Yes, I've read it several times.

SABBM: Stauch admitted the footage that captured her leaving on the morning of January 27 was likely correct. She said she did back the truck in the driveway that morning while she let it “warm-up.” She added that Gannon dropped one of his electronics as he was getting into the truck, and she picked it up for him.

That's the paragraph from the article. Throughout the article certain phrases and words have quotes around them, IMO to indicate LS said these exact words. Electronics has no quotes. Why are we assuming that was the word LS used?

I realize I'm several pages behind, and maybe this has already been discussed, but IMO she may have specified what the item was and it was not included in the article for some unknown reason.

I agree. Why would she use his phone or he use his phone for a "cute" selfie then....later he allegedly Google's that odd search? It doesn't jive it doesn't mix.

Me too. I don't see anything showing involvement from her and this must be an awful experience for her.

Even just listening to her on the cousin IT interview, she didn't sound like she wanted to be put on camera. I hope she has the support around her she will need.....healthy support I.e. not her mother.

My goodness, she's concerned about her family receiving death threats and then hauls her minor daughter on camera to clear up the time line for her. For shame!

A lot of parents say “electronics” or “screens” to refer to any number of devices that kids have or use. A lot of parenting advice literature refer to devices this way. Think pediatricians talking screen time, or an article touting if your kids misbehave, just take their electronics away! I don’t read into the use of the word at all. My ex-husband has always been concerned with these types of parenting issues and he calls my kids’ phones, chrome books, laptops, games etc the blanket word “electronic.”

As a teacher we use the term electronics for a variety of devices. We have “electronic” policies at school. This could be part of her educational vocabulary as it is mine per training and policy procedures. I’m gonna add this: although I’m a teacher and love my kids at school I’m also a mom to 3. For my students I say “electronics” for my kids at home that I not only love but adore and cherish we just plainly say phone chromebook switch, Xbox etc... teachers are just normal moms .. most of us anyway She might be trying to put on her educational face by saying electronics. Trying to sound smart .. thinking of herself .. usual.jmo

She confirmed because that's what SM said? Seems SM's story about cell phones and the picture has changed a few times. If LE has Gannon's phone, they will know if there was such a picture taken or not. SMH

Definitely. I'm not arguing with that at all. Just pointing out that "electronics" may or may not be the actual word LS used. And because we don't know, we can't read anything into it. Iow, we can't say "how weird LS said 'electronics,' why didn't she say what it was specifically?! " We don't know that she didn't name the item specifically. Maybe she did. I'm not disputing the validity of the article or journalist at all.

I'm with you...Based on hearing her talk and seeing her body language, she seemed compliant yet hesitant, and "soft"... I can't put it into words, but my "spidey" sense tells me she has absolutely nothing to do with this, and she's just another one of the victims...

I watched that video about 100 times on phone and big tv. I see black splotches occurring periodically throughout the video on the ground in front of the car many times because my eyes are drawn there as it’s an open space. When it was pointed out those black splotches were near the tire I saw it there too. It happens throughout the video in all spaces. Imo LS wouldn’t of changed her story in last interview if she was telling the truth that he got out on other side. She now says RD had wrong video date and she didn’t even back in. If that was true she would of said it from day 1 not day 31. MOO

Jmo but I am not convinced there was a plan here...have no clue what happened, obviously, but just not certain about the detailed plotting many think went into whatever happened. I think it is possible something happened during this outing...and everything she is saying now is just winging it, trying to fill in the hours etc...

I honestly don't get this part of your comment.You do realize there are millions of people in this world and they don't all use the same set of words in the same settings?
