As for the buying bus tickets question, the TS-authored, or at least contributed, original "missing poster" made sure to state that Gannon was not known to have taken any bank or credit cards with him, so it seems to me she would already know this.

I think it has struck a lot of people as odd; but then again, someone else said it was a 2019; no? Maybe it was a tail-end of 2019 Budget got on sale.

I think anybody's getting hung up on the 5 miles is a mistake, just because I don't see anybody in connection with this case being smart enough to know how to alter an odometer on a 2019 computer-controlled car.

And if anybody can come up with another reason as for why we'd be worried about the car's only showing 5 miles, I'd love to hear it, because either my eyes have been glazing over when it's been discussed, or I haven't seen anyone discuss why we should be worried over it. Just that it's weird-to-impossible.

IMO, JMO, MOO, ATJ (All That Jazz), etc.
no clue if this in the realm of possibilities...let’s say, yes brand new rental vehicle, parents rent vehicle, what’s chances GS’s DNA transferred, a fraction,
POI’s, I’d say scientifically a high probability, specifically in the case of deceased DNA.

What discourages me is how similar this case is to Kyron’s, which came about shortly after I joined...ten years ago now. No one believed he would not be found or that charges and a trial were not imminent. Same with Haleigh C. & Ayla Jennings...there seemed to be no reason, except that the children have never been found, for not making arrests. So it is difficult to believe that Gannon’s case will be different if he is no found. This seems to be key when the missing person is a child, historically. And in Haleigh’s and Ayla’s cases, I think more than one person knows what happened yet here we are...years later.

Sorry to be so discouraging...been here too long, maybe.

As for my theory on Bear Creek Dog Park, would the lovely journalist on here be able to shed any light on the area or possibility or it being where he is and could someone please call it in to the tip line.

It’s someone being funny about the number of questions/amount of analysis people have come up with related to the rental car receipt from Part 2 of the Crime Online interview. The receipt says LS used at least a full tank of gas 300+ miles) and claims she drove 955 miles, which some people think could suggest she moved the body/evidence and some people think was a mistake.

I didn’t see that! I am so behind. I am local and started a high profile job at a large nonprofit organization last month and I’ve had to wean myself from this case. I rely solely on local news and occasionally Websleuths (because I know it’s factual, thank you) for my information. I didn’t mean to open a whole new can of worms. Carry on!
Eh, I think it's safe to say a rental car rented at the CO Springs Budget rental desk did not have 5 miles on it for its first ever rental. People can certainly speculate, it just seems extremely unlikely and more due to a typo.

just throwing this out there... we rented a car from DFW airport once and noted (and thought it was cool) that it only had 70 miles on it. Brand spanking new.

It hasn't been discussed as far as I know. I put an earlier post as to why I lean in this direction.

When she did the back to camera interview she spoke of Gannon in the present, until she mentioned the dogs and it was then that she spoke in past tense.
It is smack bang in the middle of video game stores, near Garden of Gods, she has used the word chase many times - which is what dogs do, made a possible purchase at a dog related vendor, it's not far from Burger King, and there is a gate to the entrance.

I could be insanely wrong. But it just jumped out at me when I was staring at google maps.
I am lost, forgive me, maybe just cliff notes, tia

I think most people agree with you. They are just being polite to acknowledge there’s an outside chance that this thing goes off the rails and surprises everyone when the truth comes out. But it seems to me that most (def not all tho!) people here suspect LS more than they suspect any other explanation.
Yeah, thank you, as I’ve stated, we are totally confident of LS guilt, at this point, every time she opens her mouth, she adds a decimal point to the .000000000000001 chance she is innocent, but they also make it even more likely that he may have WANTED to run away...

Have there been any searches there that you are aware of? Would LE be aware of this area? Interesting....

Maybe Silverheels could go there and see if her hair stands on end ?

Funny enough, I’ve been operating under the assumption that he was not sick, atleast in the traditional sense.

Abuse Saturday night, and murder/coverup on Monday.

She wasn’t driving a sick kid with diarrhea around, she was driving an injured kid to his demise.
Just to be clear, was abuse Saturday night or Sunday night? I thought the GOTG’s hike was Sunday?

Damnit, thanks, I mean Sunday.

Saturday he “cut his foot,” and she had him walk it off with a hike.

As one does.

I think any abuse came Sunday.

I have been mulling over possible locations.

Taking into consideration everything TS has said, verbal leakage, the fact that she started speaking in past tense as soon as she mentioned the dogs in the back to camera video, I am seriously considering the possibility that Gannon is somewhere in or near the Bear Creek Dog Park.

I made an earlier post around page 50 I'd say which details my theory.

It is not based on any LE information released etc, but from taking what TS has said and putting that into google maps and coming up with this area which is part of a circle in the area TS would have travelled on that Monday.

Hope that helps!!

Oh my gosh. I am so behind. I am so behind It feels like im way back at thread 1.
Everyone here is a power commenter and the dedication is admirable!

I tried going thru all of my alerts - but I am going to ask in case I missed something....
Did anyone answer my post about do we have evidence that Gannon was FACTUALLY sick that monday ........ or is everyone just relying on TS's claim? A lot of time is being taken to discuss this issue - and it's possible I missed something stating he really was. I mean, I see people going way into medical issues such as apendicitus. Do we even have facts that he was sick.

I really understand developing theories. But when someone is a full time liar - how do you develop theories based on [more than likely] untruths?

I, personally, am having a hard time believing it....as I have yet to hear any truth come from her....which is why I haven't spent much time on it.

............off to read way over 1000 messages as I am still on #22
:D

.....and it's snowing again now :( I'm about 45 minutes from the Springs. Not sure how much it's snowing there, but it's really coming down here again. Just ugh.

I’ve heard Kansas, Utah, and Texas today. Sure wish TS would clear that up.
I think TS may enjoy sending LE on a wild goose chase. Like some kind of a sadistic thrill.

This is near Old Colorado City correct?

Interesting. I’ve missed these locations. Have we discussed them?or do u suspect they were ever searched?
Bear Creek dog park is extremely crowded and not all that big of an area. Part of Bear Creek runs through the park but the water is very shallow. I couldn’t see anyone being “hidden” there for very long without being found. Especially with the nice weather we had over the weekend. More snow tonight though in COS. Sigh.

They hit back a helluva lot harder tho... probably send her to the mid east where it's lively.
Only fair.
