I had the strangest dream about Gannon several days ago, it's honestly haunting me and making me feel ill. I see him in a top floor of a warehouse type building. High up, looking out the window you can see a town, he's laying there alive but seems weak. I'm praying so hard for you buddy! I sure wish we could find you!
I had a dream about him last night as well. Nothing at all like yours, but just replying because I typically never remember my dreams, and this one last night is clear as can be. I am just so enmeshed with this, refreshing constantly at work, at home....this case just has my full attention. As a mom to 3 boys, this sweet boy has just grabbed me. I am just so hopeful each day that answers will come.

The stepmom - I view her differently than I have seen her described here (maybe). I don't believe she's a sociopath, psychopath or maybe even narcissist (this one gets thrown around often in many cases). I truly see someone who is not confident, is on the defensive and I believe knows this is not going to end well for her.
Agree with parts of your statement. I hate to sound as if I’m qualified to diagnose (which I’m not... at all), but I will say that these disorders become easier to spot once you’ve seen it before. A sociopath has many of the same characteristics as the narcissist. Main difference being that they have no problem violating the rights of others to get their way. Like the narc, no ability for empathy or true remorse for their actions against another. Ability to lie and lie and lie without fear of consequences of being found out, they’ll just lie again (Which is why many mention CA). Their lies can make you crazy, make you question every tiny tidbit of information that you do have (as witnessed in these 20 threads), etc. They gaslight, they’re usually victims, they have zero self awareness because in their mind - their actions are justifiable, are self centered, etc. In my unprofessional opinion, TS fits this bill from what I’ve seen. I can’t try to make any sense of her non-sense.

Both Narc and Socio are extremely low self esteem, falsely confident, are usually abusers, feel the need to put others down in order to build themselves up, etc.

IMO

As a psychology student, I too refrain from labeling strangers over the internet with words associated with a clinical disorder. The DSM-V (standard manual for diagnosis) requires very specific criteria to be met for someone to qualify for a diagnosis. Those criteria can’t be assessed by reading a few statements or watching an interview. This is why I have stayed away from using diagnostic terms in my comments for the most part, even though I understand words like “sociopath” or “narcissist” also are used as everyday adjectives outside of the field of psychology.

What I am willing to say is that I observe she experiences/expresses emotion in a way that is not normative. At the very least, if a child disappeared for a month when in a person’s care, most people would be traumatized and stressed by something happening on their watch (guilty or innocent). We didn’t see this, even initially with LS.

This could reflect a variety of things. Perhaps her normal abilities to express emotion became impaired earlier in life. Or she may be overwhelmed and has withdrawn into a coping mechanism like “I just have to pretend everything is normal or I will collapse in grief.” Or she may have lacked social awareness/aptitude all along.

Finally, her lack of grief may be tied to the more sinister role she played in G’s disappearance. She may have an internal narrative that pitted her against G and, therefore, she does not feel bad that he is gone.

I’ve commented on which of these explanations I suspect is right for this scenario, but it’s difficult to judge her fairly or objectively because she turns off listeners with her inappropriate and flippant remarks. We assume these remarks reflect guilt of some kind (I do too), but if she is innocent by some chance, her own behaviors hurt our chances of recognizing it.

Something about the shopping trip (cleared) ... is nagging at me. SM admits on MSM she went shopping but I don’t recall seeing her get out of the truck with any bags when she returned. Hmmm... Did I miss that somehow? Anyone have any further info?
Great point. I would suspect LE has a theory on whether this shopping trip was legitimate. Did she leave items in the truck or produce receipts? Was she seen on store surveillance videos? Does her credit card reflect usage? Did her phone ping? And so on.

Déjà vu is the best description for my mind’s process right now. I’m all over the place. In a scary place. Possibly due to the detrimental profound effect little Lucas Hernandez has on my heart and soul. I’m afraid we will again end up with the unknown as resolution. Roll and scroll if the details are too difficult to absorb.

“Cold and callous,” Marshburn explained when asked about Glass’ demeanor. “She kept her sunglasses on, kept her arms crossed, didn’t say anything but short answers, and basically no emotion, not one time…..It was like staring at a photocopy of her mugshot.”

Marshburn explained that over the next several hours, Glass continued to evade his questions until he explained that the state could likely issue a death certificate for Lucas in seven months even without a body, and that Glass could still be liable. At that point, according to Marshburn, Glass’ demeanor changed and she began talking about Lucas, explaining the little boy simply died in his sleep.

