Interesting... I posted this on the last thread (Red and BBM) regarding wondering if there could POSSIBLY be a connection between the EPCS Tweet regarding the “Tip count” and UTah. Then I see your post regarding Ogden.

hmmm.. i am wondering if there is ANYTHING at all to this twitter post by EPCS yesterday. We have mentioned before that their words seem to be purposeful.
The “801 Tips” stands out to me (in addition to the phrase “as it happens”)

On 2/21 the EPCSO reported having 718 tips. While it’s possible in 6 days, they received only 83 tips, I feel like with ALL the attention around this case, people are calling in things left and right. Maybe I’m wrong...
801 is the Utah area code
Far fetched but could they know something and they are trying to send that message?
I also realize, SM did not have enough time to drive to Utah BUT maybe there is something else to it. Just brainstorming...

Actually, she just may have! She could drive to some places in Utah and back in that rental car in under 900 miles.

THIS part of her story pissed me off! Why get a car that GS can't recognize??? It told me everything I needed to know about her personality. She's a sneak! She's a spy! That kind of behavior is displayed by someone who wants to catch you at something, just so they can jump on you screaming. Does this mean she used to spy on GS? Did she skulk around the house, slipping around corners just to catch GS doing something wrong then pounce? My sister the narcissist, does this which is the reason I broke all ties with her. After awhile you get a little tired of someone screaming, "AH HA! I'm telling Mom!" behavior when you're older than dirt and your mother is 95 years old. And funny....I haven't had ulcers since!

I kind of get the feeling that LS is running scared and her way of coping is to keep talking and talking in hopes of gaslighting people into believing her. The more she talks the more convoluted her stories become and IMO she may sense things coming to an end.

I do believe she'll eventually break but maybe not until Gannon's body is found. And then, as others have said, she'll try and spin it into some sort of accident, like they all do.

But I'm confident LE and the DA are working this case slow and steady and when the time comes she'll be trapped like a rat. IMO she's going down. MOO.

@MsMarple, I LOVE your thinking! Thank you for bringing a sense of peace to this otherwise torrid situation.
I do believe that LE are all over this and are working methodically to find Gannon AND to bring justice for the heartache caused by a seemingly uncaring, nonchalant, self-absorbed SM.

I do know that I would not like to be in her predicament right now. I mean, if WE have unanswered questions as LE hold their cards close, imagine how the not knowing how much LE knows is eating away at her psyche.

What I find interesting is that T would drive to the airport, rent a vehicle, wait to pick up AS, and then spend time driving around all with a missing or "runaway" child. Would you not want a parent at home in case they came back? How long do most actual runaway kids that age actually stay gone?

My gut says T forgot about that wretched apple watch, knew that she essentially led LE directly to Gannon and knew she needed a way to move him without risking being IDd in the same vehicle she was in the day before. I'd guess she "forgot" both her phone and her watch. My gut says she told AS to stay at home in case Gannon came home and she went for a roadtrip.

If she did move Gannon using that rental car, then the vehicle should be an absolute goldmine.

Cadaver dogs should have hit on it, and his DNA would likely be found. Even without his body, law enforcement could make a compelling no-body case.

That's something I hadn't considered. It would be awfully risky to go back to the scene of a crime and move a body. If the rental car was searched, and she did move Gannon, she's toast. I'm sure LE has examined all the seized vehicles with cadaver dogs.

Interesting. A tiny, tiny piece of me still thinks this was planned for quite some time and she handed him off to someone(with the intention to eventually have him returned unharmed). I could see her doing it for a variety of reasons. One, it deeply would cut LH and she could see the suffering firsthand, it would cut AS as well and I think she harbored anger towards him as well but also possibly force him to turn to her in his grief, GS wouldn't be around(I think she viewed him as a burden), she would gets lots of media attention, everyone would feel sorry for her. So many reasons it would appeal to someone with a personality like that. She would be totally in control and the star of the show. Only piece of a theory like this is I cannot figure out how she would communicate with another individual she was planning to have take him and keep him either before or during this "disappearance". How would that be done and not immediately be traceable by LE once this broke open? Wouldn't they see the communication immediately? Surely all the shopping trips and driving up north weren't ALL red herrings. I have thought about it a lot as more time passes and GS still is not found. I have tried to think of how she would pull off a fake abduction and be able to get away with it this long and LE not have found some communication to this other person and brought Gannon home. It seems impossible, but she continues to shock me and give me pause when I think I have the likely scenario pinned down. I think she is very cunning and I think possibly being underestimated. Even if this theory holds no water and the simplest explanation of abuse being covered up by murder is true(which I 99% believe to be true); the more she talks the more I think she is capable of much worse than I previously imagined and I need to keep thinking outside the box with her.

Yeah those crossed my mind, but how would she meet this person to begin setting this sort of plan in motion in the first place? She would need just the right person to do this. Nobody sane would agree to something like this. I would think LE has dug into the background of all the family and looked at who they know and where they frequent just to rule out anything like this. That's why the pieces don't seem to fit for a theory like this, but I try to keep looking where I think seems improbable because so much just seems improbable with this woman. I just want Gannon found. Man, this little boy has totally captivated me, probably because I see so much of my own son in him. Where are you Gannon?!

Truly, I never had to torture. Got my BA and MA Psych and experience It is when you empathize, feed the ego, etc. that they sing like canaries. We only tortured SF in their training to help them see what might happen in the enemy's hands. A lot of what I did was covert. Befriend them and they will sell their grandma to you.

These searches are very strange..
Why in God's name would they search for a body right beside a roadway, when there are thousands of tracks that she could have taken off same roadway to hide or kill him, if that is what happened?

If rental car farce was a mere tactic to keep AS from discovering something in red vehicle, when did she get to clean it up, the red one, I mean?

Why are they not using 'planes and drones f they ave a military facility at their disposal?
Was the ball dropped here in a big way somewhere along the line?

Gannon is not her child. afaict the father has only been the primary physical cust0dian (maybe decisional as well) for a couple of years. Plus, given the acrimonious circumstances, I''m pretty confident the relationships were less than ideal. Her behavior won't be, and shouldn't be expected to be, imo, remotely similar to the behavior of his bio mother -- regardless of any issues on that side of the equation.

I am one of those rare EXTREMELY broody women. I gave birth to 8, my ex has three step kids by his ex girlfriend who lost custody and my ex got the kids (not biologically his but born during their relationship). I LOVE those kids like they were my own. I think most women would not feel the same about steps but I see a baby and feel like lactating! I love and want to protect kids, mine or others...
