If she tries, she’s done. She’s almost certainly subject to surveillance at this point.

I remember Stephen Grant doing that back in 2007. He murdered his wife, dismembered her body, and dumped it in a wooded area.

He learned that there was going to be a search in that location, and he returned to remove what remains he could find.

When law enforcement searched his home for a second time, they found body parts in a plastic container in his garage.

Douglas Garland (convicted of murder Nathan O'Brien and his Grandparents) was let out of jail on strict conditions. One of those conditions was that he NOT return to the family farm which is where evidence showed the murders took place (no bodies were ever recovered). LOL, LE was waiting for him and sure enough he tried to get back to the farm from the backside of the acreage. LE nailed him and back to jail he went NEVER to see the light of day again.

Never say never...anything is possible and perps will go back to where they buried a body, left a body, etc. etc. Sometimes they just do.

I feel like they should just cross all the roads/areas she mentioned off the list. She is clearly trying to distract.

OH MY- SO MUCH pre-splaining of what we are SOON to find out -
The timing of this interview is very interesting and definitely was given to LE immediately for review and WAY prior to releasing to the public. Perhaps that is why we are seeing the search tomorrow of a certain area
So much information offered up by LS in this article. Left phone home but had apple watch. You have to read this.

If I'm not mistaken, but didn't TS state in an earlier interview that she had taken a selfie with Gannon in the truck on January 27th to help "prove" he had returned with her...how would she have taken a selfie if she didn't have her phone?
Yes, she said “There was also proof from my phone that we had taken a selfie in the truck in our driveway that was time stamped.”

I wonder how much she got paid for that bonanza.

So she must mean the sliding glass door? I mean it's not that big of a house and I think there is a front door, a sliding glass door off the back of the house and the overhead garage door. I think that's it right?

There's also a door into the garage - you can see it in the CSU photos. Likely from the laundry/mudroom.

I've read a lot of speculation and "what if" scenarios about the possibility of TS being innocent.
I've read those here and I've read those on SM. I think many if not most of you, have read them all too.
For that reason, I can't be the only one surprised at the way TS uses, almost word for word, explanations that we've all read online.
Someone suggested she's following her own case online, and I wasn't so sure before but... now I'm convinced.
Folks are online giving her ideas, and she couldn't resist using them.

Think of it.
Pooping. But...
Constipated. Needed medicine for it.
Cut foot. But...
Hiking.
Running away. I wish he would have run away!
Well to be fair...my son gets backed up often. He's young and is worried about going when he's at school because he doesn't wipe well. He'll have skidmarks and sometimes pees his pants at school when he's trying to hold it in, and then it'll be days before he actually goes. It's a cycle we're trying to break because at this age he doesn't care or notice if kids are noticing, but they will soon.

Nothing like a 4 hour drive to cure a child dealing with stomach problems.

He was supposedly afraid to go to school because he might have an accident, and there TS is, driving them all over the place.

Apparently buying a bike was super important.

Or something.

Pick a paragraph in that article, and you’ll find major issues.

Castle Rock, the Mecca of bike shops. An hour and fifteen minutes north of Lorson Ranch. Because, like, ya know, none of the dozen shops in Colorado Springs were sufficient.

Gannon Stauch stepmom reveals where she went the day Colorado boy disappeared [EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW]
ETA:
by Leigh Egan
February 27, 2020
“It’s been one month since 11-year-old Gannon Stauch vanished from his Colorado home. As part of CrimeOnline’s investigation into the disappearance, we spoke exclusively with Tecia Stauch, the stepmother of Gannon and the last person to see him alive.

[SBM]

Stauch is aware that she is the centerpiece of speculation and rumors since Gannon’s trail appears to end with her. However, she maintains that she is worried about Gannon and has no idea where he could be. She stressed to CrimeOnline that she has never harmed Gannon and would never put him in harm’s way.

Neighbor’s Security Footage
Neighbor Roderick Drayton provided home security footage to FOX31 Denver that showed Gannon leaving home with his stepmother in a red Nissan Frontier truck at around 10:20 a.m. Drayton reportedly said the security footage was from January 27.

