I had read this article earlier today. There is also a YouTube video that breaks down the stepmom's drive. And how her drive was related to the search of the lake.

She mentioned in the article above that the phone was left at home. But, she had her Apple watch. But in this article--- Gannon Stauch: Missing boy's stepmother releases statement --- she mentions taking a selfie with her phone, while in the driveway with Gannon-- before they exit the vehicle. o_O This was her 'proof' that he was with her in the truck.

IMO...
If she is going to buy hockey equipment and all that other stuff...
WHY take a picture for Dad in the driveway?
How about at a store? Did they stop for lunch?
Keep talking TS.

This is off the main topic but all this talk about Gannon being allegedly sick (do we even know if that is true?) and everyone talking about their stories of sick kids...

There is a company called Urgent Care House Call Location Directory | DispatchHealth
Where actual doctors come to your house. The Dr who runs the Denver area lives in my town and I just saw this posted on a CR FB page recently. People in my town are using it more and more and nothing but rave reviews.

I am posting for the CO peeps - but just looked and it is around the country.

And yes, there is an app for that ;)

[Mods: if this is not allowed to be posted, deleting it wont offend me]

Thanks Silverheels, is that new site larger than the other one?

I don’t know. It’s my guess that they’re just staging from this parking lot and heading out to other locations to search. If I can, I’ll get down there tomorrow and let you all know what I see. I’m sure there will be reporters there too.

Two different things. One is a filter (much loved by 4-5 year olds, their older siblings, their parents and their grandparents). The other is a pose intended to make the lips look puffier, because that's supposedly the current thing to do (thin-lipped people either embrace the pose or they don't - but if they do embrace it, they often over-do it).

Duck-face (which can be used at any time without a camera) is a variant of "kissy face" but to an extreme that many people find silly or parody. I think some would say this is "good duckface":

«•Misaki Clare•» on Instagram: “Feelin my curls on a mini Dallas road trip » « » « #selfie #curlyhair #mygoofyass #duckface #dallas #texas”

If you look at the first poster for Gannon (with the GoG selfie in it), you'll see that TS, like many other Instagram people, are exaggerating it (or don't know how to do it properly). Here are examples of duckfaces that people make fun of:

https://i.redd.it/q59s64hxmlb41.jpg

Anyway, it's considered "over" by anyone aged about 25 and younger, and it was not popular among teens when TS was a teenager - so she's adopting a "lewk" that is associated with (much) younger, more immature people.

Pro-tip: If you like to make a duckface, don't link it to your real name on the internet if you are also looking for professional employment (or for people to take you seriously...or think that you are normal...especially if over 30).

Above is a still from the video below posted by CBS on 2/14 , the searchers appear to be searching side by side in the snow following along what seems to be some sort of path of prints in the snow. Forgive me if this was covered many threads ago, I may have missed it. Can anyone speculate as to what would have made those type of prints? To me, they don’t look like feet prints, and the snow is pristine on either side of them. Obviously something caught their attention to make them want to check this out as well.
ETA - could these be snowshoe prints? Does “Play It Again Sports” sell snowshoes?
Search For Missing 11-Year-Old Gannon Stauch Continues In Douglas County
They look like older boot prints that may be a day or two old. Weathered in by melting / wind blown snow.

I am curious about the woman in the short sleeved red shirt and baseball cap leading everyone else with coats and knit hats.

Nothing says 'mom' like taking a kid on a 4 hour road trip (while getting lost on back roads) for sporting goods after he crapped his pants, cut his foot, has a barf bag in his proximity, and can't go to school and then still allowing him to go to a friend's house that afternoon. What an awesome mom. Can't believe he would use his phone to question running away. Hell, she even took well-remembered time-stamped selfie photos to send to his dad.

Photographers realize that light is our true subject. We study direct light, reflected light, ambient light, light sources, light temperature, etc.

