I'm not sure how to respond to this.
I'm sure you mean well.
:0)
From personal experience the only person I heard say "You're just being too sensitive." Was gaslighting our loved one.
Right before our eyes....

Yes. 1000 times yes.

The thing that still has me scratching my head a little about the last statement is this: If I felt that I had been unfairly maligned and accused of nefarious activity when there had actually been none … and I felt that I wanted to share my story through the media, would my first call really be to a place called "CrimeOnline"? I don't mean to imply anything even *remotely* disparaging about the organization itself, which is as far as I know absolutely superb -- it's just that it feels semantically like kind of odd messaging. Or maybe I'm just 100% out of the loop and this is a very typical way for people to proceed in cases like this …
IMO, she thinks she is so much smarter than everyone else and her lies will be accepted as truths. its driving her crazy that people see her negatively, she just cannot her herself. And additionally, she may have been paid.

Since the house hasn't actually been declared a crime scene, I suppose the tenants as well as the landlord, property manager or homeowner would be free to come and go.
That's just a guess. LE may have suggested they stay away, but unless the house is sealed, they can still come and go.

But wouldn’t that be a defense attorney’s dream? LE, as recent as this week, was still taking items from the house. Could they argue evidence contamination or possible evidence placement if the house is open for non LE to come & go?

But then again, in Kelsey B. case, her townhome/apartment was open after their initial search, then her family are the ones that really found blood evidence, IIRC. I don’t believe there was a argument of contaminated crime scene. I don’t know...

Has it been disclosed who reached out to who? I don't know if it has, but if it were me, no, I would be consulting my lawyer and doing everything they told me to do. Granting interviews, I assume, would not be something they'd advise that I do.
But you are rational

Praying for todays search efforts! (I believe still happening?)

I 100% agree. Nancy Grace is the one behind Crime Online and most true crime enthusiasts know that. I’m not sure if Tee is one or not but I am sure she is being contacted by a lot of media. I also would attempt to defend my innocence and FIND MY STEPSON by contacting the major networks and anyone who will listen. Not some “exclusive” onetime interview like I’m the Queen and don’t have time to talk to these peasants. She is really something isn’t she?
Makes you wonder why she didn’t go on the podcast with Nancy. Wouldn’t want to be on the other end of Nancy if I was guilty. I mean Nancy isn’t known for defending criminals.

I don’t think she wants to face the scrutiny. She tends to only give interviews to people who pretend to cater to her, feign sympathy and understanding.

My 6 yr old has an upset stomach today. Even though I knew SM story made no sense, it becomes completely obvious when living the reality. The thought of her taking Gannon to run non essential errands is ludicrous. No way did she put Gannon in AS truck (with a sick bag!) for anything not sinister. Reasons I would put a child so sick they needed a sick bag - to take to the doctor, to take home from school, to get home from the airport.....100% never to go buy my husband a brand new bike in January without him.

I also think the stomach issue was from a head or internal injury and the vomit probably had blood in it, which is what tipped her off that he was seriously injured to where she was in big trouble with the law and AS.

It would be interesting to check the car wash cameras in the area. I don't know how precise apple watch or GPS tracking is so maybe they know exactly where she was, but if not it would be a good idea. Even just the drive thru ones at gas stations in case he rolled down the window. My kids are not very good with a sick bag.

I’ve wondered about car washes as well, but hoped she was dumb enough to leave the truck as-is and let them find soil samples etc...

Unsure if this has been brought up here since I am having a hard time following how fast the discussion has been with everything I'm juggling in life right now. Don't want you guys to think I went MIA :) I am reading just not posting as much. Thank you all for your posts.

Makes more sense to me that one of her FB/YT fans acted as an intermediary.

I have to assume it's a case by case determination but you bring up a great point.
I'd think the same about the argument for evidence to be tossed since the scene wasn't secure, but I'm going to have to go with my old standard "they know a lot more than I do about this case".

I feel like Gannon's stepmom has some traits of a narcissistic personality disorder. She seems to be making this more about her than Gannon. MOO

Would there be soil samples during the winter in Colorado? What has the winter in Colorado been like this year? I guess if she had taken a dirt/gravel backroad, there would be some kind of dirt on the truck.

The more I think about there are many cases where LE goes back sometimes, years later for potential evidence collection, to even new homeowners residing at the location.

In general, I’m just curious about Gannon’s home and who is permitted access at this time. It’s all just interesting.

This source/info was mentioned, yes.
And for those still wondering, even though this is not actually a MSM news site (they call themselves "news"), and their "about" page makes it clear the site is run by private citizens, an exception has been made by @KayElJay to allow this source.

Not a fan of the site to be honest, they do post rumors like most community "news" sites do.
BUT it's allowed.

It doesn’t take much to get dirt and gravel, even in frozen areas, to stick to your car/truck/tires/undercarriage. Even when the ground is frozen. And even better on a sunny day when the ground may warm up and add some moisture to the mix. In the photos of the truck after Gannon went missing, the truck does appear dirty or dusty, so I have hope they’ll find what they need to connect it to wherever Gannon is found, when he is found. Let’s hope it’s today.

That is actually a very good point that I had not considered. We took a trip in January and I took the car through the car wash before doing so. Prior to the car wash, my car was filthy. (I am not a frequent car washer because I want to preserve the finish and I am too lazy to do it by hand and too frugal to pay to have it hand washed.) The frequent freeze/thaw cycles mean that dirt roads produce a lot of splatter during the day. I drive mainly on paved roads but there are a few dirt driveways I drive on a weekly basis.

I don’t know if in Kelsey’s case it was different because of the eye witness/accessory who could verify how that blood came to be where it was or not...but I would think a house should be sealed if there is a belief the crime took place within it. But also in Kelsey’s case the witness had so much more detailed info...it is impossible to know what the outcome would have been if she did not exist or if there would have been a trial at all...jmo

Here for Gannon!

I needed family time last night and came back to more than 40 pages and thread #22 this morning. We’re supposed to have temps close to 60 today, but it’s gray and overcast now. I’m hoping that leap day will be the day Gannon is found.

IIRC. A spoiler was released, on Tricia's podcast, regarding Part 2 of Crime Online's article. It was regarding a rental car. Anyone remember that?

Maybe we shouldn't focus so much on the red truck.

Maybe case by case - most, if not all, of the evidence in Kelsey's condo was her blood and she had been missing since before her family arrived. Even if there was a point about contamination or tampering, I can't see how Frazee's attorney could have argued that her mother spread Kelsey's blood around under the floorboards. moo

Also, was the red truck confiscated for forensic testing? I know the daughter's car was. I believe the truck was seen at Gannon's house. As well as being driven.