Tecia Stauch returned home in the truck the same day at around 2:20 p.m, Drayton said. He added that Tecia Stauch returned home alone, without Gannon.

Stauch denied the allegation.

Stauch told CrimeOnline that Gannon was with her when she arrived back home and that as he exited the truck, he was holding a white bag in his hand.

Stach theorized that Drayton may have provided the incorrect date of the surveillance footage, since her teen daughter arrived home on January 27 at around 4:18 p.m., and parked in the same spot her truck was spotted in on security footage.

‘We both couldn’t have parked there,’ Stauch said. ‘Something is not right. I even helped [my stepdaughter] get the bike out of the garage, and then her and [my teen daughter] went to Dollar Tree. Truck was on the road then.’

Stauch added that she clearly remembered giving Gannon a white bag to hold on January 27, ‘in case he puked.’ She said the little boy had ‘pooped in his pants’ the day prior and had been having issues with his stomach.

Another security footage clip aired on FOX31 Denver showed the red truck parked on the curb in front of the Stauch house. A boy who appeared to be Gannon exited the truck wearing a backpack.

It’s unclear what day that particular footage was captured, but Stauch said it showed her arriving home with Gannon on January 27.

‘This is definitely Monday when we got back,’ Stauch said, referring to the clip. ‘Same clothes and he had a bag in his hand…Something’s not right. I have said from day one that I never backed in [the driveway] when he and I returned.’

[Um, no, she hasn’t, IMO: “Fast forward, we did ... and shopping on Monday ( cleared as well for him getting out of the other side). Please don’t think for a second that there isn’t enough of technology to determine shadows and movement around the truck. There was also proof from my phone that we had taken a selfie in the truck in our driveway that was time stamped.”]

CrimeOnline reached out to Drayton for comment, but he was not immediately available.

Stauch admitted the footage that captured her leaving on the morning of January 27 was likely correct. She said she did back the truck in the driveway that morning while she let it ‘warm-up.’ She added that Gannon dropped one of his electronics as he was getting into the truck, and she picked it up for him.

Authorities have not confirmed or denied the accuracy of the surveillance footage. There was no date listed on the footage that Drayton provided to local media.

[SBM]” (BBM)
More in a separate post.
She’s still yapping?

ETA: I would have pooped my own pants by now if I was her.

I've always suspected she left her phone at home on purpose and forgot about her smart watch.
I am unfamiliar with the Apple smart watch and its ability to ping cellular towers. If she left the phone home, it was on purpose and I won't believe otherwise. I hope her Apple watch resulted in an "Oh Shoot" moment.

And now I am wondering if she will read these words.

  • #494
YES! The only thing she's left out is where she put Gannon's body.
She won't rationalize that location until they've reported it found..."oh and we stopped to look at some deer along the side of the road and that's when he ran away"

  • #495
So he's pooping his pants the same day she takes him on a hike in Garden of the Gods? Ummm ok.....

I thought he was constipated? Now he's pooping his pants. There's a reason she said he messed in his pants. There's a reason!!!!!

What's the deal with the white bag? Why's that so important to her?

I feel sick that Gannon's parents have to read her swill.

If he is not found this week...what charges do you expect, those of you who feel an arrest is coming?

I think it could take up to a year for charges if they dont find Gannon soon. Without Gannon, there really isn't any reason to rush a charge. TS can't be honest to save her own life. I just watched discovery ID Jodie Arias the other day and couldn't believe her bald face lies. Even though I watched that whole thing unfold.

Same thing with the Laci Peterson story.

These high profile stories cause investigators and prosecutors to be very patient and calculated in their moves.

I feel certain that Gannon will receive justice. Just not as swiftly as we would all like.

I pray for Gannon and his family that I'm right.

So in this new interview she's rationalizing a few things:

Why they might find soiled pants/underwear

Why they might find vomit

Why she went to all of the places she went to

Why she left her phone at home
That's a lot of things to address, plus the blood due to a cut foot, and then he goes missing!
So we can expect they have found or will find:
blood
soiled underwear/pants
vomit
missing child

Didn't she also claim she was working out in the basement when he supposedly left?

From what I could tell of realtor pictures, it's doubtful there is an exit from the basement to the backyard. But I could be wrong.
