Thank you Silverheels!

Thank you @Silverheels , I keep looking and have not yet seen anything at all today about the search, and I thought the reporters would probably have been on it..??

I think they’re definitely planning to search today. The first time I drove by the parking lot, there was nothing to indicate what was going on. The second time, someone had put a “staging” sign on an orange cone at the entrance to the parking lot.

No I don't believe Gannon made it back. Movement in the house was likely her. She did put herself in that basement-doing her workout. It did jump out at me that she made a point of saying the dogs were outside. Dogs could have set off motion inside.

So, according to the latest article:
Gannon Stauch stepmom reveals where she went the day Colorado boy disappeared [EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW]

ADT detected movement in the basement area and the main floor around 3pm. Doesn’t that prove someone else was there besides TS? We know the sisters weren’t home yet and AS was out of town....so could it have been Gannon?

and now Leigh Egan has confirmed the selfie on GS’s phone, which by TS’s account, was taken after they returned from their “shopping trip.” So maybe, just maybe, GS did exit on the opposite side of the truck that day, and he did return home.

Does anyone know the Alice Crimmins case? We could have something similar here.

I don’t doubt that TS feels guilty about something, hence her reactions and attacks—but everything changes if Gannon did in fact come home that day.
The simultaneous movement in the house is easily explained by the dogs, IMO. TS stated the dogs were in the backyard, but I have little faith in her version of the truth.

I was thinking about LS last statement and she says that LE is “chasing me”. If she feels that way- that makes me think she feels chased because she is running away from what really happened! If she was innocent I don’t think she would feel the need to run away.

Being careful with wording is important here. Leigh Egan did not confirm SEEING the photo. She confirmed only that LS now claims the selfie was taken with Gannon’s phone. Which means absolutely zero, because in her previous statement, she said:

“There was also proof from my phone that we had taken a selfie in the truck in our driveway that was time stamped. We always send pictures to Albert when we are out and about or when he is away.”

Not only does she contradict herself, first saying it was her phone, now saying it was Gannon’s, but she also said in the driveway, yet now claiming she never backed into the driveway upon her return.

You can’t take a selfie with your own phone then claim it was taken on Gannon’s phone and have both be true. You can’t say you took a selfie in the driveway and it proves he returned home, but then also say you never backed into the driveway upon your return, and the security footage must be wrong. Both cannot be true.

I believe she made sure her dogs made movement in one area while she made movement in the other, in an attempt to make it look like two people were home.

And I think you could be both upstairs and downstairs in the same minute. I can put something in the microwave for a minute and make a tour of my house (which is larger than hers) in that minute.

It's good to know :)
For some reason it feels a little bit better knowing there are boots on the ground searching for Gannon.
And hopefully in an area where they have retreived specific information pointing them there.

Wait. What am I missing? Where was it confirmed that the shopping selfie was taken AFTER they got back?

I can't stand thinking of Gannon's last moments

How I’ve been dealing with these thoughts is to hope that, if he is no longer living, he was not conscious when whatever happened happened. With the neighbor describing him as looking sluggish when entering the truck and SM describing a very long drive with multiple stops, I’d prefer to imagine perhaps he was intentionally sedated before leaving the house, maybe even believed he was on his way to see a doctor, and lost consciousness in the car without realizing where things were headed. Of course, I hope he is somehow still living, but if he is not, this is how I deal with intrusive “what if” thoughts about his final moments. I can’t bear to imagine any other possible scenario.

Exactly. More of her CYA.

I’m so glad we have your valuable input! I was so hoping there would be a bigger turnout...my guess is that the staging area is not as close to where the search is taking place as we thought it might be. Maybe they can hold the media off long enough to keep it hidden, but if they find him, there will be no mistaking it.

My best friend and her husband live in the area. He’s military so i sent him all the information but he hadn’t heard of the case or the search and was very interested in joining. I wonder if waking up to overcast skies made some people not come. But mainly I’m wondering what the news coverage is like in the area? I know we are all in a bit of a bubble here so I’m wondering how much exposure this search would get in the general public, those who don’t follow these cases or pay too much attention to the news but would otherwise be willing to help.

I spend a lot of time in the Colorado/Manitou Springs area since my friends moved there and while it amazingly beautiful, and I’ll be relocating there soon, I can’t imagine the daunting task of having to search for somebody - let alone a child - in those elements. It’s really a vast area. I just hope SM keeps talking and giving them the info that helps them narrow down areas and search points. Hopefully Gannon’s family gets some news today, no matter what kind. The not knowing must be impossible.

Just did a drive by at the new search location. They have a staging area set up with a sign on Walker Road. I drove into the parking lot and it looks like there are fewer than 10 cars.

I also drove some of the side roads but didn’t see anyone. The fact that I can’t even find the searchers makes me realize just how difficult this search for sweet Gannon is. I know they’re working with some kind of location data, but still.

I’ll watch for reporters talking about the search today and get back out if it seems productive.

Thanks for the update. Ahead of the reporters once again.

This search 'feels' different.

That is so so true. I remember locking my basement sliding glass door and booking it upstairs to lock the front door, in the middle of a water balloon fight. It took me less than 20 seconds to re-create this after I just read your post. Not impossible in the slightest for both to be her, or her and the dogs.

The selfie hasn’t even been confirmed, other than LS saying it exists. People are just speculating, I think.

I believe, it it does exist, she took it with her own phone, in the driveway, after Gannon entered the truck around 10:15am. She then exists the truck quickly and returns to the house for a moment, then gets back in the truck and leaves. She just seems to think she can outsmart LE and change the time stamps. It won’t work and RD’s footage will just once again prove she’s full of it.

Now the claim it was on Gannon’s phone, since she admits leaving her phone at home, makes her look even worse. She’s just not a very good liar. At all. She’s all tangled up and twisted around, and I cannot wait to watch this proceed to trial.

She probably even sent them in basement for the motion to go off.

I am really hoping that she left the Apple watch on by accident, that it was tracking her, and that they know exactly where they are headed today and will find him. It may have taken LE some time to get the data with warrants/subpoenas etc. and then some more time to clear the other areas she drove in....hopefully this is the one....they are honing in and that’s why she can’t keep her mouth shut....

I read an article where they interviewed one of the investigators, and they said exactly what you said-they don’t know if they would’ve even had a case without making the deal with the devil. They knew something had occurred in the bathroom, but they hadn’t even known about all the blood or cleanup in the living room, couldn’t find the burn mark at the ranch, etc...The strong chemical smells of cleaners (at the house) and plastic (at the ranch) made things very difficult for the cadaver dogs as well, to find anything. The photo evidence and electronic evidence was helpful, but wouldn’t seal the case without KK spilling the beans.

I don’t think that will be the case here, since LS seems to spill the beans with reckless abandon, all on her own.

I agree...IF Gannon is found.
