Speculation only - what if she drove the rental 900-odd miles and flew back into CS Airport to collect her own car?

I haven't rented a car in decades but wouldn't the receipt show an extra charge if she dropped the car off at a different place than where she rented it? (Think the receipt originally showed it was rented in CS.)

Also these days it's pretty hard to fly so "secretly" LE won't find out, isn't it?

I think that’s entirely possible especially seeing as the return location is blacked out (unless I missed any convo about it).

I see people saying she & her teen were in Marshall’s and “violated” Tuesday. Is that true? I was thinking it was Wednesday or Thursday. If it is true then there’s another problem because I’m sure they spent a significant amount of time with them but she’d supposedly be racking up 955 mi

Nobody saw that child after 10.13am Monday January27.
It matters nothing what she rented Tuesday Wednesday Thursday or Friday or tomorrow. Even if she rented camels or lions, it's not gonna help us find him.

The 4 hr window and all the possibilities within are where the answer lies.

Sure it's massive country.
Sure it's a needle in a haystack scenario but I'm through with chasing her cobwebs.
Enough is enough.
The case is stalled search wise.
A few guys clearing snow from the side of the road or sifting snow or eating snow on sides of roads is going nowhere.
I feel like taking a flight myself at this stage.

To look at what is possible, hustle some drones and choppers and make enough noise so they will be given.
enough is enough. This is pathetic.
@kittythehare, you are not alone in your frustration. Enough is right!

I am a big fan of the show Blue Bloods. And I can't help but think, "Where is Danny Reagan"?

This is possible as there is some reason that the drop off address of the rental is redacted.

According to what the lying liar said in Crime Online interview part 2, Al was with her when she rented this vehicle. No offense but I’d like to hear that from him. And does Mr. Stauch know she put 955 miles on the rental? And did he wonder where she went? And why didn’t he ask he4 to stay at home while HE rode around in the rental and look for his son?

Every time this woman opens her mouth, I get more and more confused. Maybe because her lies get more and more bizarre.

Where is Gannon? Enough messing around with this woman and find the boy. Following her GPS is the only sane lead from that woman they will get. FWIW
I think she was slick, and worded it so it sounded like he was with her when she rented it...but she didnt exactly say that...she said:

"That morning, Stauch said she picked up her husband at the Colorado Springs airport; both left the airport in the rental car, she claimed."

"Stauch said, “the plan was to look for Gannon in a car he would not recognize.” Stauch added that they didn’t know if Gannon would hide from his family’s cars, thinking he was in trouble."

And the car was rented about 8:30 am. I dont think he landed until around noon. JMO

Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSBP), also known as factitious disorder, is when a caregiver, usually the child’s mother or a female close to the child, fabricates a child’s illness. In extreme cases, the person causes the child to actually become sick, often with dire and sometimes fatal consequences.

The individual enjoys the attention and sympathy that she receives for having a sick child as well as the praise for being such a devoted mother.
10 Shocking Cases Involving Munchausen Syndrome By Proxy - Listverse

Oh my gosh pages and pages behind. I have tried to catch up but I fear TS is making you all nuts and I can’t stand it. It’s reminding of a handful of mothers and their children I have come across in my career. The children come in multiple times, multiple ailments no explanation. Something goes wrong still no rhyme or reason. Mothers r jumping in “well it’s this or it’s that or u must have done this or u must have done that”. Somehow they know or think they know more than everyone health care professional involved in the child’s care. We as health care professionals r going crazy trying to get the answers just to find it’s all lies. All centered around the need by the mother for attention. I truly believe that’s what’s happening here. I think TS has a history of making Gannon sick and injured and I think this time it was fatal. But she still seeks attention so every interview, every lie it’s all for that purpose. Non of it is ever going to make sense as much as we try to solve it because it’s all fabricated. She is seeking attention and we are providing her with that attention. She’s thriving on the attention she is getting for having a missing child. She knows where Gannon is. She will eventually lead us to him. JMHO

We all believe we know enough about this case to conclude to a particular outcome and whom should be held to account. We fear the worst and seem certain who is to blame. It almost seems it's a slam-dunk case. Maybe even too easy.

I'm offering these thoughts because maybe things aren't what they seem. What if too many assumptions and armchair conclusions are way off the mark? Maybe a wrong rabbit hole has been entered and even explored beyond its actual boundaries? Maybe paint has been applied beyond that of the original painting? Maybe pieces of the puzzle have not even been considered, much less discussed to their possibilities?

What if GS left the dwelling on his own accord for whatever reason, with full intent to return later but something happened to him along the way that did not involve family members? What if GS was frightened that family members were/would be disappointed with him for having done something he shouldn't have, accidentally or otherwise? Did he feel shame? Guilt? Could GS have climbed over fencing to avoid surveillance cameras he likely knew existed? Where would he go? Or, maybe he truly was on his way to a friend's house but something happened before he even got there?

