fire station all passed me as I headed home a little while ago. (I don’t live in the neighborhood, just a couple miles away.) But given the fact that there was a burglary in the neighborhood the other day, and cops had to break up a party where shots were fired Friday night, I’m not willing to say ES is there for anything to do with GS until we hear more.

I smell a press conference tomorrow.

This is not good.

I'm definetly worried. They never called the large amount of civilian volunteers today. I would have hiked and searched anywhere today. It was one of the last warm days for a bit. LE knows quite a lot I'm sure. Tomorrow snow is coming and Tuesday night will be zero at night. I just pray and hope beautiful boy is somewhere safe and warm.

FBI is helping, perhaps leading the investigation

Really? Did they call off the search or just limit the amount of people?
What is the source for this?

This is pure theatrics on the part of SM.

It's no more likely to be true than her claim that LE "threatened to shoot her."

Even if it is, you can run in Walmart and pick up a 3-pack of Hanes for around 10 bucks.

Problem. Solved.

That family has much bigger things to worry about, although you'd never know it from listening to her.

Most notably, there's an 11-year-old little boy who's been missing for days in the dead of winter.

But, no. Let's get all frantic about some 17-year-old's lack of clean skivvies, instead.

Again: Priorities.

JMO.
Also noticed SM emphasized that her daughter is serving our country in the United States Air Force, so obviously is quite independent, and strong, and capable, yet states she's only a child, when complaining about LEO slapping on the cuffs, and brandishing their Weapons like it's the wild west. As if they are wanted dead or alive.
