I wouldn’t put it past her to have tried, but I’m not sure how feasible that would have been.

If she was able to do that, I wouldn’t expect it to be very deep.
I can’t see how she had time to do anything except dump him in a ravine or the side of a mountain somewhere.

To be fair, we don't know what time of day the alleged pooping occurred.
JMO

True. We also don't know what time the cut foot happened either. SMH

You guys. I don’t even know where to start.

There were more unnecessary details here. Again, I suspect they were designed to explain whatever will come out in the future.

[[Tecia explained her whereabouts may seem confusing because she “took the back roads” that morning, “because there had been a wreck.” She said at one point, she got lost and had to turn around. She also said she took exit 163, off of Highway 105, but did not remember the exact time.]]

[[Tecia Stauch said she drove her husband’s truck on January 27 as a way to cut down on mileage on her own vehicle. She explained that her car was leased and she would have to pay a fee or have to buy the car outright if she went over certain miles each month.]]

And the pooped his pants part. I’d seen rumors about this, but didn’t bring it up since it wasn’t in MSM yet. I can’t figure out if this is true or if she is now trying to take advantage of rumors going around...

WOWSA. Well, I need a moment. Lots to reflect on. Esp the ADT data. She's now claiming that the video we've seen was not from the day of. She left phone at home but says her Apple Watch would track her (not sure about that, if it's not the cellular enabled kind).
It’s as if she’s been reading web discussions for her material.

She's explaining in advance why there might be a variety of Gannon's bodily fluids in different parts of the house (garage, basement, maybe by the gate).

Ice: When an individual dies in conditions where there is constant snow and ice, there is no way for bacteria to grow or insects to attack the dying remains. The cells are frozen in place and preventing from decaying. It literally arrests the process of decomposition. There are numerous ancient, historic and modern examples of bodies preserved in ice. The most famous of these is the ‘Ice Man’ Otzi found in Alps in 1991. It was thought at first he was a modern hiker who had died, but further investigation revealed he died in 3,300 BCE. The preservation was so good that we now have information about his tattoos, his two last meals, where he grew up, and his DNA has been completely sequenced.
Preservation: When bodies don’t decompose
Aside from finding Gannon alive, find his body preserved in ice would be an act of God Almighty.

@Knox, thank you for sharing this information.

"Initially, the sheriff’s office responded to the stepmom’s statement by saying they have no reason to believe the boy was kidnapped. But since then, the sheriff’s office has asked the public to notify them if they’ve seen a strange car in the Lorson Ranch neighborhood."

"Any information may prove valuable in solving the case and could consist of things as simple as anyone remembering suspicious vehicles or people they saw in or around the area on the date of this incident," the sheriff's office said.

That's from January 29. SM's statement was on Feb 11.

I simply don’t believe she had enough time to get all that creative. She had 4 hours in broad daylight to drive to her destination, do what she did, hide his body, then drive back.

That’s not even factoring in any potential stops she made along the way.

She’s benefited in the form of vast open spaces, and snow cover. They have to be searching these areas for a reason, and I don’t think that reason is “this place is as good as any.”

This occurred in broad daylight, in a fairly conspicuous vehicle. Cameras, witnesses, GPS, or phone records; something is guiding them.

Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good, but luck has a way of running out.
I believe last week's search was based on either gps or pings. I don't believe she just dropped him on the side of the road, in plain view of every vehicle that would pass...
I think they were searching for objects, not a body.
The simplest thing would have been to drive him to a height, as close as that vehicle could get to the edge and simply push.
She didn't need 3 hrs for that, it would have merely taken 5 minutes after her vehicle stopped.
Would not have required her to lift him, hike miles or even anything strenuous, she could be back in town enjoying a coffee in her favorite restaurant in the time it took her to get there. That could be an hour or even a mere 30 or 40 minutes away.
Nobody , even if 3/4 insane would just dump a body on the side of the road unless she wanted him found.
I don't believe she did, want him found, I mean.

30 days later, he remains unfound.

So in this new interview she's rationalizing a few things:

Why they might find soiled pants/underwear

Why they might find vomit

Why she went to all of the places she went to

Why she left her phone at home

Continued:
The Nissan Frontier and Paths Taken
Tecia Stauch said she drove her husband’s truck on January 27 as a way to cut down on mileage on her own vehicle. She explained that her car was leased and she would have to pay a fee or have to buy the car outright if she went over certain miles each month.

She also said she needed the room in the back of the truck to bring used sports equipment to ‘Play it Again Sports,’ a sporting goods store that buys and sells new and used sporting goods. Stauch said she planned to shop for hockey equipment for Gannon since it was the only sport he had shown interest in.

They later went to Castle Rock to find a new bicycle for Al Stauch, who was out of town working at the time, Stauch said.

Stauch admitted that she left her phone at home on January 27, but said she had an Apple smartwatch on the entire time, which can easily track her whereabouts.

Tecia explained her whereabouts may seem confusing because she ’took the back roads’ that morning, ’because there had been a wreck.’ She said at one point, she got lost and had to turn around. She also said she took exit 163, off of Highway 105, but did not remember the exact time.

When asked why Gannon missed school yet went out shopping on the same day, Stauch said he stayed out school mostly because he was embarrassed that he might have an accident in class, since he was dealing with bouts of both constipation and diarrhea.

Stauch added that Gannon’s medication caused him to have stomach issues and bowel problems.

The Security System
Tecia Stauch said after they returned home on January 27, Gannon seemed to be feeling OK before he left for a friend’s house. He exited through a door near the basement area, where his bedroom is, according to Stauch.

CrimeOnlinee obtained a copy of Stauch’s ADT home alarm report that showed activity in the basement and living at the same time at around 3 p.m.

Stauch said she and Gannon were the only ones home at the time, aside from their dogs, who were outside in the backyard. She added that her 9-year-old stepdaughter arrived home from school at around 3:15 p.m. and did not see Gannon.

Stauch’s 17-year-old daughter reportedly arrived home from work at around 4:38 p.m. and minutes later, left with the 9-year-old to go to a Dollar General store. She, too, did not see Gannon, according to Stauch.

ME TOO! This is a person flailing desperately to explain away any and all incriminating evidence. Holy smokes.

If she left her phone at home on purpose to avoid detection, is it possible she has the presence of mind to have someone else or another car wear/transport her Apple Watch around too? I’d like to see some footage of the businesses around Play It Again Sports and see if she was really there and if she was wearing a watch.

I've always suspected she left her phone at home on purpose and forgot about her smart watch.
