I was thinking about a possible motive. I'm having trouble coming up with one. I've realized that I have a strong tendancy to not suspect premeditated / preplanned murders in these cases involving "loved ones". I just have a problem thinking people can be that purely evil. It probably happens more than I think, though.

Anyway, once again, I feel that premeditated murder in this case is unlikely. I just can't think of a likely reason of why she would want to kill him. I just realized that I'm also having trouble thinking of ANY logical / probable reason how, or why, he would end up dead at her hands.

I guess there is still hope of a miracle that he will turn up safe.

Jealousy is a powerful thing.
And I 100% think that’s the motive here. MOO

Assuming this is a crime, the typical scenario seems to be that someone loses their temper, and the death is a result of that.

If Gannon was murdered, which I think is overwhelmingly likely, I don’t think it was premeditated.

Something happened Sunday night, which afforded the killer time to dispose of the body, and develop a narrative.

A false one.
Yep yep yep. Same.

That still photo...... The truck backed up into the driveway didn't belong there, and the camera may have caught someone hauling Gannon away ??????...................moo

I saw a person bending towards a stroller or child’s toy
That could be, since the neighbor has a child who looks like a toddler.

It’s from this shot grabbed from CNN video on Neighbors surveillance of Gannon driveway.
This photo in post #479 shows a truck or SUV backed into that driveway.......I wonder if that is the "new evidence" that led to all this LE activity ????....moo

Remember the Bobby Cutts case, when he killed Jessie Davis? Their 2 year old witnessed the fight, and said Mommy's in the rug, Mommy broke the table. That helped crack the case. Cutts said they were having a pushing fight and she fell on the table and died. Something like that, but then he desecrated her body. It could be simple like that, Gannon may have broken something, she swatted him or menaced him, he backed up, or was pushed, fell and cracked his head on something and died. It happens. I can't get aboard with the theories that she ran over him, her boyfriend (if there was one) killed him, or that she was getting back at her husband for some marital discord. The marital discord if present could have made her push him a little harder if she resented having to take care of him, as was possibly hinted at in her interview. But in all his pics he looks like a happy kid, when abused kids often have that cloud in their face. Maybe it all happened, but the simplest explanation usually wins out, as we know from that famous saying. JMO.

Do we even know what kind of car SM drives?

Has the 911 call been released yet? I’d like to know who actually called & reported Gannon as a runaway. I’ve seen it said on here somewhere it was a neighbor that called? Has that been confirmed?
Edited: typo, twice

Because I’m a directional dummy I had a friend look up the two addresses again and I was wrong earlier about the house and camera direction. This image is correct.

Sorry, I get lost in a culdesac. Obviously.
I looked at google maps, and Gannon's entire subdivision has zero houses built in it. Seems strange that google's picture would be that old.

But doesn't Gannon's street end a couple of houses past his? You can see it in some of the pictures, or news reports. I can't find any part of gannon's street where this would occur. I guess it doesn't matter. I think the important thing is that gannon's house is 2 doors down from the camera (on the same side of the street). Your diagram shows this relationship.

I'm more concerned about the google map. It looks like the subdivision is in the beginning stages of construction.

Im certain that if they were staying there that they aren’t there today.

I’m also not sure that they were staying there. SM made it sound like it but her inability to even get underpants for her daughter made it sound (to me) that LE wasn’t letting anyone in there.
Bio, step or otherwise.

I think she may have just said that to make BD and BM look bad for “putting her out”. My feeling is that pretty quickly neither BM or BD were telling SM much of anything.

I didn't think they would be staying there either until the neighbor with video surveillance said he went over to show Albert the video this morning. If they weren't allowed in the house, Albert would have to go to the neighbors house or meet at the hotel. I suppose they could have just met up out front.

Premeditation can just be a split second decision, as I’m sure you know. This is just speculation if stepmom had something to do with Gannon being gone.

Enumerated First Degree Murders

State laws often categorize specific types of killings as first degree. In these cases, the typical elements of specific intent to kill, deliberation and premeditation may not be required. These often include:

  • the killing of a child by use of unreasonable force;
  • certain killings committed in a pattern of domestic abuse;

My sense is that they’ve been staying there all along, but were asked to leave after surveillance footage brought law enforcement back to the house.

The media wouldn’t have gotten wind of it until the crime scene van showed up, and that could have been hours after the family left the house.

Ha! Yeah. I always get myself in trouble when I say “not premeditated” in crimes like this (assuming this is one, which I would bet my life on).

What I mean, is that the killer didn’t wake up one morning with a plan to commit murder.

I think this became a murder within a short period of time.

So I’m not speaking legally, but in terms of timespan.

I think it was the stepmother who called. In the PC they said the caller reported that Gannon had run away and when they interviewed the caller they said he was last seen between 3:00 and 4:00.

I've never seen anything in MSM about a second caller or a neighbor calling.

If you have ever gone through your own camera footage it is super tedious - I have alerts so when there is motion I can go right to that alert and see what caused the motion - if the neighbor ran through his footage first on the iPad it would be pretty tedious IMO but when he caught something he pulled it up on the tv where it was larger IMO - it might only be a corner of an image depending on the angle since most would point their cameras at their own driveway - doorbell cams do the porch etc - based on the images we did get to see I do think something was caught in the far corner of his camera range and it was bad based on Dads reaction

Good man. Imagine that. He works. He has a life. And likely just wanted to rest. But he was vested enough to search through 7 hours of footage.

Looking past the guy walking and the dog trailing behind (smelling at the electrical box...funny it seems a lot of people from other areas don’t know these!? When you’re house hunting it’s nice to find one without a box in your front or back yard. Our neighbors are the lucky ones who got it)...anyway, Gannon’s driveway is the one beyond the electric box and there is a vehicle parked there. Backed up? What type of car did the family own? Was this that or a rental car? Oldest daughter’s car? Another person’s car? I think this is the thing of interest in the pic and we’re just seeing the person.

There is something there on the ground (circled in red) ... :(:

I don’t see how you can discern at all where that blob is. Could be a person walking. Carrying something. I think that would be more likely than a body dumped on the ground for some reason, for awhile.