I respectively disagree with the "it's TS' shadow" idea. It would be an impossible occurrence for those shadows to have been caused by either something TS was carrying or by TS herself. I don't want to get in to that whole discussion because so many people refuse to believe the possibility because they can not come up with how GS could have disappeared if he had returned in the truck with TS.

That's why I'm stuck. It has nothing to do with what TS has said.

ETA: I also am computer/video savvy. The shadows do not appear to be a result of codec anomalies not copy-of-a-copy etc. degradation. What I see is real. It's 'tangible' (in my photographer brain) and, it tells me someone either exited from or otherwise opened the door of that truck on the rear passenger side.

If you watch the video - frame by frame...you will see the 'shadow' literally moves with the movement of the door. Simultaneously.

I am surprised this is still a topic of discussion. I have worked in photo/video analysis. I spent so much time on that dang video. Unfortunately, I do not have any software on this computer to do any kind of video showing it. I just suggest everyone watch it - frame by frame (pause), a few times in a row.

IMO - It was warm here today - considering the constant now and low temps we have had.
Also in CO, you always want to dress in layers - as the more you move, the hotter you can get. The sun up here (at least at my elevation - around 7000') can be brutal - even if the air temp is cooler.

Mine have all threatened to run away at various times, usually when they've been in trouble or didn't get what they wanted, I can only remember a handful of times they actually walked out the door. And only twice where they left the backyard. My youngest went to the creek and my oldest hid behind the shed.

I do remember one quite hilarious time last winter when my youngest (9 at the time) said she was going to run away. I told her she should consider waiting until the next day, because it was quite cold already and only supposed to get colder. She said she didn't care, so I told her to get her coveralls on and grab her gloves, beanie, and scarf and to also grab a bag for extra clothes, because she'd end up wet. Long story short, by the time I was done helping her prepare, she looked like a proper marshmallow, complete with my frame pack full of extra clothes, the thickest sleeping bag we've got, her pillow, and the sleeping mat strapped outside the pack, and about 3 days worth of food that didn't need cooked (plus the can opener). It probably weighed about 50lbs and was about as big is she was at the time. She never even made it out the door before she admitted "running away is too hard, I'm just going to stay here and clean my room".
Love it. When my kids were bratty, I banned them to their bedroom and gave them a tv. haha

We need a Scrappy Joe Fan Club. I have fallen for that scrappy little guy. (And all the others who make appearance with Tricia and Scrappy Joe too.)

I now have so many duckface photos open on my laptop that it's overheating.

But hey, it's important to understand the world in which people live, right?

I think so too and I think the journalist in question (who specializes in crime) would have kept the word "phone." But that's down into the weeds.

It has already been stated (I think in the Missing Persons photo and the early reports of LE) that Gannon's phone was at the house. TS shows LE his phone. It wasn't with him on that ride, IMO.
:D

So we are on thread 21 and Gannon has not been found? I know this is a hard case but GANNON NEEDS TO COME HOME! May this case break and may Gannon be brought home to his loving family!Spreading love to all!Holding those in pain in my heart!

I think if it was a phone she would have said so, so I assume it was something to play games on, like a DS or a switch. I do wonder if he had his phone, though. There may have been multiple ways for LE to track their movements if she really was wearing the Apple watch. Jmo
I agree and I think it was the switch. I do wonder at times if she took GS’s phone in the car to take that selfie pic to send to AS as GS and to be like “look how happy I am with my beloved step monster”. She then would dispose of it with him as she wanted to show he took it with him when he ran away. I wonder if she re-thought this after the fact and wasn’t sure if it would be tracked to GS as I’ve heard his phone only worked with WiFi. She may have decided to bring it home with her to buy more time and spin her web of runaway lies. She then actually typed in the infamous “can my parents find my phone”or whatever that nonsense runaway story was she typed in. Very curious to the time that this was actually searched on his phone.

Yet Grey Hughes insists it is not the door and there is definitely other movement than that of TS. I think he even said anyone who can't see it needs glasses or something!
