Sadly, I think it's possible. I always find it hard to jump to that conclusion (there are absolutely no models to predict such a thing, but...there is always hindsight).

It's the manner of the murder that intrigues me (and I'm sure FBI profilers are pretty interested as well). Also, the manner of body disposal. Someone mentioned up thread that men and women tend to behave differently, but so do family members vs non-family members. I can't tell which pattern LS would fall into (I'm thinking that when Gannon is found, we'll find it is consistent with someone disposing of a non-family member, which is so so sad). Maybe LS will redeem herself just a tiny iota by having placed Gannon someplace in the woods, in nature, in some kind of natural niche or among some logs, as opposed to weighting him down and throwing him in water or, even worse, in a dumpster. If she did it.

Which I think she did.

The timeline gives her 4 hours. I would love to know if that backpack she has in the driveway video is actually Gannon's. Was she still trying to stage a runaway? I can imagine some very strange behavior during those 4 hours, because this was not entirely spontaneous, but it wasn't well-planned, either.
I'm not sure it was unplanned, not now.
The entire FBI have been unable to locate him.
That kinda suggests it was very well planned for whatever reason.
The reasons are less important.
She's not so interesting.
She is merely a red herring.
Lets #FindGannon and forget her.
Enough of this cul-de-sac.
There's nothing in her at any level that will lead us to Gannon.

LE stated in first presser they had contacted landfill sites. They are on that possibility and probably every recycling facility, dump site, public and other too.

It's big territory... where should we concentrate our efforts?
Prior to starting the last search LE stated their search would include ravines and possibly rope searches.
We don't know if these were undertaken or abandoned.
They have not mentioned them since.

4 hours.
3 hrs really if we include 30 mins travel each way to town or wherever and back...

What kind of footwear was she wearing that morning as she strode purposefully towards her vehicle, before reversing it up?

Can anybody at all hazard a guess from the footage of the footage of the footage?

It's a big ask, I know?

Been out all day. Just came in to find a search with military help is planned. I am so grateful they are helping LE.
My thought is that LE has found crime evidence in the home but need to find Gannon now. It will be a very sad day when he is recovered. Hurting my heart so much.
I don’t think there is one of us who could be any angrier at LS. I feel it and I know you all do too. And to think, she could have assisted LE 4 weeks ago!

Do cell towers cover a 12 mi radius?
Normal cell phone range: 1-2 miles
That’s right, you need to be 1-2 miles away from a cell tower at all times. Today’s LTE technology requires very closely spaced towers in order to work. Luckily the tower equipment can be very small and can be mounted on power poles. You’ll also find cell sites on the sides of buildings.

If you’re lucky: 5-7 miles
It’s actually not impossible to get some sort of signal for 5-7 miles around a cell tower. Generally it will be voice only or very slow data. In cases like this you’re talking about older equipment and very large towers. Today’s towers are smaller and easier to hide, but they are lower in power.

I’m so glad there’s a planned search for tomorrow, but can’t help but wonder why not today if they have the info? Doesn’t sound like they’re hoping to find him alive if they can wait a day. :(
But atleast it seems as if they are gonna be searching for Gannon rather than bits of evidence in sifted snow!
I know that's important too for the other part of the investigation.
But this sure feels hopeful that they'll find him, knowing they're actively looking..??

I'm confused o_O
Is this search being carried out with or without LE's involvement???

The news reporters will be describing what they see when they arrive at the search.

I would imagine that the submersible imaging Sonar will be utilized tomorrow.

This is actually a very good point. There are traffic cams located extensively along I-25 between Denver to the north and Pueblo to the south. There are additional traffic cams at some traditional trouble spots. Even when I lived near that area, I never tried to spot the cams, so I don't know how they are oriented. I was too busy driving at 75MPH to play spot the traffic cam.
Found this with traffic cams. It shows our current temperature for those wondering about the weather.

My experience is that the further east you go from I-25 and the Front Range, the dodgier the cell phone service. However, this is based on twenty years of carrying a cell phone in Colorado, and they keep enhancing the network so I am not necessarily the best judge. (I was an early adopter because I was trailering horses in the country by myself at times.)

I mean, if he’s out there, then he died weeks ago. They have no expectation of finding him alive out there, no matter what they say.
I unfortunately lost that Hope on Monday. Have now only been hoping for peace.

Out of curiosity, I asked my 11 year old what he thought he would need if he were to run away. At first, he wasn't going for it because he kept saying he wouldn't do that. I told him it was just for research I was doing and he finally told me he would take his blanket, pillow, maybe an outfit if it would fit in his backpack, some granola bars, and his wallet because it has money($3). I asked him where he would go or how he would survive. He said, "Umm maybe to Grandma's house? A friend? But you would find me when you started looking for me there. I don't think it is a good idea though and kids my age know it isn't a good idea if they think about it mom. I still need your help to survive." I asked him, but what if mom wasn't helpful or you felt unsafe with me. He said, "I would call 911 or tell Dad or maybe friends you were bad to me and I needed help. I don't think running away would make sense though. I would need to get an adult I trust to help me." Interesting....can't help but wonder if GS threatened something similar to a certain someone.