Further, Marshburn said that after he told Glass detectives may push for drug testing using her hair follicles, she admitted to him she smoked “meth” while caring for Lucas and her toddler daughter. The PI said at that point he gained enough information from Glass to call law enforcement and possibly have her arrested, but he decided to press on, in hopes of her leading him to Lucas’ remains. Eventually, Glass did just that.

“I couldn’t do that to Lucas because if they [law enforcement] came at her the wrong way, she would never have to give it up. Lucas was my main concern….”

“We couldn’t get the exact location. It took us about four hours or so to ride around down each dirt path. She [Glass] gave us little clues here and there…Basically I said, ‘We are going to start at every bridge right here and then go down the line.’ The very first bridge we get to, I pull up, get out, laid down on the ground and peeked my head underneath, and there I see the top of Lucas’ head.”

Lucas was clothed and buried under branches, but in open view to Marshburn once he peeked under the small bridge. His little body was fairly decomposed, lying in the exact way Glass described to Marshburn. His hair had turned almost white due to the sunshine hitting through a slit in the bridge and directly onto his head for three months.

Glass stayed in the vehicle while Marshburn looked for and found Lucas. When Glass realized Marshburn discovered the little boy, she reportedly didn’t cry or display any emotion. She then claimed she did Lucas “so wrong” but didn’t elaborate, never admitting she hurt Lucas in any way.

“You don’t give two craps about your stepson you put under this bridge, abused, and you killed,” Marshburn said, referring to Glass. “All you care about is what’s going to happen to you.”

I believe it was legitimate, just can’t seem to recall seeing anything removed from the truck upon arrival home. Either that part of the video wasn’t shown, or perhaps that video is NOT from the day she went shopping. I just don’t know

I think the fact that they are using blue ribbons (reportedly Gannon's favorite color) for Gannon when it is also the ribbon color for child abuse awareness. How very fitting. IMO

Well said, Flaming Jane, I am afraid something terrible has happened, but I am trying to hope that her acts of self preservation have caused investigation to veer toward her, from the beginning...I am not naive, LE has more evidence and experience than I, but she has been under scrutiny since the beginning...ie,why did she keep her back to camera? Because she knew someone could recognize her, and she had possibly been covering up evidence of something, every question Leads back to her, except one...what if there is a predator, of intelligence, who spotted a vulnerable kid, and is out there, watching...w/ no history... it would probably be statistically impossible, and yet, that is what the public has been told has happened in Faye Swetlik case...I use the socio/narc terms because they cut thru the layers, quickly, allowing discussion to move on, we get stuck on her inexplicable personality(?), and that is not going to bring Gannon home

Thank you for sharing this :)
As awful as it is, SHE TOLD!!! I don't know anything about this case but just from this little piece it's clear Glass was emotionless (sociopathic) and yet still she told.
There is hope.
This shows there is a glimpse of hope that TS for whatever reasons and motivations might just might tell us where Gannon can be found if it can somehow benefit her in the end as the evidence piles up!!! JMO

Someone else suggested something similar in the last thread. In some cases, we later find out that timelines were a bit different than we were led to believe. A time stamp could be off. Or perhaps LE have later videos taken after the one that was released that show G coming back or other parties arriving and leaving. In fact, it is possible LE even signed off on the media releasing the one neighbor video in order to raise the pressure on any POIs who may not realize their later movements were caught on camera.

I figure it’s my post you saw. I’m new to this site, but I follow the news religiously. With plenty of stories, I have formed conclusions based on the info that was public. But then I was dumbstruck when the actual truth came out. Just cause there were other factors not made public that I wasn’t privy to. And those factors led to a different conclusion altogether. We don’t know what we don’t know.

With multiple searches of the home I am wondering if AS is still in the home? Do we know this?

I'm not too concerned on whether the last person to have seen Gannon is a narcissist, psychopath, sociopath, or any other such moniker.

What I'd like to know is,

if she's a cold blooded murderer.

It's hard to believe it's been a month... I don't think we have heard if the family is still in the house - the continual searches are leading me to believe they have testing back and know more about what went on and that's why they are returning - for additional evidence. JMO
where is he?

All of that is a possibility, I’m just trying to sort out some inconsistencies I have noticed with the timeline and the story...:)

I wonder if they found something in the land search that led them back to the house. Idk. But I do wonder if the 8 year old is talking a bit. Like, Gannon had to go to the garage when he was in trouble....
I wonder if punishment was carried out away from the eyes and ears of the girls in the home. Plus, in the garage, well.....my mind goes wild thinking about it.
Iirc, the police came back to the house one evening and startled people in the garage. I think there's something about the garage that belongs to this story. jmo
