Catching up, so sorry if this has already been corrected. She didn't say electronic device. This is what the article says, and even that is not a direct quote from the stepmom

She added that Gannon dropped one of his electronics as he was getting into the truck, and she picked it up for him.

What's the difference between the two terms--- 'electronics' vs. 'electronic device.' ?

I don’t think she could make it any clearer just how little she cared about Gannon. She’s ruthless to belittle LH, especially at the absolute worse time in her life. That’s wrong-doing in my book. I wouldn’t spit on her if she was on fire, but hey, to each their own.

Some still believe TS is innocent of any wrong-doing.

IMO... I think TS should beware of false friends.
I do hope they keep her explaining away her innocence
in the hopes it brings us closer to Gannon.

What's with all the double posts lately? I've noticed SEVERAL in the threads and it looks like mine showed up twice?

Anyways, I wasn't saying the neighbor did the wrong thing. I may just spend too much time reading on WS and trust no one. I'm not sure I'd even show it to the spouse. Of course we don't know how close the neighbor dads are. It's very possible they've had conversations of concern for her intentions or something previously. In that case I'd go right to him probably. IDK. I guess it's more of a case by case thing on what you do first. I hope I'm never in that position.

The fact she actually said this made me really, really sad no matter what type of electronics he dropped. He didn’t even move to pick it up just stood there for what seemed to be forever to me in RD’s video. Healthy kids would move really quick to check the damage of dropping anything of value that is electronic. He did not and she had to bend down and get it for him. RD was right something was wrong.

I know we talked about this in previous threads and not trying to rehash but I agree with previous posters (maybe it was @MassGuy that brought this up) that GS was drugged possibly with Benadryl. Just happens I saw a People article posted today about a woman who killed her husband (a large man) with a Benadryl overdose.

She doesn't want LE to know what device Gannon had that day? Why the subterfuge?
Where did you get that from? That isn't mentioned anywhere that I saw.

I think the police are right and I think most parents feel the same. I have yet to have a child threaten to or run away. Well unless you want to count my son who at 4 said he was leaving, walked out the door and up to the end of my court where he stopped at the stop signs with arms folded looking back at me with a pout. ;) If my kids were to be home at a certain time and they missed that then my first thought is they r breaking the rules and either accidentally or intentionally missed curfew. Call to police wouldn’t come till much later and after every attempt to locate them. Of course i’d Also know exactly where they are and who they are with at 11. Moo

Mine have all threatened to run away at various times, usually when they've been in trouble or didn't get what they wanted, I can only remember a handful of times they actually walked out the door. And only twice where they left the backyard. My youngest went to the creek and my oldest hid behind the shed.

I do remember one quite hilarious time last winter when my youngest (9 at the time) said she was going to run away. I told her she should consider waiting until the next day, because it was quite cold already and only supposed to get colder. She said she didn't care, so I told her to get her coveralls on and grab her gloves, beanie, and scarf and to also grab a bag for extra clothes, because she'd end up wet. Long story short, by the time I was done helping her prepare, she looked like a proper marshmallow, complete with my frame pack full of extra clothes, the thickest sleeping bag we've got, her pillow, and the sleeping mat strapped outside the pack, and about 3 days worth of food that didn't need cooked (plus the can opener). It probably weighed about 50lbs and was about as big is she was at the time. She never even made it out the door before she admitted "running away is too hard, I'm just going to stay here and clean my room".

Get what from? I'm asking a question in response to a poster who said TS did not name the electronic device Gannon dropped, e.g., tablet, phone, switch.

I agree. I don't need two wives, especially one attached to my wrist.
OMG!!! I just spewed my drink all over my keyboard :p
Thank you for the laugh tonight as it's been a tough week following Gannon's case, little Evelyn and the Vallow/Daybell chaos.
I needed that chuckle :D

I've only heard people say 'electronics' and it refers to phones or whatever the current name is for the latest device for playing games. My daughter had a DS. At school they refer to them as 'electronics' probably to cover all of them, and also the names keep changing. Jmo

I really hope they find gannon soon this has got to be giving his family nightmares. It’s bad enough he’s missing but to have the step out there changing stories so many times spewing her venom. I don’t think I could contain myself like landen is doing I’d want to b**** slap the step for having him go missing on her watch and scream to the public about her. But mostly my heart breaks for his sister she has to be so scared and worried just moo

I also am very specific when I am naming an “electronic”
iPhone, switch, iPad.

I have my phone set up so that it alerts me to any accidents on I-25 Gap that would cause delays (also when they close lanes for various reasons). I checked and, nope, nothing showing on the 27th.
Okay, but there could still be something in town. And also, not everything shows on the alerts, so maybe. I have looked a few places and so far I can't find anything showing an accident that would have diverted her onto backroads. I am still looking though. Just to make 100000 percent sure.
I see nothing on the police blotters. I don't see anything on a quick search of the page that the locals use to check traffic here in town, as well as to and from other cities like Denver. I saw an accident the day after on the 28th on I25. So far, nothing on the 27th. Again, I'm continuing to look, as I know this must be absolutely shocking to everyone here. Obviously, she would not be telling a falsehood. NEVER!
My computer is acting up and being slow, so still searching.....(and need to go make some chicken and dumplings for the sweet family. But will keep on peeking...)
IMO

I think poster says she won’t say what type of electronic device in case it can somehow tie her to the crime in some way. Like if they find a smashed switch or something disposed of on the side of the road. So TS avoids actually naming the actual type of device that has been or will eventually be found.

I don't see any difference. But I do know that many journalists and nearly all anthropologists are reluctant to give product placement in their writing. So "electronic gaming device" would have been great (if the reporter knew). I think no reporter would say "electronics" in place of "phone."

It was probably a Switch, which is almost every kid's favorite portable gaming device right now.

Yes, praying from them, admiring LH for her strength.
