I’m awake, can’t sleep thinking about this case. :( Still no news.

It looks like stick figures. But notice the dark line on the street doesn't continue through the "center" in the stick figure. What if it is a person wearing something reflective? Here is the same picture with that potentially reflective area blacked out...
Once you filled in the potential reflective space looks to me like an adult bent over holding the legs of a smaller person. Like a wheelbarrow race only the smaller person’s forearms are on the pavement instead of just their hands.

ETA Not suggesting that’s what it is, it’s just what this Rorschach test for true crime buffs looks like to me.

It seems pretty obvious that SM could only use her daughter to be an alibi until Sunday evening without making her lie. I've heard nothing about Gannon being seen Sunday night or Monday morning. I don't think that's a coincidence.

I don't think it matters whether he was supposedly sick or had an appointment, per se, other than that it's just an unaccounted time frame. I tried to listen to that Nancy Grace pod, but she's just so grating I had to turn it off when she said no parents ever let their children stay home sick if they aren't, or allow them to play with other kids or afternoons when they were sick, or that moms always immediately take their kids to school after a doctor's appointment.

I did sometimes let my kids stay home -- with the caveat that if they were pretending to be sick they couldn't play games or play with their friends in the afternoon. They could read. They could sit in the kitchen and watch me cook or do laundry. They didn't choose to do that very often. Other children's parents had no qualms about. They would send their actual sick children to my house after school. Not nice, because I have severe autoimmune issues and catch anything that goes around. I really resented that.

As far as going to the doctor? That was an "us" day. Not their dad, not their brother, nobody else but us. After hours in the doctor's office (my oldest was born with a heart malfunction) and my youngest has asthma) the rest the day was theirs. We'd go wherever they wanted for lunch, and then the couple hours before I had to pick up their sibling we'd do whatever they wanted to do at home with me. I don't think letting your children stay at home sometimes, or not taking them to school after a doctor's appointment necessarily means you're a bad parent or you're planning a crime, lol. I am a good parent, and my boys look back on those days fondly.

In this case, however, I think no matter which scenario is made, Dr. Appointment/sick, is just a blank space of unaccounted time that is worrisome. If one of my kids was sick the other would have known because they'd have seen me taking care of them and telling them to get out of the room so they don't get sick, too. Or, if they'd had a Dr. appointment, they both would have been in the car while I took the other to school.

That's what's not registering with me. No comments at all about either sibling seeing Gannon on Monday morning.

I feel your pain, my neighbor is not a good parent, nothing is reciprocated. I am also used as free after school daycare and a meal provider because the Mom is never home. I love the kids like my own and I can't see them fall between the cracks but its getting ridiculous.

Oh my...not another blurry pic with a dog in it? (Sounds familiar....hmm) I know most of you know what I’m referencing. This could go on for daaaaayysssso_O
MOO
I’m quite certain the bent over person has a wooden leg and something long and hard shoved up their sleeve....

That last sentence by the neighbor says it all... something like hoping Gannon is found soon and brought home safe so to give family some closure... :(
Yes. He clearly didn’t mean to say “safe,” in the context of that conversation. He just meant “home.”

Whatever he saw on video, there is no understating the significance of it. I’m convinced he saw Gannon’s body being carried to a vehicle.

It has to be something conspicuous.

Yeah, I don't think it tells us anything about what happened. It just shows the angle of the camera from the neighbors house.

Is that the only camera, though? I thought I read there were two cameras or two different views or something like that?

In the news report when they’re interviewing the neighbor in his living room they cut away to a screen w/a single view shown at different times. That view appeared to capture the neighbors own driveway and tiny piece of the sidewalk. That may be the “second view” if there is one.

Yeah, it made me feel so bad because the children were so desperate for attention and affection. So jealous of my boys and all the fun activities we always had going on at home... art, music, games, etc. I cannot count how many times some little person threw their arms around my waist and said, "I wish you were my mom", or, after their parent called to "check up on them" the next morning, begged to stay another night. Without asking me, of course, the always said yes. I found out later that one of the girls. Taylor (smart as 🤬🤬🤬🤬, and so sweet) after having almost all the summer with us... her mom wasn't really wasn't busy looking for a job, but was spending her time drugging and "dating" and had moved into a motel with her new, young boyfriend. It was really depressing for me (and no doubt for her) when I eventually had to drop her off at her home in a motel with mom's new boyfriend. That 🤬🤬🤬🤬 gets tiring.

