Yeah I thought about this too. I would think a primary part of their job is to track mileage. In fact I think that is one of the most important priorities of a rental place is to track mileage to make sure rental cars are being serviced appropriately. It doesn’t make sense to me that they would not do this as it is listed on their receipts. I think it would be really important to track.

It is tracked, therefore mileage isn’t a big factor anymore. The systems automatically calculate from one (1) contract to another contract the mileage. High tech people, the car is like an Apple Watch

@gatorage, you are so generous to share your knowledge with us here on WS. I don't want to put you on the spot, but I believe you have much to offer LE in this investigation. I am afraid to assume that all of LE has a full grasp of the technology. My statement is about me, and my feeling afraid which is not a reflection on LE.

Also, I have concerns about the possibility of Gannon being taken to KS. My gosh! Lets hope the odometer was not reset after the previous renter. This case does not need jurisdictional issues too.

I’ve heard Kansas, Utah, and Texas today. Sure wish TS would clear that up.

We have am Enterprise employer walk us to the vehicle have us check the starting mileage & ask is to mark on a vehicle diagram any significant dents or scratches. Upon return they mark the ending mileage. We have returned it ourselves,dropped the keys in a box and marked the ending mileage on a slip & We sign off on it. This has been the case in both Florida and Georgia. Idk, maybe they dont care about that in other places but they did at the Enterpise & Budget rental car companies we used in those states. Maybe we had an od experience. I asked my better half to share the receipts with me and he is asked me wth do you keep asking for our rental car info, whats up with this rental car fixation you have lately, lol

Exactly...I agree 100%. However...and it's a big however...I would think that hindering an investigation or similar acts would warrant some sort of action against TS...even it was to hold her for a minimum amount of time...turn the heat up a little bit to expose more cracks in her story. Also, there is no confirmation nor admonishment from AS regarding the reason for the rented car and other information we WSers consider obvious obstruction on the part of TS...very odd no statements from AS have graced the web or MSM...

Right now T probably doesn't have an attorney because she can't afford one. If she is arrested for a low level charge, she gets an attorney for free. She will then shut up and we are no closer to finding Gannon.

I think Gannon’s phone was with them on 4 hour shopping trip. She’s not sure it can be pinged so she has to say it was there just in case they have data from his phone. Only reason she would admit to selfie on his phone in crime online interview.

Is there or has there been evidence of long term abuse by her toward Gannon? I keep seeing it being taken for granted that he was abused, depressed, etc so maybe I missed an article. I have to wonder if AS was home much or was very observant if she could have been terrorizing, brutalizing, threatening etc toward Gannon all along. Is there a history of police response for domestic altercations at their house?

Stauch admitted that she left her phone at home on January 27, but said she had an Apple smartwatch on the entire time, which can easily track her whereabouts.

Well, if TS said she had the watch on the entire time, who the heck knows if she is telling the truth? To me, she has ZERO credibility ... NONE!

not that we know of because we are not permitted to sleuth her beyond her words and that's more than enough to exhaust us all permanently, like a virus.

She has said both that they took the selfie in the driveway on her phone and that they took it out in front of the house on Gannon’s phone because she left her behind. I’d like her to clarify which is true.

So I have always wondered if Gannon was sick or attended school prior to dad's departure for military maneuvers. I believe it is a very valid question. Anybody know?
Also, aren't they transplants to the Colorado Springs area? Jusy curious how far from his mom Gannon was?