WE DO NOT KNOW.

We've been told by LE there are 'two investigations'. LE is performing due diligence, as all avenues must be exhausted and searches are a means to one (or maybe both?) investigations. What of the second investigation? LE likely is investigating possibilities that GS left on his own accord then something happened to him and maybe LE has not yet discovered or at least hasn't publicly released existence of potential evidence. Either discovered inside or outside of the house or farther away.

WE DO NOT KNOW.

LE is concerned about dissemination of social media "misinformation" as having affected their efforts. Legit. Has there been a public's rush to judgement?

LE hasn't categorized this case as a criminal investigation. No one has been named as a POI, much less as a SUSPECT and no one has been publicly cleared either. Not a single family or non-family member. NO ONE.

WHY?

Popular opinion or otherwise, I care not. This is a legitimate concern and should at least be considered.

Hi everyone, I'm new here and watching this all unfold from England.
This case is bizarre and I'm shocked that no one has been arrested yet.
I read that the police stated if this was an abduction they would let the public know, so does this mean they believe Gannon is a runaway still?
I'm not able to watch some news stations here, EU law . . . . . Is there a reward for Gannon? If not, why?
I hope this case doesn't go cold, I followed the Delphi murders for a bit and that just breaks my heart.

This statement really bugs me:

“Hey, if my son is scared of getting in trouble he may hide if he sees us. Not to mention it was economical and an easy way to pull in and out because we were going door to door.”

It was economical? Is gas mileage a big concern when your 11 yr old is missing and you are trying to find him?

Looking at this , we'd have to determine which direction would be quickest, and fit better in her short timeline.

In other words, would it be easier/faster to drive towards Kansas than New Mexico?
Or Montana or Utah?

Very odd . . . .
If your child was missing and perhaps in danger, spotting you easily would be paramount! Especially if he was hurt and hiding or running from someone.
It sounds like T believes Gannon ran away and would avoid them.
I don't know how an 11 year old boy could survive on his own for this length of time, and do this by choice.
Very bizzare for T to state this.

Does AS verify that the spent the day Tuesday driving around in her rental car going door to door, looking for Gannon? Also, AS left Saturday evening? I wonder what time as according to TS that was the evening that GS cut his foot and bled in the garage. Was Saturday also the day, according to TS, that GS had an accident in his pants? IMO things started unraveling soon after AS left.

Is Garden of the Gods scenic? It’s sounds like it is. It’s odd to me the only photo of the day is a close up selfie, rather than one of the kids (or solo shots) just in nature’s beauty. I agree that the photos of the day are excessive, but I think the GotG photo was also alibi building- to prove they were one big happy...

Garden of the Gods is beautiful. There are sandstone formations, and amazing views of Pikes Peak. It has a 5+ mile scenic drive which is great when fall comes and the aspen leaves begin to change color. There are hiking trails, areas for picnics, overlooks. It's a very touristy area, along with other gorgeous places like Seven Falls and Cave of the Winds.

I think you're absolutely right. The pics taken the day prior to Gannon's disappearance were to show how happy he was with SM and more than likely to show she was a great, loving SM.

Let's have another look at this.
It does not specify miles.
Suppose it is kilometers?

Trying to keep up with who said what is driving me nuts!
There's so much info to process and it seems to be all coming from T.
This woman talks so much and is digging a bigger hole.
I hope she is innocent and Gannon is found safe soon.
I don't know how the family would get over this if T did in fact harm Gannon.
This whole case is tragic.

All US vehicle odometers are in miles. The left side of the paper says ‘mileage’ several times. Even if it was km the conversion to miles would be close to 600mi which still tips the highly suspicious scale.

If this is in fact what she did... drive 450mi out & come back... I think we’d have to cross fingers that LE has a gps log for the car because there is NO way we’ll figure out which direction she chose. Let’s just hope they have everything they need and they’re just lying in wait until this sweet boy comes home!

Edit: MOO
Seriously, we’d be in matching straight jackets trying to figure it out

Regarding "medication" and how much should be given:

It is reported GS suffers from ADHD and IBS. One of those conditions could be treated with OTC, the other typically not. One might assume GS had been prescribed medication for one or both diagnoses. We do not know.

We're not sure for what 'ailment' GS may have required medication that Monday but it's interesting TS noted she questioned the nursing help line as to how much of the medication to give and NOT give; this makes me think the nursing-help-line-advised-medication was never administered to GS before that Monday or at least TS never administered it previously.

I suppose TS was attempting to present a fact that she wanted to be mindful in administering a proper dose, nothing more. Or, as I expect a few folks might opine, that TS wanted to know how much was too much for nefarious reason or was covering her arse in case GS is found to have taken too much medication.

I don't believe it was nefarious.