Totally agree. He was at a loss for words there and did not mean "safe". "Safe" and "closure" in this context unfortunately do not go together...

Wait just a minute.
How and why did media obtain this video footage?
Would they actually show the significant portion, even blurred? This is still an active investigation(!)

I am hoping this is good news but I also pause because I guarantee LE told that neighbor not to reveal one way or another what exactly he saw. It's very perplexing because it's almost as if he's speaking out of both sides of his mouth. He mentions that "he hopes he's found quickly and brought home safe and that he hopes it gives the family some closure". I'm not sure what exactly that means? I believe he also said he saw the boy playing Sunday. If something went wrong Sunday we still have reports that the Step Mom kept him home from school on Monday due to not feeling well and then allowed him to walk to a friends house to play and he's never seen again? I guess only time will tell...but I have never been so lost.

Maybe he’s trying not to reveal what he saw. And he hopes it’s wrong and that Gannon is alive.

But I’m thinking there’s a good chance that it’s simply something similar to the video in the Watts case. It showed only one vehicle approaching the home after Shanann went inside. Chris’ truck. Which he backed into the garage a bit. It showed no other people leaving really. (Although the kids’ shadows show a bit). Didn’t show Shanann taking off with the girls.

So his truck was the only way they could’ve left that house.

Can someone explain what the difference would be between seeing camera footage on an iPad vs a TV? Is it the size? I have a tiny TV. If someone had a wide-screen TV there'd be better visuals? Someone mentioned audio, but my iPad has very good audio.

ETA: Also, I'm a little confused about how apparently multiple outlets have access to images/video, but nothing has leaked?

This. His remarks about his camera capability, and the media flashing images of LE in the garage, likely tell the story of what he saw, which was a body being carried/loaded.

My guess is LE has known who for a time, they just haven’t had what they needed, and between the video/audio, and what they brought out of the house after seeing it, Gannon is closer to being found and justice is coming. I hope for the family’s sake.

I also will not be surprised if we hear that marriage was not going well.

The media is likely staking out the place. Saw LE go inside the neighbor’s for a long time. Maybe saw the dad go in first.

So they’d be all over that guy the moment they saw him. And they know how to talk to people to make them at ease and get them to reveal things. Most people aren’t like us and wouldn’t think they were comprising an investigation by showing something to a reporter. He probably thought he was being helpful.

LE might’ve gotten wind and rushed to ask the media to please not air the footage. Thank God they’re complying so far. At least to some degree.

Absolutely agree. This closed the gap between what they believed, and what they could prove.

If SM was on the fence about cooperating, she likely won’t be in the coming hours.

“It was an accident, and I panicked.”

Not much IMO. I think the switch in devices may be inconsequential, and he just noticed on the second viewing.

I couldn’t sleep either. My eyes opened up around 1:00. I felt a yucky pain in my chest. Drank a huge glass of water to down and started searching for updates. I just wanna know where Gannon is. I’ll worry about who’s responsible later. Find Gannon. He will tell us what happened to him, dead or alive, one way or another. Where could he be? There’s been so many experienced searchers looking. I’m afraid he’s beneath the ground. Where is Gannon?

Well, if that video is the "thing" LE needed, I guess that alleviates the SM from having to make BS explanations about whether Gannon was sick or had a Dr's appointment, and how she could have agreed to let him visit a friend while she was in the basement with headphones on, or how she agreed to let them visit a friend she didn't know. Saves a lot of BS.

It will be interesting to see what she'll have to explain. For some reason, I don't get the vibe that there will some skiffy story involving a gardener tryst or other complications. You never know. People are weird.

I can see how a bigger screen would give better visuals, too. But now that I’ve just watched this latest interview with the neighbor, I’m thinking it wasn’t that he got a better view of something he had watched before but something NEW.. because he says “ I backtracked and watched Saturday thru Monday”. Perhaps he had never looked at Sunday evening into Monday morning since stepmother said Gannon went missing Monday afternoon? Just guessing MOO. Whatever he saw, it had the CSI back out there in a hurry. I feel so bad for Gannon and his folks.

I immediately thought that it could show Gannon thrown over her shoulder and put into the car. JMO

She doesnt look like she is big enough to manhandle an 11 yr old easily to me,especially a dead weight one.
I couldnt do it easily with my 7yr old,I mean I could do it but not incognito:)
