I really look at SM as I would a female black widow spider. Only in this case the web she is building is actually closing her in....like a cocoon. She's completely entrapping herself.
I like this analogy. :) The legs of her lies are trapping herself.

Has anyone ever had a car lease in which there was a monthly mileage quota? TS claims to have borrowed the truck so that she didn't go over her monthly mileage allotment. Any car lease that I've ever seen with a mileage quota has the mileage taken into consideration at the end of the term of the lease.

Gannon Stauch stepmom reveals where she went the day Colorado boy disappeared [EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW]
No, but friends and family that lease vehicles tend to track monthly use so they can plan accordingly. I think she was hitting her monthly quota of miles imo that’s what she meant.

I agree. It could be that LE asked the crime website to turn over part 2 and found something there. Or it could be some sort of subtle thing she said in part 1 that contradicted what she had told them?

“subtle”. BAHAHhahshahahaaaaaaaa!!!

OT/mini Friday funny, what with all this discussion of our phones outsmarting us—I just posted this on Facebook. @gatorage, maybe you could let Siri know I don’t need her help managing my diet, thankyouverymuch? :p

Siri is extra!! If you ever want to get something on someone’s to-do list, though, text in that format and Siri will helpfully suggest it be set up as a reminder. Definitely helps forgetful spouse syndrome, even with our calendar synced, stuff still gets missed! Siri to the rescue!!!

She mentions the barf bag being white a couple of times. I'm guessing a white bag with barf will be found somewhere and she'll explain it away that Gannon barfed and she tossed the bag out the window or something like that. MOO
Imo, they have found or will find:
blood
vomit in a bag
soiled pants
electronics that belonged to Gannon
that her car was leased
missing child
What else?

Stepmom claims she left her phone home on 27 Jan when she left with Gannon to go shopping. Wonder where his phone was during that trip?

She also said he dropped an electronic device before getting in the truck, that she picked it up. Is that device, whatever it was, missing? Perhaps that’s something they were looking for during the snow sifting searchers. Maybe it was presumed tossed out the window, as an example.
IMO. Gannon appeared to drop something, made no attempt to bend down to pick it up. If he was carrying it , it was an entertainment device. What kid would drop his electronic device and not pick it up, unless maybe he was too ill or in too much pain to do so?

I believe her attention seeking behavior is yielding for her exactly the desired results.
We're discussing her here, and both twitter and FB are blowing up with all sorts of posts/tweets/shares/likes/groups focused on her comments/stories/lies.

Suddenly... countless numbers of people are focused on... HER.
Some even believe her, I'm sure.

What more could she possibly want?

It IS definitely all pointed on her. But I have researched this pretty extensively and am comfortable that the great majority of the internet does not believe her. If anything, Websleuths is being more restrained than most.

It can probably track. The compass feature and workout recording still work out of range of wifi connections. The following is snipped from Apple watch support page:

If you can't connect to Wi-Fi, cellular, or your iPhone
When your Apple Watch is disconnected—for example, if you're hiking in an area without Wi-Fi or cellular signal, or your iPhone is off—you can still do these things.

There is more information here: Use your Apple Watch without your iPhone nearby

Hence her explanation of the backroads she took. If she was wearing the watch, she likely knows it was tracking the long, convoluted day trip she took with a sick little boy in the truck. IMO

Or too scared...

MOO

I believe Saturday, after GS had his accident which resulted in some blood-spill plus whatever else occurred that day, TS needed to address what happened so that it would not result in the family being booted from the house and TS wouldn't end up divorced.

I believe the Sunday hike was her initial plan, that GS would have an 'accident' during the hike but she either didn't find the opportunity or couldn't go through with it at that moment: GS' sibling was there, other people may have been around, etc. At that moment, TS new she needed a new plan.

Overnight, a new plan was hatched:

-Call the school; 'GS won't be in today.'

-Tell GS he may stay home from school because of his injury.

-Tell GS to get dressed for the 'shopping trip'.

-Leave for the trip. Scout locations.

-Return home.

I'm stuck at this point because I still am concerned with the 'shadow' in the RD video.

So, the only solution I could come up with is TS picked up GS' sibling from school and THAT who exited the truck?
@ChuckMaureen, you are not as stuck as you think. I regard it as a symptom of the severe gaslighting we are receiving from TS. I believe the shadow was cast by the object TS was holding. Now, if I saw legs and feet climbing out and walking, it would be a different story. A smart person like you does not need to chase shadows when your common sense is spot on!

