Much speculation with everything that's gone on but I am sure of a few things and feel the need to get this out:

Gannon was a sweet, smiling, innocent, loving boy. He had a bright life ahead of him. He was strong and brave. Out of no choice of his own, an EVIL, soulless person was put in his life. He was put in the care of this person and she failed him at EVERY turn.

Sweet boy, you did not deserve any of this. You deserved SO much better and were failed by those you trusted. My heart breaks for you every day. You should know you are loved deeply by those who knew you and now by complete strangers who wished they knew you. I wish I got the chance to hear one of your jokes, I love corny jokes! There are so many people working to find you and bring you home! I'm sorry it has taken so long, but you will be found soon!

I am so far behind, it is frustrating. I have sped read and skipped over a lot of posts to get caught up - but then I am not really caught up.
If I repeat anything or ask a dumb question that has been addressed, I am sorry.

I am in Castle Rock. I keep seeing Castle Rock/Play it Again Sports mentioned. Why?
It would be a PITA for her to go to the PIAS here (esp via back roads) - from the Springs - esp when there are 2 down there. Also the PIAS is in a super busy area and the intersection (which is also for the outlets) is a shitshow because CDOT doesnt know what they are doing as they are in charge of the lights/roads here in town (minus a few that are run by CRgov). That entire area...all the exits/entrance to 25... is right there too...is a huge clusterf**k.

As others have said - I will back it up - it is nearly impossible to get lost here.....because of the mountains. When my MIL first moved here - it was one of the first things we told her - If the mountains are on your left - you are going north...so on and so forth. Also, any back roads to get up to CR (if that was her alleged destination???) are super duper easy to drive. Absolutely no way to get lost. << IMO and experience.

With all that said. I will never believe a word she said/says.

YES to everything you said. I live in the Springs and agree with it all. I believe “went to Castle Rock” is just used to explain away some time that passed as she was “lost” in those (now search and potential search) areas off I 25.

Okay...so, I missed a ton after my last sign off from WS yesterday...

There is no humor in this situation, but I must admit that I had a legit chuckle reading TS's ridiculous statement. The sheer amount of contradicting statements within the statement itself plus the contradictions it has with previous statements is laughable. Does she REALLY think everyone buys into every word she says?...I've had a sliver of me wanting to give her a shadow of a doubt..but no way. TS is directly responsible for whatever has happened. The backpedaling she is doing is straight of her realization that any minute the walls are going to crash on her.

Every once in a while I get the "yeah but, what if..." and then TS does something like, issue another statement or grants an interview, and sets me straight all over again. I mean, even IF she isn't primarily responsible for disappearing this sweet kid, it's perfectly clear that she's still lying through her teeth about the events that day.

She has really hung herself with this one... Too many contradictory statements, implausible scenarios, and questionable information that can be verified... LE has already checked on that "wreck" that caused her to take backroads, too.

A few years ago, my partner came down with a nasty bug. A day later, I came down with it, and I was even sicker than my partner. Since we didn't have any convalescent food on hand, a friend shopped for us and left the bags of groceries in the driveway where my partner could pick them up.

I did something similar for a neighbor this week. She reached out to me via FB and I left a bag with supplies on her doorknob. No biggie - people are willing to do that for others. But in this case, all Tee had to do was wait for the 17yo to arrive home - there is no urgency in going to Play it Again Sports!

I'm sure many of us have been in a car while sick - I have. And the absolute LAST place I would want to be is the backseat of a truck while feeling sick to my stomach for an errand that is unnecessary. For four hours.

It's unreasonable to think Gannon was agreeable to that outing. I'm sure he would have rather stayed home if sick. She makes it sound like it was for him - to get equipment for a sport he finally showed interest in (which is sort of a put down that he isn't that into sports).

But, then again, after the outing with the barf bag, he perked right up and wanted to see a friend! (sarcasm)

I know I'm quoting myself here but I just keep thinking of those people come across in my life that have the same narcissistic issues. The focus on specificity of time down to the minute just throws a huge red flag like "look at me, I'm so detailed you can't even question me!". I just loathe these kinds of people.

Yes, because in most people's world, they can tell you every single thing they did all day long, with a time stamp.

They'll be rushing out the door to get to ballet with Daughter, but simultaneously giving instructions about dinner to their SO, and handing Son the things he needs for the 7PM talent show; and they can tell you when each and every one of these things occurred, with perfect recall.

We should have a countdown before TS comes in to tell us that as a military family serving their country, blah de blah, this is perfectly logical because they're all obsessed with time/ because Al can always tell you immediately what time it is/because the entire family runs timed drills, blah de blah.

I'll tell you for a certainty, people remember these things in snatches and fragments. They don't remember what the clock said every single time they wake up in the middle of the night, and they don't look nonstop at clocks, and they can't tell you everything that happened unless they write them down.

I'm not fully up to speed here, but did she give her statement after they announced the search, or before and the media released it coincidentally after? Because if they baited her into throwing out exit numbers and play it again sports stops, this LE dept deserves some major trolling accolades.

Somebody asked the author (Leigh Egan, friend of Websleuths) when the interview actually took place.

She said this past Monday; so the interview super-precedes, IMO, any search announcement, unless maybe she's got some sub rosa National Guard wives' channel where discussion about this week's search started early. We here only found out about the search yesterday.

She admitted desire to be standing with AS and regarded as the grieving mother, not LH. She took liberty to issue press releases without regard or respect for Gannon's parents. Her arrogance is misleading her.

I believe her attention seeking behavior is yielding for her exactly the desired results.
We're discussing her here, and both twitter and FB are blowing up with all sorts of posts/tweets/shares/likes/groups focused on her comments/stories/lies.

Suddenly... countless numbers of people are focused on... HER.
Some even believe her, I'm sure.

I believe Saturday, after GS had his accident which resulted in some blood-spill plus whatever else occurred that day, TS needed to address what happened so that it would not result in the family being booted from the house and TS wouldn't end up divorced.

I believe the Sunday hike was her initial plan, that GS would have an 'accident' during the hike but she either didn't find the opportunity or couldn't go through with it at that moment: GS' sibling was there, other people may have been around, etc. At that moment, TS new she needed a new plan.

Overnight, a new plan was hatched:

-Call the school; 'GS won't be in today.'

-Tell GS he may stay home from school because of his injury.

-Tell GS to get dressed for the 'shopping trip'.

-Leave for the trip. Scout locations.

-Return home.

I'm stuck at this point because I still am concerned with the 'shadow' in the RD video.

So, the only solution I could come up with is TS picked up GS' sibling from school and THAT is who exited the truck?

I still think, the morning of the 27th, TS must have told Gannon to go to the truck but not get in, to wait for her. I think the flurry of pixelation might be her putting down a seat protector.

I also think, regarding the sifting searches, LE was looking for specific items, something that may have gotten chewed up and spewed up by snow plows.

If she’s sitting at home reading this, I hope she comes to her senses and realizes that the jig’s been up, and it’s only getting worse. You are just being logical. At my age, I carefully plan the availability of restrooms when I shop. And I have always planned meals, because I get very, very hangry when I don't.
