All I can say in response; she has been stalking social media and likely reading here at WS. Her story has evolved to match the evidence she thinks LE has. Left her phone at home, uh huh. Didn't think about the apple watch and GPS I guess.

The accelerated activity at the home and the specific search locations tell us all we need to know. TS is full of bullshite and seems to be unraveling.

Okay, so TS forgot her phone, the Apple watch doesn't ping towers. Does the watch or truck have GPS? If not, then the searches are based on tips and that is not promising. I don't understand GPS technology. Any one of these things would be powerful evidence.

DARN!

So where did the video clip at 1:27 come from? I haven't seen it before?

Upthread someone asked about the whole issue of why this wasn't called a criminal investigation. I happened to be over on the Roman Lopez thread ( 11 year old boy who disappeared from home and was found dead). No charges have been laid and LE is saying it isn't a criminal investigation.

I posted as below:

Very bizarre statement however, the Gannon Stauch "investigation" isn't criminal either and there are no POI's except that searches take place daily and the Crime Lab has been at the house several times.

Seems like a common theme among LE statements these days.

A VERIFIED ATTORNEY answered as below:

It may just be legalese. If you have a criminal investigation with suspects being "detained" for interrogation by LE as potential defendants, those people are entitled to a lawyer and must be read their rights. If you are merely investigating a missing person or a suspicious death with no criminal investigation and no suspects, you are not detaining people for interrogation - you're merely interviewing witnesses and they do not have rights or need lawyers.

A good defense lawyer would tear this apart based on what was factually happening- it doesn't matter what you call it if you are in practice interrogating a suspect, attempting to get them to incriminate themselves in a crime.

However, it may be standard practice in certain LE departments (and it looks like it is growing) to avoid triggering these protections for as long as possible.

Perhaps this will answer a few questions.

LE has to sitting back right about now drinking all this in.

I've said it before and I will probably say it again, she is the gift that just keeps on giving.
Well Exactly.

What the heck?! I can’t add the screenshot but the search has been postponed for tomorrow?

“As we have explained throughout this investigation, this is a very fluid investigation & it can change at any minute of the day. The scheduled search has been postponed.

We will keep you in the loop as it happens & as we can release it.

I believe that when the watch is not in the vicinity of the phone, it stores locations, notifications, etc. I'm not sure of how the technology works, but mine would do that.

OMG. I am actually dumbfounded that she gave that interview. Did she learn nothing about what happens when she opens her mouth!!!???
Right?! But I keep thinking... keep on talking honey, keep on talking. All this presplaining must make her think we're all idiots. No one is smarter than she is but the problem with lying is you have to remember them all. She's already tripped herself off several times. I pray she keeps talking because she's helping the LE's case even if they never find Gannon.

It's like a Colombo case, where the suspect keeps explaining every piece of evidence -- but they always trip themselves up eventually. Sadly, this is real life with a very sweet 11 yr old missing and a devastated family being tortored by this wait.

Ultimately, all that really matters is bringing Gannon home and finding justice for him.

If she left her phone at home on purpose to avoid detection, is it possible she has the presence of mind to have someone else or another car wear/transport her Apple Watch around too? I’d like to see some footage of the businesses around Play It Again Sports and see if she was really there and if she was wearing a watch.

EXACTLY. Also, what on God's green earth would possess anybody to leave a phone at home...particularly with a SICK CHILD you're dragging to places you're apt to get "lost"??? She just presplained herself into a lifetime with gates and keys; she won't have access to THOSE keys, either. IMO

Can you take photos with an Apple watch?

  • #620
YES!!! Good catch
you can use the camera app on your apple watch to take pictures if your phone is in bluetooth range with the watch. The apple watch works more or less as a remote. From the driveway that should not have been a problem. Bluetooth range is about 30 ft.