I am so far behind, it is frustrating. I have sped read and skipped over a lot of posts to get caught up - but then I am not really caught up.
If I repeat anything or ask a dumb question that has been addressed, I am sorry.

I am in Castle Rock. I keep seeing Castle Rock/Play it Again Sports mentioned. Why?
It would be a PITA for her to go to the PIAS here (esp via back roads) - from the Springs - esp when there are 2 down there. Also the PIAS is in a super busy area and the intersection (which is also for the outlets) is a shitshow because CDOT doesnt know what they are doing as they are in charge of the lights/roads here in town (minus a few that are run by CRgov). That entire area...all the exits/entrance to 25... is right there too...is a huge clusterf**k.

As others have said - I will back it up - it is nearly impossible to get lost here.....because of the mountains. When my MIL first moved here - it was one of the first things we told her - If the mountains are on your left - you are going north...so on and so forth. Also, any back roads to get up to CR (if that was her alleged destination???) are super duper easy to drive. Absolutely no way to get lost. << IMO and experience.

With all that said. I will never believe a word she said/says.
I. Said. The. Same. Thing.
Truth.
1) no way you would go to CR from the Springs for anything, except for a headache in all that traffic. (I drive it weekly. I hate hate hate hate gap traffic). But especially with a child who had a messed up stomach. Good luck finding a bathroom. Springs is big, has more stores, better prices. Period.
2) got lost? Seriously? You would have to TRY to get lost. Get on main road, stay on main road. Easy peasy.
I think we are 2 out of the TONS of locals that are irritated with that craptacular bunch of excuses.

I would agree with this. I leased a car years ago, and I did keep an eye on the monthly mileage because it adds up.

IMO IMO I really think poison is going to play a roll in this case. :(:(:(

I was shocked at the case where a woman killed her husband by putting eye drops in his water. To use something so simple and not like rat poison where they could track your purchase. Even adult medication could do great harm to a child and after a month what would show up in his system.

Who says 4:38 instead of 4:45 or 4:40? And white bag that was mentioned a billion times suddenly becomes part of the story? Shes writing her alibi on the fly, but plagiarizing from social media. Honestly LS, just stop and let the family have peace at this point. You've lost and will never gain whatever favor you're looking for.

Wholeheartedly agree! ALSO, who says "electronic device" when referencing picking up an item a child has dropped?? It's SIX syllables and oddly generic, when she could have just said "game," "phone," etc.

As we have explained throughout this investigation, this is a very fluid investigation & it can change at any minute of the day. The scheduled search has been postponed. We will keep you in the loop as it happens & as we can release it. Our Tips to date are 801. #FindGannon #Hope

hmmm.. i am wondering if there is ANYTHING at all to this twitter post by EPCS yesterday. We have mentioned before that their words seem to be purposeful.
The “801 Tips” stands out to me (in addition to the phrase “as it happens”)

On 2/21 the EPCSO reported having 718 tips. While it’s possible in 6 days, they received only 83 tips, I feel like with ALL the attention around this case, people are calling in things left and right. Maybe I’m wrong...
801 is the Utah area code
Far fetched but could they know something and they are trying to send that message?
I also realize, SM did not have enough time to drive to Utah (7-8 hours away)BUT maybe there is something else to it. Just brainstorming...

I caught that also. In her defense, when we leased a car, I did calculate monthly mileage because I was so scared to go over. I’d be interested in knowing how close she is to her “mileage quota”... She’s a stay at home mom, younger kids ride the bus, older daughter has her own vehicle, and from my understanding, necessities are nearby.

... because people are not as stupid as she needs them to be!

I don't have a clue as to exactly what happened, but I think it's obvious to most of us that TS is a pathological lying liar and her delusions of grandeur are going to be her downfall.

I'm so sorry that poor Gannon had to endure whatever has happened to him. The thought of him laying out there undiscovered in the cold absolutely guts me. Wishing much peace and comfort to his family.

You are just being logical. At my age, I carefully plan the availability of restrooms when I shop. And I have always planned meals, because I get very, very hangry when I don't.
Given her state of rage, I would hold it in or pee myself before asking her to stop.
